Crop models have been developed for wide research purposes and scales,but they have low compatibility due to the diversity of current modeling *** model adaptability can lead to model *** deep neural networks have no conventional modeling parameters,diverse input and output combinations are possible depending on model *** these advantages,no process-based crop model has been tested in full deep neural network *** objective of this study was to develop a process-based deep learning model for hydroponic sweet *** mechanism and multitask learning were selected to process distinct growth factors from the environment *** algorithms were modified to be suitable for the regression task of growth *** were conducted twice a year for 2 years in *** developed crop model,DeepCrop,recorded the highest modeling efficiency(=0.76)and the lowest normalized mean squared error(=0.18)compared to accessible crop models in the evaluation with unseen *** t-distributed stochastic neighbor embedding distribution and the attention weights supported that DeepCrop could be analyzed in terms of cognitive *** the high adaptability of DeepCrop,the developed model can replace the existing crop models as a versatile tool that would reveal entangled agricultural systems with analysis of complicated information.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the fatigue severity of patients with idiopathic chronic fatigue(ICF) and to compare the severity of this group with that of healthy ***:one hundred and nine ICF patients and 98 healthy subjects were enrolled in this *** severity was measured using the Korean-translated Chalder fatigue severity *** subjects scored each item on a 10-point scale as a self-rating numeric scale(NRS),and additionally rated their feeling of general fatigue by visual analogue scale(VAS).RESULTS:The total NRS scores of patients with ICF was 53 ± 15 compared with 25 ± 14 of healthy subjects(2.4 folds for physical symptoms vs.1.7 folds for mental symptoms respectively).The VAS scores of patients with ICF were 2.7 times as high as those of healthy ***:This report is the first to compare the severity of fatigue between ICF patients and healthy *** study contains reference data applicable for the management of this disorder in field of complementary and alternative medicine.

In the proposed paper,a parallel structure type Generative Adversarial Network(GAN)using edge and texture information is *** the existing GAN-based model,many learning iterations had to be given to obtaining an output that was somewhat close to the original data,and noise and distortion occurred in the output image even when learning was *** solve this problem,the proposed model consists of two generators and three discriminators to propose a network in the form of a parallel *** the network,each edge information and texture information were received as inputs,learning was performed,and each character was combined and outputted through the Combine *** this,edge information and distortion of the output image were improved even with fewer iterations than DCGAN,which is the existing GAN-based *** a result of learning on the network of the proposed model,a clear image with improved contour and distortion of objects in the image was output from about 50,000 iterations.

A numerical procedure using a stable cell-based smoothed finite element method(CS-FEM)is presented for estimation of stability of a square tunnel in the soil where the shear strength increases linearly with *** kinematically admissible displacement fields are approximated by uniform quadrilateral elements in conjunction with the strain smoothing technique,eliminating volumetric locking issues and the singularity associated with the MohreCoulomb ***,a rich set of simulations was performed to compute the static stability of a square tunnel with different geometries and soil *** presented results are in excellent agreement with the upper and lower bound solutions using the standard finite element method(FEM).The stability charts and tables are given for practical use in the tunnel design,along with a newly proposed formulation for predicting the undrained stability of a single square ***,the seismic stability number was computed using the present numerical *** results reveal that the seismic stability number reduces with an increasing value of the horizontal seismic acceleration(a_(h)),for both cases of the weightless soil and the soil with unit ***,the link between the static and seismic stability numbers is described using corrective factors that represent reductions in the tunnel stability due to seismic *** is shown from the numerical results that the corrective factor becomes larger as the unit weight of soil mass increases;however,the degree of the reduction in seismic stability number tends to reduce for the case of the homogeneous ***,this advanced numerical procedure is straightforward to extend to three-dimensional(3D)limit analysis and is readily applicable for the calculation of the stability of tunnels in highly anisotropic and heterogeneous soils which are often encountered in practice.

A dimple appears on a free surface while rotating a cylinder tank filled with liquid. The dimple starts to concentrically deeper to a drain port at the bottom center of the tank. Over time, the dimple penetrates the drain port, a free surface forms a long and slender string shape in the tank, and a so-called vortexing （air core） phenomenon occurs. The generation of a vortex core depends on the size of the tank and drain port, and on the properties of the liquid in the tank. In this study, the liquid level and the time at which the vortex core is initially generated are numerically investigated using different values of tank diameter, drain port diameter, and ini- tial tank rotational speeds. Instead of a full three-dimensional analysis, a two-dimensional axisymmetric simulation is conducted. The momentum conservation equation in the circumferential direction is additionally solved in the two-dimensional mesh system. Several non-dimensional variables are created： the ratio of the air core generation distance and tank diameter, the diameter ratio of the tank and drain port, the rotational Reynolds number, the rotational Froude number, and the rotational Weber number. Finally, the non-dimensional air core generation distance is correlated with the other non-dimensional parameters.

Conceptual Design for a Kerosene Fuel-rich Gas-generator of a Turbopump-fed Liquid Rocket Engine

A design method for a kerosene fuel-rich gas-generator of a liquid rocket engine using turbopumps to supply propellant was performed at a conceptual level. The gas-generator creates hot gases, enabling the turbine to operate the turbopumps. A chemical non-equilibrium analysis and a droplet vaporization model were used for the estimation of the burnt gas properties and characteristic chamber length. A premixed counter-flow flame analysis was performed for the prediction of the burnt gas properties, namely the temperature, the specific heat ratio and heat capacity, and the chemical reaction time. To predict the vaporization time, the Spalding model, using a single droplet in convective condition, was used. The minimum residence time in the chamber and the characteristic length were calculated by adding the reaction time and the vaporization time. Using the characteristic length, the design methods for the fuel-rich gas-generator were established. Finally, a parametric study was achieved for the effects of the O/F ratio, mass flow rate, chamber pressure, initial droplet temperature, initial droplet diameter and initial droplet velocity.

Let f be a real polynomial function with n variables and S be a basic closed semialgebraic set in R^(n).In this paper,the authors are interested in the problem of identifying the type(local minimizer,maximizer or not extremum point)of a given isolated KKT point x^(*)of f over *** this end,the authors investigate some properties of the tangency variety of f on S at x^(*),by which the authors introduce the definition of faithful radius of f over S at x^(*).Then,the authors show that the type of x^(*)can be determined by the global extrema of f over the intersection of S and the Euclidean ball centered at x^(*)with a faithful ***,the authors propose an algorithm involving algebraic computations to compute a faithful radius of x*and determine its type.
