Th. commercial viability of th.rmoelectric(TE)devices relies h.avily on two factors:cost reduction and efficiency *** th.s study,we first produce p-type Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(16-x)(x=0,3,4)using a low-temperature bottom-up approach.and demonstrate Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)to sh.w th. best TE performance among th. th.ee tested ***,th. TE energy conversion efficiency of Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)is furth.r enh.nced by optimizing its electronic band structure th.ough.th. incorporation of small amounts of *** an optimal Te content of 5 mol%,more th.n a twofold increase in th. TE figure of merit(zT)is *** gain insigh. into th. mech.nism of improvement on th. transport properties of th. mate-rial,we compare th. interph.se transport mech.nism by incorporating nanodomains of different metals(Ag and Cu)into th. Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)*** improved electrical conductivity obtained with.Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)-Te nanocomposites is attributed to a ch.rge flooding of th. Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)*** contrast,excessive down-ward band-bending at th. interph.ses of Ag/Cu metal-semiconductor drastically reduces th. electrical ***,a weigh.ed mobility(μw)analysis sh.ws a dominant th.rmal activation of carri-ers in Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)-Te *** th.s material,a strong decrease in lattice th.rmal conductivity is also found,wh.ch.is associated with.a ph.non-carrier scattering *** work sh.ws th. impor-tance of proper band-engineering in TE nanocomposites to decouple electrical and th.rmal transport to enh.nce TE performance,and th. efficacy ofμw for electrical and th.rmal transport analysis.

Perovskite solar cells h.ve sh.wn great potential in th. field of underwater solar cells due to th.ir excellent optoelectronic properties;h.wever,th.ir underwater performance and stability still h.nder th.ir practical *** th.s research.a 1h.1h.2h.2h.h.ptadecafluorodecyl acrylate(h.DA)anti-reflection coating(ARC)was introduced as a h.gh.transparent material for encapsulating perovskite solar modules(PSMs).Optical ch.racterization results revealed th.t h.DA can effectively reduce reflection of ligh. below 800 nm,aiding in th. absorption of ligh. with.n th.s wavelength.range by underwater solar ***,a remarkable efficiency of 14.65%was ach.eved even at a water depth.of 50 ***,th. concentration of Pb^(2+)for h.DA-encapsulated film is significantly reduced from 186 to 16.5 ppb after being immersed in water for 347 ***,th. encapsulated PSMs still remained above 80%of th.ir initial efficiency after continuous underwater illumination for 400 ***,being exposed to air,th. encapsulated PSMs maintained 94%of th.ir original efficiency after 1000 h.ligh. *** h.gh.y transparent ARC sh.ws great potentials in enh.ncing th. stability of perovskite devices,applicable not only to underwater cells but also extendable to land-based ph.tovoltaic devices.
