The edge-graphitized carbon nitride(C_(3)N_(4)-C g)was prepared by secondary pyrolysis to construct ZnO/C_(3)N_(4)-C g(ZCN)type-Ⅱheterojunction photocatalyst via a facile sonication dispersion method,which achieved∼7.04-fold and∼18.3-fold enhanced visible-light-driven photocatalytic performance for refrac-tory micropollutant removal and simultaneous hydrogen(H_(2))evolution respectively compared to con-ventional ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)Step-scheme *** apparent quantum efficiency of the ZCN_(0.4)het-erojunction reaches 0.92%(λ=420 nm).Such excellent performance stems from that the edge-graphene moieties stitched onto the interface of heterojunction extend light absorption to the full visible spec-trum,meanwhile,the built-in electric field generated during Fermi level alignment accompanying fa-vorable band-bending structure provides an effective pathway for the rapid migration of photoinduced electrons via the edge graphene channel to improve interfacial charge separation ***,the midgap states introduced in ZCN heterojunction could temporarily retain photoexcited electrons to effectively inhibit the in situ carrier recombination for improved photocatalytic H_(2)***,ZCN/peroxymonosulfate system exhibited excellent anti-interference performance against complex water bodies under visible illumination due to the synergistic effect between the co-existing anions and organic ***,the eco-friendly nature of the ZCN/peroxymonosulfate system showed no biotoxicity of reaction filtrate on cell proliferation after treatment,which avoided secondary ***-ering the outstanding performance in photocatalysis,the ZCN system exhibits broad potential for practical applications in water pollution control and green energy production.

In nature, aflatoxins, especially aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), are the common mycotoxins, which cause serious health problems for humans and animals. This paper aimed to study the effects of AFB1 on flesh flavor and muscle development of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) and its mechanism. There were 1440 individual fish in total, with 6 treatments and each treatment replicated 3 times. The 6 treatments were fed a control diet with different doses of AFB1 (0.04, 29.48, 58.66, 85.94, 110.43 and 146.92 mu g/kg diet) for 60 d. AFB1 increased myofiber diameter, as well as decreased myofiber density of grass carp muscle (P decreased gradually (P dehyde and protein carbonyl (PC) were increased (P dant enzyme (glutathione peroxidase, glutathione, glutathione reductase, total antioxidant capacity, anti-superoxide anion, and anti-hydroxyl radical) were decreased (P decreased the content of collagen, and downregulated the mRNA and protein levels of transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta)/Smads signaling pathway in grass carp muscle (P < 0.05). The mRNA and protein levels of myogenic regulatory factors were downregulated in grass carp muscle (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the activities of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) were increased (P < 0.05), and the protein levels of phosphorylate-38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p-p38MAPK), phosphorylate-c-Jun N-terminal kinase, urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA), MMP-2 and MMP-9 were upregulated (P < 0.05), but collagen I, laminin beta 1 and fibronectin were downregulated (P < 0.05) with the dietary AFB1 increased in the muscle of grass carp. 03-type layered metal oxides hold great promise for sodium-ion batteries cathodes owing to their energy density ***,the severe irreversible phase transition and sluggish Na^(+)diffusion kinetics pose significant challenges to achieve high-performance layered ***,a boron-doped03-type high entropy oxide Na(Fe_(0.2)Co_(0.15)Cu_(0.05)Ni_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)Ti_(0.2))B_(0.02)O_(2)(NFCCNMT-B_(0.02))is designed and the covalent B-O bonds with high entropy configuration ensure a robust layered *** obtained cathode NFCCNMT-B_(0.02)exhibits impressive cycling performance(capacity retention of 95%and 82%after100 cycles and 300 cycles at 1 and 10 C,respectively)and outstanding rate capability(capacity of 83 mAh g^(-1)at 10 C).Furthermore,the NFCCNMT-B_(0.02)demonstrates a superior wide-temperature performance,maintaining the same capacity level(113,4 mAh g^(-1)@-20℃,121 mAh g^(-1)@25℃,and 119 mAh g^(-1)@60℃)and superior cycle stability(90%capacity retention after 100 cycles at 1 C at-20℃).The high-entropy configuration design with boron doping strategy contributes to the excellent sodium-ion storage *** high-entropy configuration design effectively suppresses irreversible phase transitions accompanied by small volume changes(ΔV=0.65 A3).B ions doping expands the Na layer distance and enlarges the P3 phase region,thereby enhancing Na^(+)diffusion *** work offers valuable insights into design of high-performance layered cathodes for sodium-ion batteries operating across a wide temperature.

Structure, variation and assembly processes of bacterial communities in different root-associated niches of tomato under periodic drought and nitrogen addition

Root-associated bacteria play a vital role in the growth and adaptation of host plants to drought stress. These bacteria can be classified as rhizoplane and rhizosphere bacteria based on their distance from the root surface. Tomato plants are often exposed to periodic drought and nitrogen (N) addition throughout their life cycle, but the impacts of these factors on the plant and root-associated bacteria are not well understood. To gain insight into this relationship, we conducted an experiment to monitor the effects of periodic drought and N addition on rhizoplane and rhizosphere bacteria of tomato plants. Drought and N addition had interactive effects on plant and soil properties, which varied with the timing of drought. There were clear divergences in community traits such as alpha diversity, beta diversity, and network topological features between the two types of bacteria. The rhizoplane bacteria showed lower alpha diversity but higher beta diversity and were more sensitive to drought and N addition than the rhizosphere bacteria. Nitrogen addition could downsize the effects of drought on rhizoplane bacterial community compositions. The higher proximity to the root might induce a community to develop more cooperation between different members to cope with plant metabolites, as revealed by the more connected and modularized community network of the rhizoplane bacteria. Drought at the seedling stage had great legacy effects on plant and soil properties. It may enhance selection, cause the dominance of deterministic processes in the assembly of rhizoplane bacteria, and reduce bacterial community network complexity. In conclusion, N addition could interact with drought in affecting tomato plants and their root-associated bacteria, depending on the timing of drought and the fineness of root niches. The higher sensitivity of rhizoplane bacteria to drought and N addition calls for more research due to their higher proximity and importance to plants in future environment

Membrane technology has become one of the most promising separation technologies for its energy saving, high separation efficiency, environmental friendliness, and economic feasibility. Covalent organic frameworks(COFs) with intrinsically high porosity, controllable pore size, uniform pore size distribution and long-range ordered channel structure, have emerged as next-generation materials to fabricate advanced separation membranes. This feature article summarizes some latest studies in the development of pure COF membranes in our lab, including their fabrication and applications in chemical separations. Finally, current challenges facing high-performance COF separation membranes are discussed.

It is important to improve the comprehensive performance of the ductile iron bars(DIBs)for the cylinder block of the extra high pressure hydraulic plunger pump and accelerate the industrial *** this work,the LZQT600-3 DIBs with the diameter of 145 mm were prepared by the horizontal continuous casting(HCC)process,that is,LZQT600-3 *** microstructure and room temperature tensile properties of different sections[left-edge(surface layer),left-1/2R(left half of the radius),and the center of the HCCDIBs]were *** results show that the spheroidization of LZQT600-3 HCCDIBs matrix from the left-edge,left-1/2R to the center is at nodulizing grade II and *** the cooling rate gradually decreases from surface to the center of the HCCIBs,the number of spheroidized graphite is gradually reduced,the size is gradually increased,the shape factor is decreased,and the pearlite content and lamellate spacing are *** the horizontal direction of the section,the hardness of the material is distributed symmetrically around the center of the *** the vertical direction,the hardness distribution in the center of the HCCDIBs is asymmetrical due to the gravity during the solidification ***,the microstructure in the lower part of the section solidifies relatively *** left-edge has the best tensile mechanical properties,and the ultimate tensile strength,yield tensile strength and elongation are 597.3 MPa,418.5 MPa and 9.6%,*** tensile fracture belongs to the ductile-brittle hybrid *** comprehensive performances of LZQT600-3 HCCDIBs meet the actual application requirements of ultra-high pressure hydraulic plunger pump cylinder.
