Purpose The aim of the study was to establish the optimum variable resistance(VR)intensity for loaded countermovement jump(LCMJ)to induce post-activation potentiation(PAP).Methods Eleven male athletes(age 23±2.3 years,height 1.77±0.05 m,body mass 73.7±9.0 kg)attended one familiariza-tion and four testing *** performed their own pre-competition warm up before performing two countermove-ment jumps(CMJ)for baseline ***,they performed 2×3 unloaded(UCMJ)or loaded CMJ(LCMJ)with one of the three VR intensities,Orange(6.7±0.6 kg),Red(14.0±0.9 kg)and Blue(24.0±1.4 kg),in random order,before performing two more CMJ for post-test *** testing session was separated by at least 48 *** There was significant increase in jump height in all conditions(P0.05).There were small to moderate effect when comparing Orange and the other *** force and velocity increased in Red(P<0.05)and Orange(P<0.05),*** in jump height was significantly correlated to change in peak velocity(r=0.46,P=0.002)and peak power(r=0.46,P=0.002).Conclusion The findings of the study showed that UCMJ and LCMJ were effective in improving jump height acutely,and an intensity level of about 10%body weight contributed by VR seems to be the optimum resistance level.

Objective:Astragalus Radix(AR,Huangqi in Chinese) has been widely used as a qi(energy) restoring herb that is thought to act through reinvigorating the spleen and *** is used to rebalance the body temperature during illness and played an irreplaceable role in disease control since ancient times,but it is limited by its strong neuro and *** the Song Dynasty(1227),the two herbs have been commonly used as herbal pairs including in the famous Qifu Decotion,from the "Wei's Family Prescription".However,many ancient texts also record that they are not compatible using together,suggesting they can have negative outcomes when *** study investigated whether Astragali Radix had either positive or negative effects on absorption of six different active alkaloids derived from ***:Single intestinal perfusion model was used to study the effects of Astragali Radix on aconite alkaloids *** of ABC transporters and distribution of three tight junction proteins on the surface of intestinal enothelium were assessed by Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction(RT-PCR),Western blot and immunofluorescence microscopy,***:The results showed that aconite alkaloids absorption could be inhibited,and different concentrations of Astragali Radix considerably increased the expression levels of the ABC transporters and tight junction proteins with Astragali Radix ***:These results suggest that Astragali Radix can block absorption of aconite alkaloids through the upregulation expression of ATP-binding cassette transporters(ABC transporters) and tight junction *** demonstrates that co-administration of Astragali Radix with other drugs might change the absorption profile of the second drug which is important to know in clinic therapy.

Background： Morphological changes of the vasculature system in patients with myopia have been observed by Doppler ultrasound and fundus fluorescein angiography （FFA）; however, these studies have limitations. Doppler ultrasound provides low-resolution images which are mainly obtained from visualized large vessels, and FFA is an invasive examination. Optic coherence tomography （OCT） angiography is a noninvasive, high-resolution measurement for vascular density. The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of vascular density in myopic eyes using OCT angiography. Methods： This cross-sectional study includes a total of 91 eyes ~Yom 47 participants including control, moderate, and high myopia that were evaluated by OCT angiography. Patients with myopia were recruited from the Refractive Department, Shenzhen Aier Eye Hospital, from August 5, 2015 to April 1, 2016. Emmetropic eyes were from healthy volunteers. The vascular density at macula and optic disc regions, ganglion cell complex （GCC） thickness, and retinal nerve fiber layer （RNFL） thickness were measured. Their relationships with axial length （AL） and refractive error were analyzed. One-way analysis of variance （ANOVA）, Pearson＇s correlation, and generalized estimating equation were used for statistical analysis, Results： Both superficial and deep macular vascular density were highest in control （25.64% ± 3.76% and 37.12% ± 3.66%, respectively）, then in moderate myopia （21.15% ± 5.33% and 35.35% ± 5.50%, respectively）, and lowest in high myopia group （ 19.64% ± 3.87% and 32.81% ± 6.29%, respectively）（F =13.74 and 4.57, respectively; both P 〈 0.001）. Both superficial （β = -0.850 and 0.460, respectively） and deep （β = -0.766 and 0.396, respectively） macular vascular density were associated with AL and spherical equivalent （all P 〈 0.001 ）.
