metal-organic framework(mOF)and covalent organic framework(COF)are a huge group of advanced porous materials exhibiting attractive and tunable microstructural features,such as large surface area,tunable pore size,and functional surfaces,which have significant values in various application *** emerging 3D printing technology further provides mOF and COFs(m/COFs)with higher designability of their macrostructure and demonstrates large achievements in their performance by shaping them into advanced 3D ***,the currently available 3D printing m/COFs strategy faces a major challenge of severe destruction of m/COFs’microstructural features,both during and after 3D *** is envisioned that preserving the microstructure of m/COFs in the 3D-printed monolith will bring a great improvement to the related *** this overview,the 3D-printed m/COFs are categorized into m/COF-mixed monoliths and m/COF-covered *** differences in the properties,applications,and current research states are *** up-to-date advancements in paste/scaffold composition and printing/covering methods to preserve the superior m/COF microstructure during 3D printing are further discussed for the two types of 3D-printed m/*** the analysis of the current states of 3D-printed m/COFs,the expected future research direction to achieve a highly preserved microstructure in the 3D monolith is proposed.

In insects,the odorant receptor(OR)multigene family evolves by the birth-and-death evolutionary model,according to which the OR repertoire of each species has undergone specific gene gains and losses depending on their chemical environment,resulting in taxon-specific OR lineage radiations with different sizes in the phylogenetic *** the general divergence in the gene family across different insect orders,the ORs in moths seem to be genetically conserved across species,clustered into 23 major clades containing multiple orthologous groups with single-copy gene from each *** hypothesized that ORs in these orthologous groups are tuned to ecologically important compounds and functionally ***-Jasmone is one of the compounds that not only primes the plant defense of neighboring receiver plants,but also functions as a behavior regulator to various *** test our hypothesis,using Xenopus oocyte recordings,we functionally assayed the orthologues of BmorOR56,which has been characterized as a specific receptor for *** results showed highly conserved response specificity of the BmorOR56 orthologues,with all receptors within this group exclusively responding to *** is supported by the dN/dS analysis,showing that strong purifying selection is acting on this ***,molecular docking showed that the ligand binding pockets of BmorOR56 orthologues to cis-jasmone are *** together,our results suggest the high conservation of OR for ecologically important compounds across Heterocera.

We present the first numerical solution that corresponds to a pair of Cho–maison monopoles and antimonopoles(mAPs) in the SU(2) × U(1) Weinberg–Salam(WS) *** monopoles are finitely separated,while each pole carries a magnetic charge ±4π/*** positive pole is situated in the upper hemisphere,whereas the negative pole is in the lower *** Cho–maison mAP is investigated for a range of Weinberg angles,0.4675≤ tan θ_(W)≤10,and Higgs self-coupling,0 ≤ β ≤ *** magnetic dipole moment(μm) and pole separation(d_(z)) of the numerical solutions are calculated and *** total energy of the system,however,is infinite due to point singularities at the locations of monopoles.

The sluggish kinetics of the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is the bottleneck for various electrochemical energy conversion *** the electronic structure of electrocatalysts by ligands has received particular attention in deriving valid ORR ***,the surface electronic structure of Ptbased noble metal aerogels(NmAs)was modulated by various organic ligands,among which the electron-withdrawing ligand of 4-methylphenylene effectively boosted the ORR *** calculations suggested the smaller energy barrier for the transformation of O^(*) to OH^(*) and downshift the d-band center of Pt due to the interaction between 4-methylphenylene and the surface metals,thus enhancing the ORR intrinsic *** Pt3Ni and Pt Pd aerogels with 4-methylphenylene decoration performed significant enhancement in ORR activity and durability in different ***,the 4-methylphenylene modified Pt Pd aerogel exhibited the higher halfwave potential of 0.952 V and the mass activity of 10.2 times of commercial Pt/*** work explained the effect of electronic structure on ORR electrocatalytic properties and would promote functionalized NmAs as efficient ORR electrocatalysts.

The components of proton exchange membrane water electrolysers frequently experience corrosion issues, especially at high anodic polarization, that restrict the use of more affordable alternatives to titanium. Here, we investigate localized corrosion processes of bare and Ti-coated AISI 446 ferritic stainless steel under anodic polarization by scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECm) in sodium sulphate and potassium chloride solutions. SECm approach curves and area scans measured at open-circuit potential (OCP) of the samples in the feedback mode using a redox mediator evidence a negative feedback effect caused by the surface passive film. For the anodic polarization of the sample, the substrate generation-tip collection mode enables to observe local generation of iron (II) ions, as well as formation of molecular oxygen. For the uncoated AISI 446 sample, localized corrosion is detected in sodium sulphate solution simultaneously with oxygen formation at anodic potentials of 1.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl, whereas significant pitting corrosion is observed even at 0.2 V vs. Ag/AgCl in potassium chloride solution. The Ti-coated AISI 446 sample reveals enhanced corrosion resistance in both test solutions, without any evidence of iron (II) ions generation at anodic potentials of 1.2 V vs. Ag/AgCl, where only oxygen formation is observed.

Surface metallization of glass fiber(GF)/polyetheretherketone(PEEK)[GF/PEEK] is conducted by coating copper using electroplating and magnetron sputtering and the properties are determined by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEm), and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD).The coating bonding strength is assessed by pull-out tests and scribing in accordance with GB/T *** results show that the Cu coating with a thickness of 30 μm deposited on GF/PEEK by magnetron sputtering has lower roughness, finer grain size, higher crystallinity, as well as better macroscopic compressive stress,bonding strength, and electrical conductivity than the Cu coating deposited by electroplating.

Cohesive zone plays a vital role in the stable operation of a blast furnace(BF),yet the complex phase change process of iron ore particles in this zone is still not well *** this study,a novel one-dimensional(1D)unsteady phase change model was developed to elucidate the heat transfer and melting mechanisms of iron ore *** model validation,the effects of several key operating parameters(e.g.,particle diameter,gas velocity,initial temperature)on the phase change behavior of iron ore particles were analyzed,and the joint effect of multiple parameters was *** results show that larger-sized iron ore particles possess lower specific surface areas,which in turn reduces their convective heat absorption ***,the distance from the solid-liquid phase interface to the particle surface increases,thereby slowing down the movement of the phase interface and pro-longing the melting duration of the *** the gas velocity and the initial temperature does not have a significant impact on reducing the duration of the complete melting *** the specified conditions,it is observed that increasing the gas velocity by 3-fold and 9-fold results in a reduction of the melting duration by 2.4%and 8.3%,*** the initial temperature of iron ore particles results in a decrease in the core-to-surface temperature difference,a slower heating rate,and a shorter duration to achieve *** the factors affecting the melting process,the particle diameter is found to be the most significant in terms of the liquid phase precipitation,mushy zone thickness,and core-to-surface temperature difference of iron ore particles.

The external stimulus response strategy has been evolved rapidly in the field of olefin *** this work,we modularly synthesized three types of double stimulus responsiveα-diimine palladium catalysts,combining redox regulation and other regulation together,such as light,Lewis acid and alkali *** catalytic activities and the molecular weight of polyethylene products can be regulated for 4 times in ethylene *** palladium complexes were also used for the copolymerization reaction of ethylene and polar monomers,such as methyl 10-undecylenate and methyl acrylate,effectively regulating the catalytic activities,the molecular weight and polar monomer incorporation of the prepared *** research on these dual-regulated palladium complexes makes full use of prepared catalysts and provides new inspirations for regulating olefin polymerization.
