The aim of the article is to propose the method of designing double regulation control valves used in heating installations, allowing to obtain a constant value of the so-called inner authority and thus the constancy of the valve control characteristic, regardless of the pre-setting value set on the valve. The shape of the valve's regulation characteristics is one of the main factors determining the quality of the quantitative regulation, and thus the stability of the system's operation and overall operating costs. For this reason, the issue discussed in the article is important and can be applied in practical implementations of the valve sizing and the valve selection. The analysis was based on the relations binding the hydraulic resistances occurring inside the control valve, and the corresponding flow factors, using original author's proposal. The experimental verification was performed on a special measuring stand prepared for this purpose, measuring the values of the medium volume flow at a constant differential pressure, and then the results were converted into values of the flow factor, used in the proposed mathematical model. The results confirm the thesis put forward and the proposed mathematical model. High convergence of the results of experimental verification with the proposed mathematical model was obtained.

This paper demonstrates the plane stress state and the stress free thermo-elastic deformation of FgM thick plate under thermal ***,the Sneddon-Lockett theorem on the plane stress state in an isotropic infinite thick plate is generalized for a case of FgM problem in which all thermo-mechanical properties are optional functions of depth *** proof is based on application of the Iljushin thermo-elastic potential to displacement type system of equations that reduces it to the plane stress state *** an existence of the purely thermal deformation is proved in two ways:first,it is shown that the unique solution fulfils conditions of simultaneous constant temperature and linear gradation of thermal expansion coefficient,second,proof is based directly on stress type system of equations which straightforwardly reduces to compatibility equations for purely thermal deformation if only stress field is homogeneous in domain and at ***,couple examples of application to an engineering problem are presented.

Transanal excision （TE）, endoscopic transanal resection （ETAR） and transanal endoscopic microsurgery （TEN） can be used to remove adenomatous polyps. However, their use is limited by the size or location of the tumor. TE is limited to the lower rectum, TEN offers better access to lesions in the middle and upper rectum, and ETAR is used less frequently than it deserves for resection of rectal lesions.

We investigate in this work a quantum error correction on a five-qubits graph state used for secret sharing through five noisy channels. We describe the procedure for the five, seven and nine qubits codes. It is known that the three codes always allow error recovery if only one among the sent qubits is disturbed in the transmitting channel. However, if two qubits and more are disturbed, then the correction will depend on the used code. We compare in this paper the three codes by computing the average fidelity between the sent secret and that measured by the receivers. We will treat the case where, at most, two qubits are affected in each one of five depolarizing channels.

Fxcessive forest exploitation significantly contributes to land degradation and the creation of human-made *** are sometimes ignored in studies on the biodiversity of coarse woody *** investigated whether the type of stump,*** stumps(naturally created)and cut stumps(formed during forestry operations)had an impact on the species composition and species diversity as well as due to this fact they can be characterized by plant *** research covered 728 spruce stumps(287 broken and 441 cut stumps)that were inhabited by lichens,liverworts,mosses and vascular plants in mountain forest belt(Karkonosze Mts.,Poland).The following types of microhabitats were included in the research:the upper surface and the lateral surface of a stump with both bark and *** are statistically significant compositional differences between the two types of stumps,which was demonstrated by ordination analyses and indicator species *** to the generalized linear models,the probability of occurrence increases in cut stumps in case of liverworts and vascular plants and also along the decomposition *** generalized linear mixed-effects model showed that there was a higher species richness of liverworts,mosses and vascular plants on the cut stumps and less drier but the reverse situation was in *** generalized additive models for their cover showed similar *** all of the taxonomic groups were affected by altitude both in terms of species composition and total cover on the *** concluded that cut stumps are an important type of deadwood for biodiversity and provide a convenient habitat,especially for many lichens and bryophytes.

The in-vehicle volatile organic compounds （VOCs） concentrations gains the attention of both car producers and users. In the present study, an attempt was made to determine if analysis of air samples collected from an unconditioned car cabin can be used as a quality control measure. The VOCs composition of in-vehicle air was analyzed by means of active sampling on Carbograph 1TD and Tenax TA sorbents, followed by thermal desorption and simultaneous analysis on flame ionization and mass detector （TD-gC/FID-MS）. Nine newly produced cars of the same brand and model were chosen for this study. Within these, four of the vehicles were equipped with identical interior materials and five others differed in terms of upholstery and the presence of a sunroof; one car was convertible. The sampling event took place outside of the car assembly plant and the cars tested left the assembly line no later than 24 hr before the sampling took place. More than 250 compounds were present in the samples collected; the identification of more than 160 was confirmed by comparative mass spectra analysis and 80 were confirmed by both comparison with single/multiple compounds standards and mass spectra analysis. In general, aliphatic hydrocarbons represented more than 60% of the total VOCs （TVOC） determined. Depending on the vehicle, the concentration of aromatic hydrocarbons varied from 12% to 27% of total VOCs. The very short period between car production and sampling of the in-vehicle air permits the assumption that the entire TVOC originates from off-gassing of interior materials. The results of this study expand the knowledge of in-vehicle pollution by presenting information about car cabin air quality immediately after car production.

The aim of this study was to establish the source and provenance of sediments deposited in a large floodplain sink during extreme floods in the Lockyer Creek catchment, Australia, in 2011 and 2013. We place the sediment source patterns in context of the longer-term record to determine whether coarsegrained sediment sources(i.e., very fine sand to very coarse sand) and the spatio-temporal pattern of(dis)connectivity have changed over time. We do this by matching the geochemical properties and age structure of a sediment profile located in a downstream floodplain sink to the elemental composition of source sediments. One hundred and fifty-seven sediment samples from 20 sites across the catchment are analysed using X-ray fluorescence(XRF) spectrometry to compare the elemental ratio composition of the downstream floodplain sink to its source materials. We use Optically Stimulated Luminescence(OSL)dating to determine the age structure of the sediments in the floodplain sink. The northern tributaries and parts of the Lockyer River trunk stream are the primary sources of coarse sediment. These areas are connected(coupled) to the lower trunk stream and floodplain sediment sink. Southern tributaries are largely disconnected(decoupled) and supply little sediment to the floodplain sediment sink. This pattern of sediment source contribution has remained similar over the last 6.8 ka at least. Sediment sources as observed in the 2011 flood have predominated over the mid-late Holocene whilst those in the 2013 flood are rare.
