dear Editor, We read with interest of the article written by Park et al. They performed a randomized controlled trial to compare efficacy and safety between 50 mg once-daily and 200 mg on-demand dosing use of udenafil for the treatment of type 2 diabetic patients with erectile dysfunction （ED）. Their findings indicated that the most common drug-related adverse events （AEs） were flushing （8,9% vs 2,5%） and headache （3.8% vs 1.3%） between the on-demand group and the daily-dosed group. Although the authors believed that the udenafil was well-tolerated in both groups, unfortunately, they failed report the total incidence of AEs to assess the safety of the two groups.

The Year, proclaimed for 2008 by the UN General Assembly in late december 2005 will be the central year in a Planet Earth triennium that will begin in January 2007 and end in december 2009.

dear EDITOR,Sox9 is a member of the Sry-related high-mobility group box(Sox)transcription factor family in *** teleost fish,Sox9 undergoes duplication to generate two duplicates,namely Sox9a and ***,the functions of these duplicates in the teleost Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus)remain *** this study,we characterized the roles of Nile tilapia Sox9a in chondrogenesis and gonadal *** situ hybridization assays showed that Sox9a was mainly expressed in cartilage tissues and somatic cells surrounding germ cells of the ***/Cas9-mediated homozygous mutation of the Sox9a gene resulted in craniofacial deformities and missed mandibles,as well as impaired the expression of Col2a1a that is involved in *** addition,germ cell number and DNA replication in somatic cells in the gonads of both sexes were reduced following Sox9a *** together,this study demonstrates that Sox9a is involved in cartilage development and germ cell proliferation in Nile tilapia.

dear editors, The way in which religious texts and sources depict the processes involved in the regulation of life is an interesting and rich topic. For example, the Holy Bible, the religious basis of Western civilization, is a document that includes references to medical, as well as historic cultural practicestu. Sun has already demonstrated that the Bible contains rich medical materials on different subjects in which the roots of modem medicine can be seen. We would like to expand this view to show that religious documents, with a focus on the Holy Bible, are illustrative of period understanding of life and human biological rhythmicity and chronobiology.

dear Editor,Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)is the sixth most common cancer globally[1,2].despite the improvement in treatment modalities,up to 50%of HNSCC patients still develop recurrent/metastatic(R/M)disease[3],and platinum-based chemotherapy with cetuximab and/or pembrolizumab has become the standard of care[4].However,R/M HNSCC is challenging to treat,the prognosis is poor,and there is an unmet need for new therapeutic targets.
