Differences and identification on multi-time hydrocarbon generation of carboniferous-permian coaly source rocks in the Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay Basin

Coal is a solid combustible mineral,and coal-bearing strata have important hydrocarbon generation potential and contribute to more than 12%of the global hydrocarbon ***,the deposition and hydrocarbon evolution process of ancient coal-bearing strata is characterized by multiple geological times,leading to obvious distinctions in their hydrocarbon generation potential,geological processes,and production,which affect the evaluation and exploration of hydrocarbon resources derived from coaly source rocks *** study aimed to identify the differences on oil-generated parent macerals and the production of oil generated from different coaly source rocks and through different oil generation *** with the analysis of previous tectonic burial history and hydrocarbon generation history,high-temperature and high-pressure thermal simulation experiments,organic geochemistry,and organic petrology were performed on the Carboniferous-Permian(C-P)coaly source rocks in the Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay *** oil-generated parent macerals of coal's secondary oil generation process(SOGP)were mainly hydrogen-rich collotelinite,collodetrinite,sporinite,and cutinite,while the oil-generated parent macerals of tertiary oil generation process(TOGP)were the remaining small amount of hydrogen-rich collotelinite,sporinite,and cutinite,as well as dispersed soluble organic matter and unexhausted residual *** with coal,the oil-generated parent macerals of coaly shale SOGP were mostly sporinite and *** part of hydrogen-poor vitrinite,lacking hydrocarbon-rich macerals,and macerals of the TOGP,in addition to some remaining cutinite and a small amount of crude oil and bitumen from SOGP contributed to the oil *** results indicated that the changes in oil yield had a good junction between SOGP and TOGP,both coal and coaly shale had higher SOGP aborted oil yield than TOGP starting yield,and coaly shale TOGP peak oil yield was low

渤海湾盆地黄骅坳陷歧口凹陷内赋存极为丰富的地热资源,其中新近系馆陶组热储最具开采价值,开展馆陶组热储地温场、孔渗条件、地热水循环规律和成因模式研究对认识馆陶组地热资源属性,合理开发地热资源具有重要意义。通过分析该区钻探、物探、测温、开发数据等资料,确定歧口凹陷内馆陶组热储为沉积盆地传导型地热系统,深部地幔热流和地壳内放射性生热以热传导方式传热,地热异常分布受基岩起伏的控制,在沧东断裂、滨海断裂附近出现高温地热异常,地温梯度可达5.0℃/hm以上。馆陶组热储的孔渗条件南北两侧较高、中部较低,热储孔隙率整体在26%以上,渗透率在390×10^(-3)μm^(2)以上,单井涌水量平均60 m^(3)/h,是优质热储。地热水主要来源于古大气降水,由北部燕山补给,沿地层深循环,吸取岩石热量后形成地热水。歧口凹陷区馆陶组热储地热资源量为41.81×10^(18)J,尤以天津滨海新区和河北黄骅市分布最广,占总资源量的95%,资源与需求匹配度高,具有良好的开发利用前景。

Decipher hydrocarbon generation and accumulation based on fluid inclusion and chronology:A case study from the Upper Paleozoic buried-hills in Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay Basin

Deciphering hydrocarbon generation and accumulation stage is of significance to understand oil and gas evolution and seek exploration *** the Upper Paleozoic buried-hills in the Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay Basin,as a case study,hydrocarbon generation environment and detailed accumulation process are revealed by fluid inclusions observations,Laser Raman spectroscopy,Fourier Infrared spectroscopy,and K-Ar isotope *** results show that both oil and gas inclusion were captured in the quartz overgrowth,dissolved feldspar and calcite microfractures,showing blue to dark brown *** grains containing oil inclusions index(GOI)of oil,oil&gas and gas being 25%,65%,and 10%and the inclusions with abundant methyl groups and short chains,both indicate high thermal *** series of fluids inclusion is generally observed,evidenced by the concentrated homogenization temperature of 135-145℃ and salinity of 3%-15 w.t.%NaCl equiv,indicating one primary charging *** gas and gas&liquid inclusions mainly contain CH_(4),with also peaks indicating CO_(2) and N_(2.)The Carboniferous and Permian biomarkers show reducing environment with brackish water,with organic matter sources both from marine and *** relative content ofααα20RC_(27),ααα20RC_(28),andααα20RC_(29) exhibit source contributions both from algae and higher plants,and mainly of II2 to III *** coal derived gas and oil associated hydrocarbons are identified from most of the *** the fluid homogenization temperature and salinity,as well as the thermal evolution history,the hydrocarbon generated from the Upper Paleozoic was concentrated at the end of the Eocene(40 Ma±),while the beginning of charging is 60 Ma±.The Wumaying Buried-hill is of only coal derived gas and has potential for inner coal measure natural gas *** results provide a detailed understanding of hydrocarbon accumulations in the study area,which can also be reference for impro

Evolution characteristics and exploration targets of Permian clastic rock reservoirs in Bohai Bay Basin,East China

Based on core observation, thin section examination, fluid inclusions analysis, carbon and oxygen isotopic composition analysis, and other approaches, the structural and burial evolution histories were investigated, and the diagenetic evolution process and genetic/development models were systematically discussed of the Upper Paleozoic Permian clastic rock reservoirs in the Bohai Bay Basin, East China. The Bohai Bay Basin underwent three stages of burial and two stages of uplifting in the Upper Paleozoic. Consequently, three stages of acid dissolution generated by the thermal evolution of kerogen, and two stages of meteoric freshwater leaching occurred. Dissolution in deeply buried, nearly closed diagenetic system was associated with the precipitation of authigenic clay and quartz, leading to a limited increase in storage space. Different structural uplifting–subsidence processes of tectonic zones resulted in varying diagenetic–reservoir-forming processes of the Permian clastic reservoirs. Three genetic models of reservoirs are recognized. The Model I reservoirs with pores formed in shallow strata and buried in shallow to medium strata underwent two stages of exposure to long-term open environment and two stages of meteoric freshwater leaching to enhance pores near the surface, and were shallowly buried in the late stage, exhibiting the dominance of secondary pores and the best physical properties. The Model Ⅱ reservoirs with pores formed in shallow strata and preserved due to modification after deep burial experienced an early exposure-open to late burial-closed environment, where pore types were modified due to dissolution, exhibiting the dominance of numerous secondary solution pores in feldspar and the physical properties inferior to Model I. Identifying volcanic reservoir types and their distribution patterns in volcanic edifices is important for accurate prediction and exploration of hydrocarbon reservoirs. Herein， we analyzed the distribution patterns of different reservoir levels in volcanic edifices， discussed controlling factors， and reclassified reservoir types. This was done using core observations， whole-rock geochemistry， and reservoir physical property analysis， combined with logging， drilling， seismic， and oil-gas test data. Reservoirs can be divided into three classes based on their physical properties. The Mesozoic intermediate and basic rocks formed class I reservoirs， most lithologies formed class II reservoirs， and diabase intrusions and tight volcanic rocks formed class III reservoirs. Reservoirs form in different lithologies in the Huanghua Depression due to weathering. Tectonic faults deepen the influence of weathering leading to the formation of reservoirs in tight. Additionally， volcanic rhythms and fractures control the vertical distribution of Cenozoic basaltic reservoirs. Volcanic reservoirs are classified into five types based on the main controlling factors and distribution patterns in volcanic edifices: tectonic-alteration， vesicle-fracture， weathered-effusive， weathered-eruptive， and weathered-tectonic types. Among these， the weathered-eruptive type can easily form class I reservoirs， making it the best target for exploration. Whereas the weathered- tectonic and vesicle-fracture types tend to develop class II reservoirs and can be potential targets. The new classification takes into account the relationship between reservoir levels and their distribution in volcanic edifices， it is more conducive to igneous reservoir prediction in the Huanghua Depression. This study provides a novel idea for the classification and comparative study of igneous reservoirs in petroliferous basins.

Nickel Sulfide Modified NiCu Nanoalloy with Excellent Oxygen Evolution Reaction Properties Prepared through Electrospinning and Heat Treatment

Ni^(2+)/Cu^(2+)/SO_(4)^(2-)/polyvinyl alcohol precursor fibers with uniform diameters were prepared through ***-based composite nanoalloys containing Ni,Cu,and S were prepared through heat treatment in an Ar *** experimental results show that the main components of the prepared nanoalloys are NiCu,Ni_(3)S_(2),Ni,and *** nanoalloys exhibit fine grain sizes about 200-500 nm,which can increase with increasing heat treatment *** test results show that the nickel sulfidemodified NiCu nanoalloy composites exhibit excellent oxygen evolution reaction properties,and the oxygen evolution reaction properties gradually improve with the increasing heat treatment *** sample prepared at 1 000℃ for 40 min show a low overpotential of 423 mV and a small Tafel slope of 134 mV·dec^(-1) at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2).

Hydrochemical insights on the signatures and genesis of water resources in a high-altitude city on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, South-west China

Water resources have crucial implications for the steady development of the urban social *** study investigated the hydrochemical signatures and genesis of water resources in the urban area of Lhasa City(UALC).To this end,several analyses,such as ion ratio analysis and correlation analysis,were performed by comprehensively applying mathematical statistics and integrated hydrochemical *** results show relatively low concentrations of major ions in the groundwater and surface water(GSW)of the *** primary anions and cations are HCO3-and Ca2+,reflecting the HCOg-Ca water ***,groundwater exhibits higher concentrations of key chemical components compared to surface *** are weakly alkaline,with pH values of 7.78 and 7.61,respectively,and they have low salinity with average concentrations of total dissolved solids being 190.74 and 112.17 mg/L,*** inputs have minimal influence on the hydrochemical features of GSw,whereas rock weathering is the dominant controlling ***,cation *** a significant *** influencing their hydrochemical *** to the isotope analysis(H and 180),the primary source of recharge for GSW is atmospheric precipitation,with some input from melted ice and ***,GSW samples from the UALC show relatively similar 2H and 18O isotopic compositions,indicating the existence of a discernible hydraulic connection linking the two water *** research findings can serve as a valuable scientific reference and foundation for the sustainable development,effective utilization,and proper safeguarding of regional water resources in high-altitude areas.
