Diabetes,a prevalent chronic metabolic disorder,often leads to severe ***,existing treatment methods may pose life-threatening risks due to poor patient compliance and inaccurate dosing of subcutaneous insulin ***,a biomimetic red blood cell(RBC)membrane-coated glucose-responsive nanoplatform is developed for controlling insulin *** nanoplatforms with RBC membrane can prolong the half-life of nano-formulation in vivo mediated by the biomimetic immune ***,the cascade catalytic effect of glucose oxidase(GOx)encapsulated in metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and hemoglobin(Hb)in the RBC membrane are able to not only facilitate glucose-responsive insulin release,but also eliminate the detrimental by-product hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))resulting from the Hb mediated H_(2)O_(2)*** in vitro and in vivo studies have demonstrated the favorable glucose-responsive performances of this advanced nano-platform with a single intravenous injection maintaining blood glucose balance in Type 1 Diabetes(T1D)mice for an extended duration without the hypoglycemia ***,this biomimetic insulin delivery system is poised to function as a strategy for the intravenous insulin administration,offering a promising drug candidate for the self-adaptive long-term T1D treatment.

danshensu Ameliorates Cardiac Ischaemia Reperfusion Injury through Activating Sirt1/Fox01/Rab7 Signal Pathway

Objective:To explore the specific molecular mechanisms of danshensu(DSS)in the treatment of ischemia reperfusion injury(IRI).Methods:IRI model was established with isolated rat hearts by performing global ischaemia for 30 min,and then followed by 60 min ***,H9C2 cells were subjected to 4-h hypoxia followed by 3-h *** 10|i mol/L DSS were added in the reperfusion/reoxygenation step to intervene *** function,structural change and apoptosis were respectively tested by Langendorff System,hematoxylin and eosin(HE)and terminal-deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated nick endabeling(TUNEL)*** lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),cardiac troponin T(cTnT),reactive oxygen species(ROS),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX)were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Sirt1/FoxO1/Rab7 Signal Pathway was monitored at both protein and mRNA ***:The results showed that IRI not only greatly attenuated cardiac function(LVDP and±dp/dtmax,Pdant defense system,such as SOD and ***:DSS is able to protect hearts from IRI,which may be attributable to inhibiting excessive ROS through Sirt1/FoxO1/Rab7 signaling.

Investigation on A Resistance-Type Porosity Model and the Experimental Coefficients

The mathematical model based on the Volume-Averaged/Reynolds-Averaged Navier Stokes (VARANS) equations has been adopted in recent years to generally simulate the interaction between waves and porous structures. However, it is still hard to determine the two experimental coefficients (α and β) included in VARANS equations. In the present study, VARANS equation is adopted to describe the flow inside and outside the porous structures uniformly, with applying the volume averaged k ε model to simulate the turbulence effect. A new calibration method is used to evaluate the accuracy of numerical simulation of wave motion on porous seabed with different coefficients, by taking the wave damping rate as an index. The calibration is achieved by completing a simulation matrix on two calibration cases. A region can be found in the parameter space to produce a lower error, which means that the simulation results are better consistent with the experimental results.

A NEW NUMERICAL WAVE FLUME COMBINING THE 0-1 TYPE BEM AND THE VOF METHOD

A new coupling numerical wave model, based on both the Boundary Element Method （BEM） and the Volume Of Fluid （VOF） method, is established by taking advantages of the both methods to solve the wave-structure interaction problems. In this model, the wave transformation in front of structures is calculated by the 0-1 type BEM, and the intense wave motions near the structures are calculated by the VOF method. In this paper, the characteristics of the BEM and the VOF method are discussed first, and then the coupling treatments are described in detail. In the end, the accuracy and the validity of the coupling model are examined by comparing the numerical results with experiment results and other numerical results available for the interactions between regular waves with a monolayer horizontal plate.

Realizing nano-confinement of magnesium for hydrogen storage using vapour transport deposition

A new approach was developed to successfully load Mg into the nanometre-sized pores of an anodic aluminium oxide（AAO） template for realizing the nano-confinement of Mg. Structural characterization shows that Mg nano-particles are nucleated along the AAO pipe wall together with the formation of MgO and Mg17Al12 as byproducts. The flow rate of argon gas, the temperature of the AAO template and the transporting distance between the Mg vapour source and the AAO template were optimized to achieve the confinement of Mg nano-particles with larger loading rate. Under optimized deposition conditions, the particle size of the loaded Mg is less than 100 nm and the effective filling factor is about 35 wt%. The confined Mg/MgH2 even after 10 de-/hydrogenation cycles still shows favourable kinetics. Furthermore, the slight reduction in hydrogen desorption enthalpy and entropy of MgH2 from（74.42 ± 0.12） to（73.21 ± 0.04） k J·mol^-1 and（130.98 ±0.05） to（130.11 ± 0.24） Jámol^-1·K^-1 is also found in the present nano-confinement.

Corrosion behavior of the friction-stir-welded joints of 2A14-T6 aluminum alloy

The corrosion behavior of friction-stir-welded 2A14-T6 aluminum alloy was investigated by immersion testing in immersion exfoliation corrosion（EXCO） solution. Electrochemical measurements（open circuit potential, potentiodynamic polarization curves, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy）, scanning electron microscopy, and energy dispersive spectroscopy were employed for analyzing the corrosion mechanism. The results show that, compared to the base material, the corrosion resistance of the friction-stir welds is greatly improved, and the weld nugget has the highest corrosion resistance. The pitting susceptibility originates from the edge of Al-Cu-Fe-Mn-Si phase particles as the cathode compared to the matrix due to their high self-corrosion potential. No corrosion activity is observed around the θ phase（Al2Cu） after 2 h of immersion in EXCO solution.

Effects of postweld aging on the microstructure and properties of bobbin tool friction stir-welded 6082-T6 aluminum alloy

Samples of 6082-T6 aluminum alloy were subjected to bobbin tool friction stir welding (BT-FSW), and the joints were treated by postweld natural aging (PWNA) and postweld artificial aging (PWAA). The microstructure, microhardness, and tensile properties of the aged and as-welded specimens were investigated. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations revealed that a large number of Guinier–Preston (GP) zones precipitated in the form of a network on the stir zone (SZ) after PWNA for 60 d, and a large number of β'' phases precipitated in the matrix for after PWAA for 6 h. As the aging time increased, the microhardness of the SZ and the thermomechanically affected zone (TMAZ) increased significantly, and the hardness of the SZ after PWAA for 6 h was close to that of the base metal (BM). With increasing PWNA time, the strength and strain increased slightly. When the PWAA time increased, the strength clearly increased, with a maximum value of 279.9 MPa after 6 h, while the strain decreased.

Study on parameters of L-[1-^(13)C]phenylalanine breath test for quantitative assessment of liver function in healthy subjects and patients with hepatitis B virus-related liver disease

The aims of this study are to investigate the feasibility and validity of the L-[1-13C] phenylalanine breath test (13C-PheBT) which has been used to measure hepatocyte functional capacity in hepatitis B virus-related liver disease patients and to propose validity parameters of the test in 12 healthy volunteer, 8 chronic hepatitis and 26 liver cirrhotic patients. 100mg/body nonradiative L-[1-13C] phenylalanine (13C-Phe) was administered orally to all subjects. Breath samples were taken before and different intervals within 360 min after administration. The 13CO2/12CO2 en-richment was assessed by isotope ratio mass spectrometer. The parameter percentage 13C excretion rate 13CERt (% 13C dose/h) all peaked within 10-30 min after oral 13C-Phe application. The parameters such as maximum value of 13C excretion rate,13CERmax (% 13C dose/h) (controls: 18.0±3.3; Child A: 11.0±3.8; Child B: 5.0±0.5; Child C: 3.6±1.2), 13C excretion rate at 30min, 13CER30 (% dose/h) (controls: 11. 9±2.1; Child A: 8.1±0.4; Child B: 6.1±0.9; Child C: 3.2±1.2), 13C cumulative excretion of first 60 min, 13Ccum60 (% 13C dose) (controls: 9.3±1.4; Child A: 6.6±0.7; Child B: 4.1±0.3; Child C: 2.6±0.9) and half time of 13C excretion rate, T1/2 (minutes) (controls: 40.4±4.4; chronic hepatitis: 53.4±4.4; Child A: 59.8±4.5; Child B: 102.0±17.3; Child C: 212.1±87.9) were effective indexes which could be employed to stage hepatocyte impairment and liver functional reserve of advanced HBV-related cirrhotic patients (i.e. healthy subjects, Child A, B, C); T1/2 was also useful for distinguishing mild HBV-related liver injure.
