A multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) has led to improvements in screening, detection,and treatments. Interventional techniques includethermal ablation, transarterial chemoembolization, and radioembolization whilst stereotactic body radiation therapy also uses imaging to target the radiation. Both survival rates and cure rates have improved markedly since the introduction of these techniques. This review article describes the image guided techniques used for the treatment of HCC.

The equatorial and polar satellites of the Double Star Project (DSP) were launched successfully on December 29, 2003 and July 25, 2004, respectively, and both of them are operating smoothly. The DSP provides a good opportunity for investigat-ing the structure of the magnetosphere. Based on the DSP data collected during 2004, we have surveyed the distribution of the magnetic fields and plasmas in the magnetosphere. It is found that: (1) Near the Earth’s equatorial plane within geo-centric distances of less than 7 RE, the Earth’s magnetic field is dipolar. In the vi-cinity of the magnetopause, the magnetic field is enhanced by a factor of about 1.5, and on the nightside, the magnetic field can vary significantly from the Earth’s di-pole field, likely caused by the presence of the near-Earth tail current sheet. (2) In the day-side magnetosheath, the electron and ion densities are usually both in the range of 10―30 cm?3; the ion and electron temperatures are usually about 200 and 50 eV, respectively. The flow pattern is usually smooth, with a low velocity in the subsolar region and with significantly higher velocities in the dawn and dusk flanks. (3) In the region between the magnetopause and plasmasphere the density is low, approximately 0.5―5 cm?3, and the temperature is high, about 1―10 keV for ions and 0.1―5 keV for electrons. The ion temperature has an apparent anisotropy, with the ratio of the perpendicular and parallel temperatures being about 1.0―1.3 for the night- and dusk-side magnetosphere and about 1.3―2.0 for the day- and dawn-side magnetosphere. There is an evident sunward convection of about 50 km/s in the magnetosphere. On the dawn side, the flow becomes somewhat turbulent, and in the vicinity of the night-noon meridian plane, the convection is rather slow. (4) The high-energy electrons with energies higher than 2 meV are mainly located in the regions with 3 me, it may expand and shrink

Aims Recognizing ungulate browsing thresholds between viable and declining aspen(Populus tremuloides michx.)stands are critical to ensuring long-term persistence of this biologically important plant *** have shown declines in vigor and regeneration when as few as 30%of current annual twigs are browsed while other studies have shown higher *** the effects of ungulate herbivory are of concern in aspen forests,few studies have assessed browsing effects following wildfire and few criteria exist for deter-mining potential effects of ungulate browsing on aspen forests fol-lowing *** evaluated the effects of ungulate abundance and foraging intensity on regenerating aspen 1 to 6 years post-fire and assessed the use of abundance and foraging intensity indicators in predicting impacts to regenerating *** mountain elk(Cervus elaphus nelson)was the primary ungulate in the study *** The study area was located within the 17500 ha cerro Grande Fire burn area in the Jemez mountains,New mexico,*** used percent aspen twigs browsed and pellet-group counts to evaluate relationships between these indicators and aspen patch structure(height,size).We collected data in randomly generated 3×33 m plots 5-6 years *** also established 4 fenced exclosures(25×55 m and 3.3 m in height)with paired unfenced plots 1-year post-fire to monitor aspen *** spring,we recorded percent browsed twigs from the previous fall through the early spring period which coincided with the highest ungulate use period within the study *** assessed associations between percent twigs browsed and pellet-group density and patch size and height of aspen using Spearman’s correlation *** Findings mean percent twigs browsed and ungulate pellet-group density across the burn area was≤31%and 1 pellet-group 100 sq m−1,*** size and height decreased with increasing browsing and pellet-group density 5-6 years ***

Field aligned current （FAC） distribution in the plasma sheet boundary layers （PSBLs） in the magnetotail is studied statistically by analysing magnetic field data from the Cluster 4-point measurements. The results show that the FAC distribution on the dusk side is not the same as that on the dawn side in the magnetotail. On the each side earthward and tailward, FA C occurrences are different; occurrence and average current density of FA Cs in the northern hemisphere are different from those in the southern hemisphere. This implies that the FACs have dusk-dawn side asymmetry, polarity asymmetry and inter hemisphere difference in the magnetotail. The present results give a good observation evidence for study on the FAC mechanism.

背景在肺隔离手术中，为了降低气道损伤的风险，有些麻醉医生选择的左侧双腔支气管导管（DLT）型号小于适合患者身材的型号（小一号）。迄今，尚无有关DLT型号对手术转归方面影响的资料。方法我们对300例需要行单肺隔离的成年胸科手术患者进行前瞻性队列研究，探讨与常规尽可能放置大号DLT的患者（由另外2位操作者实施）相比，无论性别和身高一律采用35号DLT（2位操作者实施）的患者，其手术中低氧血症、肺隔离失败或手术中DLT需要再次定位的发生率是否较低（非干预性检验）。在采用直视喉镜插入DLT和患者取侧卧位后，马上用纤维支气管镜对DLT位置进行确认。结果无论患者性别、身高如何，以及使用的是35、37还是39号DLT，其一过性低氧血症、肺隔离不完全或手术中需再次定位的总发生率并无差异。虽然使用35号DLT的频率很高，但仍有2％的患者因无法将DLT置入左主支气管或支气管套囊无需充气即可隔离单肺而换用小一号的DLT。结论本队列研究发现，小号DLT与常规型号DLT相比，手术中临床转归情况并无差异。

Rapid and Asymmetric Response of the Earth＇s Bow Shock： multipoint Observations

We analyze observations of three bow shock crossings which occurred during *** upstream data from STEREO A/*** and WIND,combined with multi-point THEmIS and Cluster data,and TC-1 data located near *** the crossing of 7 may *** find that following a rapid reduction in solar wind ram pressure and subsequent pressure pulse seen by ACE and WIND upstream,the bow shock responds asymmetrically from dawn to *** data on the dawn-side suggest the bow shock is significantly flared and responds rapidly to the pulse arrival,while TC-1 at noon,and THEmIS on the dusk-side,are well matched to the model bow shock,but show a delayed *** crossings observed on 21 may and 2 June show contrasting response matching the model boundary for northward Interplanetary magnetic Field(ImF).The ImF and solar wind plasma data suggest that,the bow shock crossing at dawn-dusk side and subsolar point were mainly caused by large and smaller scale features of the solar wind ram pressure rise rather than the influence of ImF.

本项研究确定了防止钛合金与其它活泼金属接触时发生电偶腐蚀,防止粘结,提高其表面硬度,减少摩擦磨损的脉冲微弧阳极氧化工艺。微弧阳极氧化在L(含硫化合物)、T(含磷化合物)及若干添加剂的混合电解液中进行。由脉冲电源供电。高压、高热的微弧使零件表面发生等离子体放电现象,形成2μm-15μm致密的、高绝缘的氧化膜层。具有抗腐蚀、防粘结的功能;同时,钛合金的表面硬度得到大幅度提高。
