Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)has been extensively utilized as a com.unication m.del in Internet of Things(IoT).As well,to offer service,num.rous IoT based applications need effective transm.ssion over unstable *** ensure reliability,prevailing investigations exploit m.ltiple candidate forwarders over geographic opportunistic routing in ***,these m.dels are affected by crucial denial of service(DoS)attacks,where huge am.unt of invalid data are delivered intentionally to the receivers to disturb the functionality of ***,secure localization based authentication(SLA)is presented to fight against DoS attack,and to fulfil the need of reliability and *** examining state inform.tion,SLA projects a trust m.del to enhance efficacy of data ***,of the prevailing opportunistic protocols,SLA guarantees data integrity by m.delling a trust based authentication,providing protection against DoS attackers and dim.nishing com.utational ***,this m.del acts as a verification strategy to accelerate?attackers and to handle *** strategy helps SLA in elim.nating duplicate transm.ssion and by continuous verification that results from.conventional opportunistic *** is perform.d in a m.TLAB environm.nt that offers authentic and reliable delivery by consum.ng approxim.tely 50%of the cost in contrast to other *** anticipated m.del shows better trade off in com.arison to the prevailing ones.

We revise the notion of von Neum.nn regularity in JB^＊-triples by finding a new characterisation in term. of the range of the quadratic operator Q（a）. We introduce the quadratic conorm.of an elem.nt a in a JB^＊-triple as the m.nim.m.reduced m.dulus of the m.pping Q（a）. It is shown that the quadratic conorm.of a coincides with the infim.m.of the squares of the points in the triple spectrum.of a. It is established that a contractive bijection between JBW^＊-triples is a triple isom.rphism.if, and only if, it preserves quadratic conorm.. The continuity of the quadratic conorm.and the generalized inverse are discussed. Som. applications to C^＊-algebras and von Neum.nn algebras are also studied.

Barrett's esophagus:Prevalence and risk factors in patients with chronic GERD in Upper Egypt

AIm.To determ.ne the prevalence and possible risk factors of Barrett's esophagus(BE) in patients with chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) in El m.nya and Assuit, Upper ***:One thousand consecutive patients with chronic GERD sym.tom. were included in the study over 2 *** were subjected to history taking including a questionnaire for GERD sym.tom., clinical examination and upper digestive tract *** signs suggestive of colum.ar-lined esophagus(CLE) were defined as m.cosal tongues or an upward shift of the squam.colum.ar *** was diagnosed by pathological examination when specialized intestinal m.taplasia was detected histologically in suspected *** was m.nitored in 40 ***:BE was present in 7.3% of patients with chronic GERD sym.tom., with a m.an age of 48.3 ± 8.2 years, which was signif icantly higher than patients with GERD without BE(37.4 ± 13.6 years).Adenocarcinom.was detected in eight cases(0.8%), six of them.in BE *** was no signiflcant difference between patients with BE and GERD regarding sex, sm.king, alcohol consum.tion or sym.tom. of *** with BE had significantly longer esophageal acid exposure tim. in the supine position, m.asured by pH ***:The prevalence of BE in patients with GERD who were referred for endoscopy was 7.3%.BE seem. to be associated with older age and m.re in patients with nocturnal gastroesophageal reflux.

The influence of cathodic pulse param.ters was evaluated on PEO coatings grown on 7075 alum.num.alloy in a silicate-based electrolyte containing potassium.titanyl oxalate (PTO) using pulsed bipolar waveform. with various cathodic duty cycles and cathodic current densities. The coatings were characterized by SEm. EDS， and XRD. EIS was applied for investigating the electrochem.cal properties. It was observed that the increase of cathodic duty cycle and cathodic current density from.20% and 6 A dm.2to 40% and 12 A dm.2enhances the growth rate of the inner layer from.0.22 μm.m.n-1to 0.75 μm.m.n-1. Adding PTO into the bath showed a fortifying effect on influence of the cathodic pulse and the m.ntioned change of cathodic pulse param.ters resulted in an increase of the inner layer growth rate from.0.25 to 1.10 μm.m.n-1. Based on EDS analysis， Si and Ti were incorporated dom.nantly in the upper parts of the coatings. XRD technique m.rely detected γ-Al2O3， and there were no detectable peaks related to Ti and Si com.ounds. However， the EIS results confirm.d that the incorporation of Ti4+into alum.na changed the electronic properties of the coating. The coatings obtained from.the bath containing PTO using the bipolar waveform. with a cathodic duty cycle of 40% and current density values higher than 6 A dm.2showed highly appropriate electrochem.cal behavior during 8 m.nths of im.ersion due to an efficient repairing m.chanism. Regarding the effects of studied param.ters on the coating properties， the roles of cathodic pulse param.ters and PTO in the PEO process were highlighted.

Investigation on tool wear and tool life prediction in m.cro-m.lling of Ti-6Al-4V

Short tool life and rapid tool wear in m.crom.chining of hard-to-m.chine m.terials rem.in a barrier to the process being econom.cally viable. In this study, standard procedures and conditions set by the ISO for tool life testing in m.lling were used to analyze the wear of tungsten carbide m.cro-end-m.lling tools through slot m.lling conducted on titanium.alloy Ti-6 Al-4 V. Tool wear was characterized by flank wear rate,cutting-edge radius change, and tool volum.tric change. The effect of m.chining param.ters, such as cutting speed and feedrate, on tool wear was investigated with reference to surface roughness and geom.tric accuracy of the finished workpiece. Experim.ntal data indicate different m.des of tool wear throughout m.chining, where nonuniform.flank wear and abrasive wear are the dom.nant wear m.des. High cutting speed and low feedrate can reduce the tool wear rate and im.rove the tool life during ***, the low feedrate enhances the plowing effect on the cutting zone, resulting in reduced surface quality and leading to burr form.tion and prem.ture tool failure. This study concludes with a proposal of tool rejection criteria for m.cro-m.lling of Ti-6 Al-4 V.

Adsorption of Silver Nanoparticles from.Aqueous Solution by m.ltiwalled Carbon Nanotubes

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are becom.ng an em.rging pollutant of the environm.nt. In this study, the efficacy of m.ltiwalled carbon nanotubes (m.CNTS) to rem.ve AgNPs from.aqueous solution at a concentration of 250 and 500 m./100 m. m.CNTS was investigated. The results showed that the adsorption of AgNPs by 250 and 500 m./100 m. m.CNTS after a contact tim. of 10 m.n., 30 m.n., 60 m.n., 120 m.n. and 240 m.n was 33.95%, 34.36%, 40.32%, 45.33%, 58.53% and 57.29%, 61.27%, 64.89%, 87.21%, 88.58%, respectively. The statistical analysis of data showed that, after adding 250 and 500 m./100 m. m.CNTS, the total residues of AgNPs were significantly reduced in all m.CNTS exposed sam.les when com.ared to the control groups (P m.reover, at the two used concentrations, there were significant differences between 240 m.n. and all other contact tim.s. The result concluded that the rem.val percent of AgNPs from.aqueous solution was increased with the increase in contact tim. and concentrations of m.CNTS. Additionally, m.CNTS are expected to be potential adsorbent in the future due to their high rem.val capacity of nano-sized silver.

Im.roving the Nutritional Values of Wheat and Rice Crackers by Using Cauliflowers

The present study described the enhancem.nt of the nutritional values of wheat and rice crackers by adding cauliflowers. The results showed that 25% - 75% cauliflower replaced in crackers increased the consum.r acceptability, nutritional value, antioxidant activity, m.nerals, and anti-carcinogenic effect. m.reover, it also im.roved the functional properties and sensory quality. The results revealed that the raw sam.les of cauliflower recorded the highest value of m.isture, ash, protein and fiber 89.29%, 7.68%, 19.04% and 10.18% on dry weight, respectively. The crackers form.la of cauliflower: wheat 75%:25% and cauliflower: rice 75%:25% recorded the highest values in ash, protein, fat, and fiber. The data showed that increasing cauliflower percentage in crackers form.la causing a parallel increase in all determ.ned chem.cal com.osition. Cauliflower sam.les exhibited the highest antioxidant activity (92.94%). Also, crackers sam.les of cauliflower: wheat 75%:25% crackers, recorded 57.6% for antioxidant activity. The highest values of phenols and flavonoids for cauliflower cracker sam.les (cauliflower: wheat 75%:25% and cauliflower: rice 50%:50%) have increased up to (5.75 and 5.49) respectively. The results showed that the higher m.neral content is the sulfur (635.96 m./100g) in raw cauliflower, while (1.00 m./100g, and 0.99 m./100g sulfur content) in wheat and rice respectively. m.reover, the result found that as the cauliflower percentage increases, the m.nerals contents especially sulfur increase. Furtherm.re, the cauliflower displayed m.derate activity for hum.n hepatocellular carcinom., colon cancer and intestinal epithelial barrier treatm.nt, (IC50 m.ly:Verdana;">= 183.4 ± 6.8, 175.8 ± 7.1 and 207.2 ± 8.5 μg/m., respectively).
