A bibliometric review on the implications of renewable offshore marine energy development on marine species

The growing global demand for sustainable and environmentally friendly energy has stimulated the rapid adoption of renewable offshore ***,infrastructure needed for green energy production ironically impacts upon marine species and ***,this positional review paper seeks to comprehensively synthesise the prevailing body of knowledge on the impact of offshore energy development on a broad range of marine *** interpretivist philosophical stance and inductive reasoning was adopted using scientometric analysis to conduct a rich synthesis of extant *** an operational perspective,the Scopus database was utilised to search for key terms on the phenomena under investigation and using the VoS Viewer software for the identification of trends using scientometric *** analysis reveals that research in this area of science has increased significantly over the last decade but private sector involvement is conspicuous by its *** concerns among the research community include the impact of energy development on the abundance of species,pollution and biodiversity behaviour and *** present,researchers have extensively focused on the impact of offshore wind farms on fish and marine ***,the literature reveals no significant long-term impact upon energy development on most marine species albeit,short-term interference has raised concerns(from sound,disruption of navigation and foraging patterns,and damage of habitat).To minimise short term disruption,researchers have recommended the use of acoustic deterrence during construction,enforcement of protected areas and continued research.

The taxonomy of the Blue-crowned Laughingthrush(Garrulax courtoisi)and its relationship with the Yellowthroated Laughingthrush(***)and ***,a range-restricted subspecies in China,has not been fully *** the taxonomic status and system evolution of the three taxa ***,*** and *** need to be *** gene sequences myoglobin(MYO)and the mitochondrial cytochrome coxidase subunit I(COI)were combined to investigate the phylogenetic relationships among courtoisi,simaoensis and galbanus,genetic data,combining with morphological,ecological and acoustic data were used to comb out the classification status and divergence level of the three *** genetic and morphological differentiations(body size and plumage coloration)were detected between courtoisi and ***,no notable and reliable differences between the courtoisi and simaoensis were *** courtoisi,simaoensis and galbanus are clearly isolated in geographical distribution as a result of differing altitudes,climate conditions and *** courtoisi has characteristic preference for nest location compared with *** addition,the results of song analysis also indicated that there are differences in maximum frequency between courtoisi and *** was confirmed to be an independent species based on genetic,morphological,geographical,ecological and vocal characteristics,and the validity of simaoensis as a subspecies still need more *** study further confirmed the high conservation value of Blue-crowned *** addition,due to the genetic differences between Simao and Wuyuan populations,this should be fully considered in future protection strategies.

Advances in DNA sequencing technology have sparked a genomics revolution,driving breakthroughs in plant genetics and crop ***,the focus has shifted from cataloging genetic diversity in plants to exploring their functional significance and delivering beneficial alleles for crop *** transformation has been facilitated by the increasing adoption of whole-genome *** this review,we summarize the current progress of population-based genome resequencing studies and how these studies affect crop breeding.A total of 187 land plants from 163 countries have been resequenced,comprising 54413 *** part of resequencing efforts 367 traits have been surveyed and 86 genome-wide association studies have been *** important crops,particularly cereals,vegetables,and legumes,have dominated the resequencing efforts,leaving a gap in 49 orders,including Lycopodiales,Liliales,Acorales,Austrobaileyales,and *** resequenced germplasm is distributed across diverse geographic locations,providing a global perspective on plant *** highlight genes that have been selected during domestication,or associated with agronomic traits,and form a repository of candidate genes for future research and *** the opportunities for cross-species comparative genomics,many population genomic datasets are not accessible,impeding secondary *** call for a more open and collaborative approach to population genomics that promotes data sharing and encourages contribution-based credit *** number of plant genome resequencing studies will continue to rise with the decreasing DNA sequencing costs,coupled with advances in analysis and computational *** expansion,in terms of both scale and quality,holds promise for deeper insights into plant trait genetics and breeding design.

Chemical Reaction Route Selection Based on Green Chemical Engineering

In the preliminary stage of chemical process design, the choice of chemical reaction route is the key design decision, and the concepts of atom utilization and environmental quotient have become extremely useful tools. However, the waste quality such as chemical toxicity and other engineering factors have not been taken into account. Therefore, a synthetic route selection index, Iroute, is proposed to determine the suitability of a chemical route in this paper. Iroute considers the effects of 'extended atom economy', material renewability, chemical characteristics and some engineering factors. The extended atom economy concept regards not only the value of the desired product but also the value of byproducts. The methodology by using Iroute to compare different routes is illustrated in case study of cyclohexanone oxime and acrylonitrile manufacture.

Background:It is well known that stretch training can induce prolonged increases in joint range of motion(ROM).However,to date more information is needed regarding which training variables might have greater influence on improvements in ***,the purpose of this metaanalysis was to investigate the effects of stretch training on ROM in healthy participants by considering potential moderating variables,such as stretching technique,intensity,duration,frequency,and muscles stretched,as well as sex-specific,age-specific,and/or trained state-specific adaptations to stretch ***:We searched through PubMed,Scopus,Web of Science,and SportDiscus to find eligible studies and,finally,assessed the results from 77 studies and 186 effect sizes by applying a random-effect ***,by applying a mixed-effect model,we performed the respective subgroup *** find potential relationships between stretch duration or age and effect sizes,we performed a ***:We found a significant overall effect,indicating that stretch training can increase ROM with a moderate effect compared to the controls(effect size=-1.002;Z=-12.074;95%confidence interval:-1.165 to-0.840;p<0.001;I^(2)=74.97).Subgroup analysis showed a significant difference between the stretching techniques(p=0.01)indicating that proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and static stretching produced greater ROM than did ballistic/dynamic ***,there was a significant effect between the sexes(p=0.04),indicating that females showed higher gains in ROM compared to ***,further moderating analysis showed no significant relation or ***:When the goal is to maximize ROM in the long term,proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation or static stretching,rather than ballistic/dynamic stretching,should be *** to consider in future research as well as sports practice is that neither volume,intensity,nor frequency of stretching were

The realization of a mixed-phase microstructure in strained BiFeO_(3)(BFO)thin films has led to numerous novel effects derived from the coexistence of the tetragonal-like monoclinic phase(T phase)and rhombohedral-like monoclinic phase(R phase).Strong strain and polarization diiferences between the phases should result in a high level of transformation plasticity,which enables the continuous alteration of the relative proportion of R and T states in response to external *** the potential for utilizing such plasticity to control mixed-phase populations under external stimuli is evident,direct experi・mental evidence backed by equilibrium predictions has not yet been fully *** we demonstrate deterministic control of mixed-phase populations in an epitaxially strained BFO thin film through the application of localized stresses and electric fields in a reversible manne匚The results illustrate and rationalize deterministic control of mixed phases in strained BFO films,which could be crucial in tuning their functional *** findings also highlight a new multiparametric technique in the scanning probe lithography toolbox based on tip-assisted electric and strain field manipulation of functional properties that might find application beyond the ferroelectric domain and structural phase lithography.
