This paper explores the problem-solving behavior of people in design activities through a protocol analysis of verbal reports on the interior work design process simulated by an interactive evolutionary computation （IEC）. The protocol analysis method was used to explore the ways of thinking of the participants throughout the process. The analysis reveals that different parts of the interior scene have different effects on the evaluations, and people tend to use the same evaluation criteria continuously on several images. This kind of behavior is consistent with that of professional designers in past studies and is revealed applicable to nonprofessionals in the current research.

A ducted Darrieus-type turbine has been proposed for hydropower utilization of extra-low head less than 2 *** the hydro turbine system,in general,might consist of an intake,runner casing section and a draft tube for higher efficiency operation,it was clarified in previous experiment that there was no need of the side-walls of runner casing section and a draft-tube for keeping the efficiency high in the case of duct with an inlet *** would yield a simplification of the structure of the turbine *** order to reconfirm this result for large-sized turbine with 560 mm×300 mm duct,instead of small-sized one with 400 mm×200 mm duct,the side-wall effect on turbine performance was experimentally investigated for three-or four-bladed *** the present paper,the experimental results are shown with considering flow behaviors in the runner section.

The estimation of wind turbine performance over complex terrain is very difficult because of the document of standard IEC61400-12 is adapted for flat or slightly complex *** the cost of constructing a meteorological mast is higher with scaling wind turbine *** have proposed a numerical site calibration(NSC) technique in order to estimate the inflow velocity at the position of wind turbine by using CFD tool to calculate the flow field around the *** present paper shows the problems for the procedure of NSC in which a commercial nonlinear CFD tool and the improvement method are used to gain a more accurate *** is clarified that the wind turbine performance which is estimated by using the wind speed on the meteorological mast has a good result for annual energy production.

This paper used Active Radio Frequency Identification （Active RFID） technology to identify in which rooms fathers and their chitd tend to stay together and talk, and in which rooms they stay separately in seven one-child families living in Chinese urban apartment houses. The father was found to stay together with the child 0.5%-25% of the time when both father and chitd stayed at home. The use of the living room as the place in which the child stays with the father and tatks was found to be highest （five out of seven families）, fotlowed by the dining room and the child＇s room. In over half of the cases when the child stays with,the father in the living room or dining room and either of them tatk, the chitd spoke over 1.6 times more than the father. However, in the child＇s room, the child always spoke tess than the father, and the duration of the child＇s speech was less than 70% of that of the father. Findings showed that the instances in which child and father stay in different rooms fell into two groups. First, five of the seven subject fathers tended to stay in the living room, whereas the children stayed either in their room or in their parents＇ room to use the PC. Second, two fathers stayed in the studio or dining room to work, while their chitdren stayed in the living room or their own rooms. For both groups, the duration

This paper investigates the staying and moving characteristics of office workers in a non-territorial office using an ultra wide band(UWB)impulse radio sensor *** differences between office workers’staying and moving are clarified according to the individual workstation type that they *** study determines the characteristics of each type of *** clarifying office workers’preference for staying and moving with regard to individual workstation types and office worker post,the reasons why office workers in different posts tended to select different types of workstations were ***,leaders tended to select workstations at the“inner meeting corner side”most frequently,as they had a greater need to stay in other *** contrast,ordinary staff needed to visit office workers in other areas less often,and as such,they tended to select individual workstations at the“middle meeting corner side.”Barring this,they tended to select individual workstations at the“middle corridor side”or“outer-meeting corner side.”Temporary staff members had little need to visit or stay at other places so they tended to select individual workstations at the“window side,”which is seldom visited or stayed at by other office workers and they could be disturbed less often from their solo work.

Recently,undergraduate and postgraduate pharmaceutical education systems have been changing greatly in *** 2006,undergraduate pharmacist program was changed from 4 years course to 6 years course to train higher-quality pharmacists who can deal with the changes in the progression of medical technology and meet social demands for medication safety[1].As a postgraduate training system,pharmacy residency system was started in several hospital in 2002,and around 35 hospitals have pharmacy residency system at 2015[2].

In many hospitals,prescription checks are conducted by 2 or 3 individual pharmacists at each step of prescription checking,dispensing,and final checking to maintain the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical therapies in Japan[1,2].In Gunma University Hospital,we also check all prescriptions by 3 pharmacists at each step of dispensing(3 step prescription check system)with the exception of night *** this study,to assess the significance of our 3 step prescription check system for managing safety of pharmaceutical therapies,we investigated prescriptions that needed the confirmation of questionable points and prescription corrections.

AIM To evaluate the prognostic significance of perioperative carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA) and carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9) levels in stage Ⅱ/Ⅲ gastric *** From a multi-institutional retrospective database compiled by integrating clinical data from nine institutions, data of 998 patients who underwent curative resection for stage Ⅱ/Ⅲ gastric cancer between 2010 and 2014 were retrieved and analyzed. The prognostic impact of the preoperative and postoperative levels and chronological changes in CEA, CA19-9 and their combination were evaluated. To test whether postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy alters the prognostic impact of perioperative CEA and CA19-9 levels, the hazard ratios for mortality were compared between patients who underwent surgery alone and patients who underwent surgery followed by adjuvant *** The prognostic impact of postoperative CEA and CA19-9 was superior to that of the preoperative levels. Multivariable analysis identified high postoperative CEA and CA19-9 levels as independent prognostic factors for overall ***-free survival rates clearly decreased in a stepwise manner in association with postoperative CEA and CA19-9 levels, and patients with high levels of both markers showed significantly poorer prognosis than other patient groups. When we analyzed perioperative changes in serum CEA and CA19-9 levels, patients with high levels before and after surgery had the worst disease-free survival rates among all patient groups. Patients with normalized CEA levels after surgery had a significantly lower disease-free survival rate than those with normal perioperative levels, whereas patients with normalized CA19-9 levels after surgery had equivalent survival to those with normal perioperative levels. The prognostic impact of high CEA levels was observably smaller in patients who underwent adjuvant chemotherapy than in patients who underwent surgery alone, whereas that of high CA19-9 was greater in patients who
