In this paper, we propose a hardware design for an effective real time indoor localization system for staff working in high-risk manufacturing areas. Because of the special requirements of our system, the chirp spread spectrum （CSS） is the most suitable indoor localization technology. The details of the new localization system are described. The system involves several anchors, tags, and a gateway, all of which use the nanoLOC TRX transceiver （NASTR1） RF chip （Nanotron Co., Germany）, which is based on the CSS technology. To validate the effectiveness of our system, both ranging and localization tests were carried out. The difference between the ranging accuracy indoors and outdoors was small. The localization system can position indoor mobile staffprecisely, enabling the establishment of an emergency rescue mechanism.

Caged bicyclic phosphate （CBP） and its dimelamine salt （PDS） were synthesized and added to epoxy resins to obtain the flame retarded epoxy resin composites. The flammability of the composites was characterized by the limiting oxygen index （LOI） and cone calorimeter tests. The LOI values of flame retarded composites increase consistently with the increase of flame retardant amounts, and they are almost the same when the loading of CBP is the same as that of PDS, although the phosphorus content of PDS is much lower than that of CBP. The total heat release increases in the order of CBP30/ER 〈 PDS30/ER 〈 PDS15/ER 〈 CBPI5/ER, whereas that of specific extinction area is CBP15/ER 〉 CBP30/ER 〉 PDS30/ER ≌ PDS15/ER. PDS exhibits more effective inhibition of oxidation of combustible gases. In the tests of thermogravimetric analyses （TG） and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FT-IR）, it is found that the degradation of the composites is influenced greatly by the addition of flame retardants. By scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, a thick and tight char-layer is observed for PDS30/ER, resulting from the interaction of nitrogen species with phosphorus species. Therefore, the combination of CBP with melamine in the flame retarded system can improve the flame retardancy greatly.

Recently, a bulk nickelate superconductor La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7) is discovered at pressures with a remarkable high transition temperature T_(c)~ 80 K. Here, we study a Hubbard model with tight-binding parameters derived from ab initio calculations of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7),by employing large scale determinant quantum Monte Carlo and cellular dynamical mean-field theory. Our result suggests that the superexchange couplings in this system are comparable to that of cuprates. The system is a charge transfer insulator as the hole concentration becomes four per site at large Hubbard U. Upon hole doping, two low-energy spin-singlet bands emerge in the system exhibiting distinct correlation properties: while the one composed of the out-of-plane Ni-d_(3z^(2)-r^(2)) and O-p_(z) orbitals demonstrates strong antiferromagnetic correlations and narrow effective bandwidth, the in-plane singlet band consisting of the Ni-d_(x^(2)-y^(2)) and O-p_(x)/p_(y) orbitals is in general more itinerant. Over a broad range of hole doping, the doped holes occupy primarily the d_(x^(2)-y^(2)) and p_(x)/p_(y) orbitals, whereas the d_(3z^(2)-r^(2)) and p_(z) orbitals retain underdoped. We propose an effective t-J model to capture the relevant physics and discuss the implications of our result for comprehending the La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7) superconductivity.

In the ironmaking process,the addition of an organic binder to replace a portion of bentonite has the potential to improve the per-formance of *** interaction between original bentonite(OB)and organic binder was *** indicated that the micromor-phology of organic composite bentonite(OCB)became porous and the infrared difference spectrum exhibited a curved *** addition,the residual burning rates of OB and organic binder were determined to be 82.72%and 2.30%,***,the influence of OCB on the properties of pellets was *** compressive strength of OCB-added green pellets(14.7 N per pellet)was better than that of OB-ad-ded pellets(10.3 N per pellet).Moreover,the range of melting temperature of OCB-added green pellets(173℃)was narrower than that of OB-added pellets(198℃).The compressive strength of OCB-added green pellets increased from 2156 to 3156 N per pellet with the increase in roasting temperature from 1200 to 1250℃.

Through investigating and comparing the fatigue behavior of an as-rolled Mg–3.08Zn–0.83Al(in wt.%)alloy performing surface phosphate conversion film treatment,it revealed that the determined fatigue strength of surface treated samples at 106 cycles in air was 65 MPa,whereas the fatigue strength was only 35 MPa when tested in 3.5 wt.%NaCl *** analysis demonstrated that in air,the fatigue crack initiation was mainly dominated by the interaction between the retarding effect of phosphate conversion film on cyclic slips occurring in the underneath *** the matrix cannot endure the accumulated stress concentration due to the irreversibility of cyclic slips,the fatigue crack will preferentially initiate at sample *** the phosphate conversion film cracked easily under the cyclic loading and lost its protectiveness on the substrate in 3.5 wt.%NaCl solution,fatigue cracks were preferentially nucleated at the localized corrosion pits.

Obstructive azoospermia （OA） is one of the most common causes of male infertility. Transrectal ultrasound （TRUS） has been used to diagnose OA for many years. From 2009 to 2013, we evaluated a prospective cohort of 1249 patients with suspected OA using TRUS. It was found that dilation of the ejaculatory duct （ED）（29.9%, 374/1249） was the most common cause of OA, followed by seminal vesicle （SV） abnormalities （28.5%, 356/1249）. A total of 237 patients were diagnosed with congenital defects （agenesis and/or hypoplasia） of the SV, constituting more than half of the cases of SV disease in OA （19.0%, 237/1249）. In contrast to ED, congenital defects of the SV could not be corrected with surgical treatment. Therefore, it is meaningful to compare TRUS and magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） for accurate diagnosis of SV defects. Among our patients, 30 with agenesis or/and hypoplasia of the SV on TRUS were further evaluated using pelvic MRI within 2 years, with the objective of verifying the TRUS results. The concordance rate for diagnosing congenital defects of the SV was 73.3% （22/30）. We concluded that TRUS is a reliable and convenient method for diagnosing agenesis or hypoplasia of the SV in OA patients with a high concordance with MRI while MRI is useful in patients with inconclusive TRUS findings.

Thermal-induced transformation of wetting behaviors on laser-textured silicon carbide （SIC） surfaces was discussed in this work. To investigate the transformation, a quenching experiment was conducted and an X-ray diffractometer was used to measure the residual stress. The experimental results demonstrate that the significantly enhanced hydrophilicity was induced by the increasing thermal residual stress of SiC materials after the aqueous quenching. It was found that the decrease in the contact angle increased with the increasing quenching temperature. Quenching at 350℃ led to the change of contact angle from 89.28° to 70.88° for the smooth surface, while from 72.25° to 33.75° for the laser-textured surface with depth 8 μm. Further, the surface hydrophobicity was enhanced by the release of thermal residual stress after quenching, thereby leading to an increase in the contact angle over time. The transformation of wetting behaviors on laser textured SiC surfaces can be achieved mutually by the aqueous quenching method.

A series of novel steel-Ti(C,N)composites was fabricated by spark plasma sintering(SPS)and subsequent heat *** hardness,indentation fracture resistance,and wear behaviour of the steel-Ti(C,N)composites were compared with those of the unreinforced samples,and their potentials were assessed by comparison with traditional cermet/hardmetal *** results showed that with the addi-tion of 20wt%Ti(C,N),the wear rates of the newly examined composites reduced by a factor of about 2 to 4 and were comparable to those of cermets and *** martensitic transformation of the steel matrix and the formation of in situ carbides induced by heat treatment en-hanced the wear *** the presence of excessive in situ carbides improved the hardness,the low indentation fracture resistance(IFR)value resulted in brittle fracture,which in turn resulted in poor wear ***,the operative wear mechanisms were *** study provides a practical and cost-effective approach to prepare steel-Ti(C,N)composites as potential wear-resistant materials.
