Nanofluid Flows Within Porous Enclosures Using Non-Linear Boussinesq Approximation

In this paper,the Galerkin finite element method(FEM)together with the characteristic-based split(CBS)scheme are applied to study the case of the non-linear Boussinesq approximation within sinusoidal heating inclined enclosures filled with a non-Darcy porous media and *** enclosure has an inclination angle and its side-walls have varying sinusoidal temperature *** working fluid is a nanofluid that is consisting of water as a based nanofluid and Al2O3 as *** porous medium is modeled using the Brinkman Forchheimer extended Darcy *** obtained results are analyzed over wide ranges of the non-linear Boussinesq parameter 0≤ζ≤1,the phase deviation 00≤Φ≤1800,the inclination angle 00≤γ≤900,the nanoparticles volume fraction 0%≤φ≤4%,the amplitude ratio 0≤a≤1 and the Rayleigh number 104≤Ra≤*** results revealed that the average Nusselt number is enhanced by 0.73%,26.46%and 35.42%at Ra=104,105 and 106,respectively,when the non-linearBoussinesq parameter is varied from 0 to *** addition,rate of heat transfer in the case of a non-uniformly heating is higher than that of a uniformly ***-linear Boussinesq parameter rises the flow speed and heat transfer in an *** deviation makes clear changes on the isotherms and heat transfer rate on the right wall of an *** inclination angle varies the flow speed and it has a slight effect on heat transfer in an enclosure.

In machine learning and data mining,feature selection(FS)is a traditional and complicated optimization *** the run time increases exponentially,FS is treated as an NP-hard *** researcher’s effort to build a new FS solution was inspired by the ongoing need for an efficient FS framework and the success rates of swarming outcomes in different optimization *** paper presents two binary variants of a Hunger Games Search Optimization(HGSO)algorithm based on V-and S-shaped transfer functions within a wrapper FS model for choosing the best features from a large *** proposed technique transforms the continuous HGSO into a binary variant using V-and S-shaped transfer functions(BHGSO-V and BHGSO-S).To validate the accuracy,16 famous UCI datasets are considered and compared with different state-of-the-art metaheuristic binary *** findings demonstrate that BHGSO-V achieves better performance in terms of the selected number of features,classification accuracy,run time,and fitness values than other state-of-the-art *** results demonstrate that the BHGSO-V algorithm can reduce dimensionality and choose the most helpful features for classification *** proposed BHGSO-V achieves 95%average classification accuracy for most of the datasets,and run time is less than 5 *** low and medium dimensional datasets and less than 10 sec for high dimensional datasets.

Services provided by internet need guaranteed network performance. Efficient packet queuing and scheduling schemes play key role in achieving this. Internet engineering task force(IETF) has proposed Differentiated Services(Diff Serv) architecture for IP network which is based on classifying packets in to different service classes and scheduling them. Scheduling schemes of today's wireless broadband networks work on service differentiation. In this paper, we present a novel packet queue scheduling algorithm called dynamically weighted low complexity fair queuing(DWLC-FQ) which is an improvement over weighted fair queuing(WFQ) and worstcase fair weighted fair queuing+(WF2Q+). The proposed algorithm incorporates dynamic weight adjustment mechanism to cope with dynamics of data traffic such as burst and overload. It also reduces complexity associated with virtual time update and hence makes it suitable for high speed networks. Simulation results of proposed packet scheduling scheme demonstrate improvement in delay and drop rate performance for constant bit rate and video applications with very little or negligible impact on fairness.

The concept of classification through deep learning is to build a model that skillfully separates closely-related images dataset into different classes because of diminutive but continuous variations that took place in physical systems over time and effect *** study has made ozone depletion identification through classification using Faster Region-Based Convolutional Neural Network(F-RCNN).The main advantage of F-RCNN is to accumulate the bounding boxes on images to differentiate the depleted and non-depleted ***,image classification’s primary goal is to accurately predict each minutely varied case’s targeted classes in the dataset based on ozone *** permanent changes in climate are of serious *** leading causes beyond these destructive variations are ozone layer depletion,greenhouse gas release,deforestation,pollution,water resources contamination,and UV *** research focuses on the prediction by identifying the ozone layer depletion because it causes many health issues,e.g.,skin cancer,damage to marine life,crops damage,and impacts on living being’s immune *** have tried to classify the ozone images dataset into two major classes,depleted and non-depleted regions,to extract the required persuading features through ***,CNN has been used for feature extraction in the existing literature,and those extricated diverse RoIs are passed on to the CNN for grouping *** is difficult to manage and differentiate those RoIs after grouping that negatively affects the gathered *** classification outcomes through F-RCNN approach are proficient and demonstrate that general accuracy lies between 91%to 93%in identifying climate variation through ozone concentration classification,whether the region in the image under consideration is depleted or *** proposed model presented 93%accuracy,and it outperforms the prevailing techniques.

A robust estimation of the earthquake location, seismic moment, and fault geometry is essential for objective seismic hazard assessment. Seismic events in a remote location, specifically in the absence of seismic and GNSS networks, can be investigated effectively using the In SAR-based technique. This study adopts the Differential Interferometric SAR(DIn SAR) technique to quantify the co-seismic surface displacement caused by the June 21, 2022, Khōst M_(W)6 earthquake that occurred along the western plate boundary between the Indian and Eurasian plate. The interferograms show that the maximum surface deformation occurred on the northwest and southwest of the fault line. From coherence, the Line of Sight(LOS) displacement, and the co-seismic surface displacement analysis, it has been observed that surface deformation was most pronounced in the southwest region of the fault line, and the surface has moved to the opposite direction along the fault line, which indicates a sinistral slightly oblique strike-slip movement. This In SAR-based observation appears consistent with the seismic waveforms derived from co-seismic surface displacements. Further, it has been argued that the slip deficit accumulated during the period of the last about 48 years along the frontal region of the northward extension of the Suleiman range and associated fault zone is qualitatively estimated at about 1.5 m, which is consistent with the seismic waveforms derived finite slip model.

In this paper,the non-static solutions for perfect fluid distribution with plane symmetry in f(R,T)gravitational theory are ***,using the Lie symmetries,symmetry reductions are performed for considered vector fields to reduce the number of independent ***,corresponding to each reduction,exact solutions are *** vectors lead to different conserved ***,we figure out the Killing vector fields corresponding to all derived *** derived solutions are further studied and it is observed that all of the obtained spacetimes,at least admit to the minimal symmetry group which consists of δ_(y),δ_(z) and -zδ_(y)+yδ_(z).The obtained metrics,admit to 3,4,6,and 10,Killing vector *** of linear momentum in the direction of y and z,and angular momentum along the x axis is provided by all derived solutions.

The star-labelling programme for residential buildings was introduced by India in 2020 and applies to all residential buildings with no lower limit on the built-up area or electrical *** energy-star label for a residential building is awarded against the notified standard by the regulatory body and electric vehicles(EVs)have not been accommodated as a load for residential *** en-ergy consumption of an existing residential building is taken from a study already carried out and compared with the requirement of the Indian residential star-labelling programme with an EV as a plugged-in *** annual energy gap of 6060 kWh for the existing residential buildings considered in this study for five-star building energy labels increases to 7784 kWh if the EV load is added to the building *** residential building will lose two energy stars if it caters to the EV load and,to bridge this energy gap,the replace-ment of existing electrical appliances with five-star-rated energy appliances,employing grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaics(PV)and retrofit of the building envelope are *** techno-economic potential of rooftop solar PV and building envelope retrofitting for existing residential buildings is explored using RETScreen®and eQUEST software,*** study establishes that the installation of rooftop solar PV can accommodate the additional load of EVs and can bridge half and three-quarters of the energy gap to achieve five energy stars for an existing building with and without EVs,*** is the most economical option among the options explored in this *** target Energy Performance Index is achievable by high-end energy consumers(12000 kWh/year)by additional measures,the replacement of inefficient electrical appliances and building envelope retrofitting in addition to the installation of rooftop solar PV.

The purpose of this contribution is to review our current understanding of the source and biochemistry of the circadian efferent input to the eyes of the American horseshoe crab Limuluspolyphemus and the impact of this input on the structure, physiology and biochemistry of Limulus eyes. Special emphasis is given to the role of the biogenic amine octopamine and bio- chemical cascades it activates in the eyes. In addition to reviewing published data, we present new data showing that octopamine elevates cAMP levels in Limulus lateral eyes, and we partially characterize the pharmacology of the receptors involved in this response. We also present new data showing that octopamine regulates gene expression in Limulus lateral eyes by activating a cAMP cascade
