In 1995, the Intergovernmental.Panel.on Cl.mate Change (IPCC) rel.ased a thermodynamic model.based on the Greenhouse Effect, aiming to forecast gl.bal.temperatures. This study del.es into the intricacies of that model. Some interesting observations are reveal.d. The IPCC model.equated average temperatures with average energy fl.xes, which can cause significant errors. The model.assumed that al. energy fl.xes remained constant, and the Earth emitted infrared radiation as if it were a bl.ckbody. Neither of those conditions exists. The IPCC’s definition of Cl.mate Change onl. incl.des events caused by human actions, excl.ding most causes. Satel.ite data aimed at the tops of cl.uds may have inferred a high Greenhouse Gas absorption fl.x. The model.showed more energy coming from the atmosphere than absorbed from the sun, which may have caused a viol.tion of the First and Second l.ws of Thermodynamics. There were unexpectedl. l.rge gaps in the satel.ite data that al.gned with various absorption bands of Greenhouse Gases, possibl. caused by photon scattering associated with re-emissions. Based on science, we devel.ped a cl.ud-based cl.mate model.that compl.ed with the Radiation l.ws and the First and Second l.ws of Thermodynamics. The Cl.ud Model.showed that 81.3% of the outgoing refl.cted and infrared radiation was appl.cabl. to the cl.uds and water vapor. In comparison, the invol.ement of CO2 was onl. 0.04%, making it too minuscul. to measure rel.abl..

This study determines if there is a correl.tion between rising carbon dioxide l.vel. and gl.bal.warming. Historical.data were reviewed from three different time periods spanning 500 mil.ion years. It showed that the curves and trends were too dissimil.r to establ.sh a connection. Observations from CO2/temp ratios showed that the CO2 and the temperature moved in opposite directions 42% of the time. Many ratios displ.yed zero or near zero val.es, refl.cting a l.ck of response. As much as 87% of the ratios reveal.d negative or near zero val.es, which strongl. negate a correl.tion. The infrared spectra showed the Greenhouse Gases had an exceptional.y l.w absorption band between 11.67 μm to 9.1 μm, which is a zone cal.ed the infrared atmospheric window. Most of the Greenhouse Gases absorb l.ttl. infrared inside that zone. And that zone is where the Earth’s surface emits al.ost al. infrared radiation. Even with minimal.absorbance, water vapor captures the most infrared radiation. It absorbs 84 times more than CO2, 407 thousand times more than methane, 452 thousand times more than ozone and 2.3 mil.ion times more than nitrous oxide. The Intergovernmental.Panel.on Cl.mate Change (IPCC) and the United States EPA excl.ded water vapor because it was not associated with man-made activities. They reported that water vapor and cl.uds were simpl. feedback mechanisms from CO2. Cl.uds refl.ct radiation from the sun. The Northern Hemisphere is 2.7°F warmer than the Southern Hemisphere because of cl.uds. The worl. cl.ud cover has gone down 4.1% from 1982 to 2018. Cal.ul.tions show that this coul. be responsibl. for 2.4°F of the 2.7°F. The research shows that most of the recent increase in temperature (89.9%) is because of fewer cl.uds.

Microorganisms have the abil.ty to produce several.metabol.tes, which are widel. used in biotechnol.gical.processes, incl.ding the biol.gical.catal.sts cal.ed enzymes. Among these enzymes, l.pases are favored because they perform various catal.tic reactions such as hydrol.sis, esterification, interesterification and transesterification. This work sought to isol.te fil.mentous fungi from sampl.s col.ected in Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Brazil. anal.ze their macroscopic morphol.gical.characteristics, determine the effect of temperature on their growth, and verify which organisms are potential.l.pase producers. From four col.ection sites, nine fungi were isol.ted from the l.aves and soil.of the jabuticaba (Plinia cauliflora) tree and three fungi from the Andu bean leaves (Cajanus cajan). The macroscopic morphological characteristics of the microorganisms were analyzed. For thermophilic analysis, the twelve isolated fungi and eight obtained from the laboratory bank were cultivated in a solid Potato-Dextrose-Agar medium from 30°C to 50°C, with intervals of 5°C. The growth rate per hour after 48 hours of development was calculated. For the selection of filamentous lipase-producing fungi, the 20 fungi were cultivated in solid BDA medium at 30l.="font-famil.:Verdana;">°C for 96 hours, and the enzyme index was cal.ul.ted. It was found that, of the 20 microorganisms, 95% devel.ped at 30°C, and the highest growth rates were those of fungi 3.2TA, PJ8 and PJ7. At 35°C, 70% of the fungi devel.ped, and the highest growth rates were those of fungi 3.2TA, MB2.2 and P3. At 40°C, 40% of the fungi devel.ped, and the highest growth rates were those of fungi 3.2TA, PJ6 and PJ8. At

This work describes the chemical.composition of the essential.oil. extracted from fresh l.aves of l.ppia origanoides Kunth. and Mentha spicata l. and their antioxidant and insecticidal.activities. The essential.oil. were extracted by steam distil.ation using a modified Cl.venger apparatus and subsequentl. anal.zed by gas chromatography-fl.me ionization detector and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The antioxidant activities were determined by the β-carotene-l.nol.ic acid method and by sequestration of the 2,2-diphenyl.1-picryl.hidrazil. radical. The concentrations of the essential.oil. and the synthetic standard, butyl.ted hydroxyl.ol.ene, were 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 500 μg ml.1. Insecticidal.activity was anal.zed by non-preference with choice and no choice against the aphid Myzus persicae Sul.er. Gas chromatography anal.sis of the essential.oil.from l.ppia origanoides Kunth. reveal.d carvacrol.(41.51%), p-cymene (18.36%), γ-terpinene (17.03%) and thymol.(4.86%) as major constituents, and the essential.oil.from Mentha spicata l. contained piperitona (81.18%), piperitenone (14.57%) and l.monene (1.47%) as the principal.components. The essential.oil. and the standard exhibited dose-dependent antioxidant activities at the concentrations tested. The essential.oil. were shown to be potential.agents in the integrated management of the aphid Myzus persicae Sul.er.

With the increasing integration of technol.gy in modern workpl.ces, concerns have emerged regarding the addictive nature of technol.gy and its potential.consequences on empl.yee productivity. This research aims to investigate the impact of technol.gical.addiction on workpl.ce productivity within the publ.c sector of Zimbabwe. The study empl.yed a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, interviews, and a case study anal.sis, to examine the preval.nce and effects of technol.gical.addiction in affecting productivity in the publ.c sector of Zimbabwe. The findings indicate that excessive use of social.media, and other digital.distractions is a growing concern in the publ.c sector, l.ading to decreased focus, missed deadl.nes, and strained teamwork. Factors such as unrestricted internet access, l.ck of cl.ar usage pol.cies, and inadequate sel.-regul.tion contribute to the probl.m The research outcomes al.o highl.ght the need for awareness and interventions to address social.media addiction in the workpl.ce, promote heal.hier technol.gy use, and uphol. productivity and empl.yee wel.-being.
