Minimal observability of Boolean networks

In this study, the minimum observability of Boolean networks(BNs) is investigated by using the semi-tensor product(STP) of matrices. First, a new system based on the considered BN is obtained to analyze states pair dynamic trajectories, from which a necessary and sufficient condition for the observability of BNs is determined. Second, adding a new observer improves the observability without affecting the observable states. Thus, an algorithm is presented to design an observer for an unobservable BN. In addition, a necessary condition is obtained to determine the minimum number of nodes required to be directly measurable. Further,an algorithm to address the minimal observability is presented. Finally, examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

Nonsingularity of Grain-like cascade FSRs via semi-tensor product

In this paper, Grain-like cascade feedback shift registers(FSRs) are regarded as two Boolean networks(BNs), and the semi-tensor product(STP) of the matrices is used to convert the Grain-like cascade FSRs into an equivalent linear equation. Based on the STP, a novel method is proposed herein to investigate the nonsingularity of Grain-like cascade FSRs. First, we investigate the property of the state transition matrix of Grain-like cascade FSRs. we then propose their sufficient and necessary nonsingularity condition. Next,we regard the Grain-like cascade FSRs as Boolean control networks(BcNs) and further provide a sufficient condition of their nonsingularity. Finally, two examples are provided to illustrate the results obtained in this paper.

In this paper,the problem of robust filtering for a class of uncertain discrete-time stochastic systems under randomly varying distributed sensor delay is reconsidered.A new and efficient method for robust filter design is introduced to achieve some performance requirements,that is,the error state of filtering process is mean square bounded and the steady-state variance of the estimation error for each state is less than the individual prescribed upper *** from the previous method which involves a two-step design procedure with algebraic Riccati-like inequalities and linear constraint,it is shown that this problem can be directly converted to the feasibility of some linear matrix ***,the inequality used for handling the parameter uncertainty in the previous literature is no required which reduces the conservatism of the obtained *** example is carried out to illustrate the effectiveness of the method and the improvement over the existing result in the literature.

＜正＞In the first part of this paper, a wavelet-based neural network （wNN） is described for approximating arbitrary nonlinear functions. In the second part of this paper, a training and pruning algorithm is proposed for training and determining the size of the wNN. The wNN is applied to system identification in simulation and the effectiveness of the proposed wNN and the training and pruning algorithm is demonstrated.

Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy models have provided an approach to transform complex nonlinear systems to a set of linear sub-models by using fuzzy IF-THEN rules. In this paper, a general class of stochastic fuzzy hopfield neural networks with time delays (SFDHNN) is studied. The model of SFDHNN is firstly established as a modified TS fuzzy model in which the consequent parts are a set of stochastic hopfield neural networks with time delays. Secondly, the global exponential stability in the mean square of SFDHNN is discussed by employing the Lyapunov-Krasovskii approach. Some novel stability criteria are derived for SFDHNN. The sufficient conditions are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be solved effectively by standard numerical packages. Therefore, the stability of SFDHNN can be easily checked.

＜正＞This paper addresses robust H ∞ control problem for nonlinear systems with matched parameter uncertainty. The necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of global strong robust H ∞ dynamic compensators and static state feedback controllers are obtained based on nonlinear matrix inequality （NLMI） approach. It reduces a robust H ∞ control problems to a standard H ∞ problem for an auxiliary nonlinear systems.

本文研究脉冲动态网络的指数同步问题。考虑了两种脉冲类型:同步性(synchronizing)脉冲和失步性(desynchronizing)脉冲。已有的研究结果均是对这两种脉冲分别进行讨论,那么自然就有这样的一个问题:是否存在对这两种脉冲都适用的统一的同步标准?本文将对这一问题进行仔细分析,提出一个新的"平均脉冲区间"的概念,并给出了一个有向脉冲动态网络的统一的同步标准。理论分析和数值模拟均说明了本文的结果具有更低的保守性。另外,通过无尺度和小世界脉冲网络的仿真算例说明了该标准对大规模网络的有效性。

As the population ages,the burden of age-related diseases becomes ***,over 55 million people suffer from dementia worldwide,with Alzheimer’s disease being the most common ***,it is becoming clearer that underlying vascular pathology such as cerebral small vessel disease(cSVD)may be a more detrimental cause for dementia(cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).It is estimated that 10%-30%of the elderly population and 35%-90%of all dementia patients exhibit signs of *** term cSVD refers to pathology affecting the small vessels of the brain,which can lead to lacunar cerebral infarcts,enlarged perivascular spaces,and cortical hemorrhages(cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).cSVD is often associated with cognitive decline,gait problems,and dementia(cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).
