Efficacy and safety of over-the-scope-clips in the therapy of acute nonvariceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding:Meta-analysis

BACKGROUND Acute nonvariceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding(ANVUGIB)is a frequent lifethreatening acute condition in gastroenterology associated with high morbidity and ***-the-scope-clip(OTSC)is a new endoscopic hemostasis technique,which is being used in ANVUGIB and is more *** To summarize and analyze the effects of the OTSC in prevention of recurrent bleeding,clinical success rate,procedure time,hospital stay,and adverse events in the treatment of ANVUGIB,to evaluate whether OTSC can replace standard endoscopic therapy as a new generation of treatment for *** The literature related to OTSC and standard therapy for ANVUGIB published before January 2023 was searched in PubMed,Web of Science,EMBASE,Cochrane,Google,and CNKI *** in recurrent bleeding(7 or 30 days),clinical results(clinical success rate,conversion rate to surgery,mortality),therapy time(procedure time,hospital stay),and adverse events in the OTSC intervention group were summarized and analyzed,and the MD or OR of 95%CI is calculated by Review Manager *** This meta-analysis involved 11 studies with 1266 *** risk of bias was *** patients in the OTSC group,7-and 30-days recurrent bleeding rates,as well as procedure time,hospital stay,and intensive care unit stay,were greatly *** could significantly improve the clinical success rate of *** therapy did not cause serious adverse and was effective in reducing patient *** OTSC may provide more rapid and sustained hemostasis,and thus,promote recovery and reduce mortality in patients with *** addition,the safety of OTSC is assured.

政府规制、商业信用制度与国有企业竞争力——基于“清欠工作”的准自然实验

借助于“清欠工作”的准自然实验,本文研究政府规制的商业信用制度对国有企业竞争力的影响及其作用机制。研究发现,政府规制的国有企业商业信用按期付款促进了其竞争力的提升。机制检验表明,政府规制的商业信用制度不仅能够重塑国有企业商业信用的秩序,减少国有企业的账款拖欠,保障供应商的有效回款,而且能够增强供应商对于国有企业商业信用按期还款的信任,减少供应商回收账款的资源耗散。这强化了国有企业对于供应商的吸引力,增加了供应商对国有企业客户的争夺,进而增强了国有企业的原材料议价能力,最终促进了国有企业竞争力的提升。异质性检验表明,“清欠工作”的执行强度越大、供应商转换客户去参与争夺国有企业客户的机会越大,政府规制的商业信用制度对国有企业竞争力提升作用越强,进一步验证了本文的逻辑。本文在理论上扩展了商业信用的相关研究,为中国企业在竞争中使用信用条款和价格条款的替代效应提供了直接的证据;在实践上验证了治理账款拖欠政策的实施效果。

Accuracy comparison and improvement for state of health estimation of lithium-ion battery based on random partial recharges and feature engineering

State of health(SOH)estimation of e-mobilities operated in real and dynamic conditions is essential and *** of existing estimations are based on a fixed constant current charging and discharging aging profiles,which overlooked the fact that the charging and discharging profiles are random and not complete in real *** work investigates the influence of feature engineering on the accuracy of different machine learning(ML)-based SOH estimations acting on different recharging sub-profiles where a realistic battery mission profile is *** features were extracted from the battery partial recharging profiles,considering different factors such as starting voltage values,charge amount,and charging sliding ***,features were selected based on a feature selection pipeline consisting of filtering and supervised ML-based subset *** linear regression(MLR),Gaussian process regression(GPR),and support vector regression(SVR)were applied to estimate SOH,and root mean square error(RMSE)was used to evaluate and compare the estimation *** results showed that the feature selection pipeline can improve SOH estimation accuracy by 55.05%,2.57%,and 2.82%for MLR,GPR and SVR *** was demonstrated that the estimation based on partial charging profiles with lower starting voltage,large charge,and large sliding window size is more likely to achieve higher *** work hopes to give some insights into the supervised ML-based feature engineering acting on random partial recharges on SOH estimation performance and tries to fill the gap of effective SOH estimation between theoretical study and real dynamic application.

Instance co-segmentation aims to segment the co-occurrent instances among two *** task heavily relies on instance-related cues provided by co-peaks,which are generally estimated by exhaustively exploiting all paired candidates in point-to-point ***,such patterns could yield a high number of false-positive co-peaks,resulting in over-segmentation whenever there are mutual *** tackle with this issue,this paper proposes an instance co-segmentation method via tensor-based salient co-peak search(TSCPS-ICS).The proposed method explores high-order correlations via triple-to-triple matching among feature maps to find reliable co-peaks with the help of co-saliency *** proposed method is shown to capture more accurate intra-peaks and inter-peaks among feature maps,reducing the false-positive rate of co-peak *** having accurate co-peaks,one can efficiently infer responses of the targeted *** on four benchmark datasets validate the superior performance of the proposed method.

Versatile zeolite overlayer on ZnO film enabling high-performance bilayer NO_(2) sensoring

Bilayer structure with functional overlayer has been commonly adopted to resolve the issue of moisture poisoning in ***,the conventional overlayers always suffer from blocking access of gas molecules to sensing layer due to lacking porosity and deteriorated adsorption ***,taking advantages of the well-defined porous structure and hydrophobic nature of pure silica zeolite,we assembled an overlayer of Pd-PdO clusters-encapsulated mesoporous silicalite-1(MFI)zeolite(named M-S-1)on ZnO sensing layer,to prevent moisture poisoning,and enhance gas diffusion and adsorption *** inherent capability of MFI zeolite to incorporate monodispersed nanometric(ca.3 nm)Pd-PdO cluster in its void space is of great importance for the NO_(2) *** Pd-PdO@M-S-1 overlayer can attain negligible moisture interference to the ZnO layer without significantly altering the gas selectivity and baseline resistance,and enhance gas ***,the Pd-PdO@M-S-1/ZnO bilayer sensor can ultra-selectively(S_(nitrogen dioxide)/S_(interference gas)>4),and ultra-stably detect trace level of NO_(2)(9.5 ppb)at low temperature(370 K)under high levels of humidity(90%RH).This work exemplifies a next-generation solution to design bilayer sensors using zeolite overlayer for eliminating the humidity dependence of the gas-sensing properties.

Data-driven diagnosis of high temperature PEM fuel cells based on the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy: Robustness improvement and evaluation

Utilizing machine learning techniques for data-driven diagnosis of high temperature PEM fuel cells is beneficial and meaningful to the system durability. Nevertheless, ensuring the robustness of diagnosis remains a critical and challenging task in real application. To enhance the robustness of diagnosis and achieve a more thorough evaluation of diagnostic performance, a robust diagnostic procedure based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and a new method for evaluation of the diagnosis robustness was proposed and investigated in this work. To improve the diagnosis robustness: (1) the degradation mechanism of different faults in the high temperature PEM fuel cell was first analyzed via the distribution of relaxation time of EIS to determine the equivalent circuit model (ECM) with better interpretability, simplicity and accuracy;(2) the feature extraction was implemented on the identified parameters of the ECM and extra attention was paid to distinguishing between the long-term normal degradation and other faults;(3) a Siamese Network was adopted to get features with higher robustness in a new embedding. The diagnosis was conducted using 6 classic classification algorithms—support vector machine (SVM), K-nearest neighbor (KNN), logistic regression (LR), decision tree (DT), random forest (RF), and Naive Bayes employing a dataset comprising a total of 1935 collected EIS. To evaluate the robustness of trained models: (1) different levels of errors were added to the features for performance evaluation;(2) a robustness coefficient (Roubust_C) was defined for a quantified and explicit evaluation of the diagnosis robustness. The diagnostic models employing the proposed feature extraction method can not only achieve the higher performance of around 100% but also higher robustness for diagnosis models. The Pearl River Delta(PRD),a tornado hotspot,forms a distinct trumpet-shaped coastline that concaves toward the South China *** the summer monsoon season,low-level southwesterlies over the PRD’s sea surface tend to be turned toward the west coast,constituting a convergent wind field along with the landward-side southwesterlies,which influences regional convective *** two-part study explores the roles of this unique land–sea contrast of the trumpet-shaped coastline in the formation of a tornadic mesovortex within monsoonal flows in this *** I primarily presents observational analyses of pre-storm environments and storm *** rotating storm developed in a lowshear environment(not ideal for a supercell)under the interactions of three air masses under the influence of the land–sea contrast,monsoon,and storm cold *** intersection zone(or“triple point”)is typically characterized by local enhancements of ambient vertical vorticity and *** on a rapid-scan X-band phased-array radar,finger-like echoes were recognized shortly after the gust front intruded on the triple *** over the triple point,they rapidly wrapped up with a well-defined low-level *** is thus presumed that the triple point may have played roles in the mesovortex genesis,which will be demonstrated in Part II with multiple sensitivity numerical *** findings also suggest that when storms pass over the boundary intersection zone in the PRD,the expected possibility of a rotating storm occurring is relatively high,even in a low-shear *** knowledge of such environments provides additional guidance to assess the regional tornado risk.

Flexible regulation engineering of titanium nitride nanofibrous membranes for efficient electromagnetic microwave absorption in wide temperature spectrum

Simultaneous development of well impedance matching and strong loss capability has become a mainstream method for achieving outstanding electromagnetic microwave absorption(EMWA)performances over wide temperature ***,it is difficult to pursue both due to the mutual restraint of relationship between impedance matching and loss capability about ***,we propose a flexible regulation engineering of titanium nitride(TiN)nanofibrous membranes(NMs,TNMs),which could be distributed uniformly in the polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)matrix and contributed to the formation of abundant local conductive networks,generating the local conductive loss and enhancing the loss ability of ***,when the TNMs are used as functional units and dispersed in the matrix,the corresponding composites exhibit an outstanding anti-reflection effect on *** hoped,under the precondition of good impedance matching,local conductive loss and polarization loss together improve the loss capacity at room temperature,and polarization loss can compensate the local conductive loss to acquire effective dielectric response at elevated *** from the reasonably synergistic loss ability caused by flexible regulation engineering,the corresponding composites exhibit the perfect EMWA performances in a wide temperature range from 298 to 573 *** work not only elaborates the ponderable insights of independent membrane in the composition-structure-function connection,but also provides a feasible tactic for resolving coexistence of well impedance matching and strong loss capability issues in wide temperature spectrum.
