To address the issue of hemilabile catalyst in olefin polymerization catalysis, a cyclizing strategy was used to construct novel N-bridged phosphine-carbonyl palladium and nickel catalysts, resulting in improvements on ethylene(co)polymerizations. The N-bridged phosphinecarbonyl Pd catalysts(Pd1-Pd5) and Ni catalysts(Ni1-Ni5) bearing five-to eight-membered-ring structures were designed and *** performance for ethylene(co)polymerization became better as the size of N-containing bridge increased. The seven-membered-ring bridged catalysts Pd4 and Ni4 exhibited the best performance in terms of catalytic activity, polymer molecular weight and incorporation of acrylates and acrylic acid. The better performance of these catalysts bearing larger-size bridges was tentatively attributed to the methyleneinduced higher electron density around nitrogen, which strenghtens the coordination of carbonyl group to metal center, and also to the steric effect offered by this cyclization. This work provides a new strategy to enhance hemilabile polymerization catalysts.

Theα-imino-ketone nickel catalyst is an emerging versatile platform that is easy to prepare and allows for the production of branched high molecular weight functionalized ***,study on this catalyst system is rare thus *** this contribution,by introducing different backbones,flexible and rigid axial substituents into theα-imino-ketone framework,a family of cationic nickel catalysts were synthesized and fully *** the addition of any activator,systematic studies on ethylene polymerization and copolymerization with polar monomers were performed to explore the influence of both backbone and axial substituent on catalytic activity,polymer molecular weight,branching density and *** particular,owing to the unique semi-opening feature of theα-imino-ketone framework,the preferred nickel catalyst exhibited high activity of 175 kg·mol^(-1)·h^(-1)to produce functionalized polyethylene with molecular weight of 13.4 kg·mol^(-1)and comonomer incorporation of 2.9 mol%.

The non-uniform temperature distribution in supercritical CO_(2)(Sc-CO_(2))fracturing influences the density,viscosity,and volume expansion or shrinkage rate of Sc-CO_(2),impacting proppant *** study presents a coupled computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method and heat transfer model to examine the effects of proppant bed shape and the heat transfers of proppant-wall,proppant-fluid,and fluid-wall on the fluid and proppant temperature *** Sc-CO_(2)volume expansion is assessed under various temperature conditions by evaluating the volume-averaged Sc-CO_(2)*** factors,including proppant size,shape,thermal conductivity,concentration,temperature difference,and injection velocity,are carefully analyzed to elucidate their *** findings elucidate the existence of four distinct zones in the fluid temperature *** zone exhibits different magnitudes of temperature change under diverse conditions and undergoes dynamic transformations with the development of the proppant *** fluid-wall heat transfer and the fluid temperatures in Zones C and D are significantly subject to the fluid injection velocity(governing the heating duration),the temperature difference between fluid and formation(impacting the magnitude of heat flux),and the proppant bed shape(controlling the effective heating area).Additionally,the proppant-wall and proppant-fluid heat transfers determine the temperatures of both the proppant bed and the fluid within Zone B,showing a strong correlation with proppant thermal conductivity,proppant size,injection velocity,and temperature *** proposed coupled model provides valuable insights into the temperature distributions and flow behaviors of temperature-dependent fracturing fluids and proppants.

A Novel Design of a Pre-separation Panel Structure to Protect Against the Impact of an Explosion in an Aircraft Plenum Chamber

To reduce the damage of the pressurizing panel structure of a fuselage caused by an explosion at the“least risk bomb location”in an aircraft structure,a new pre-separation panel structure was designed to resist blast ***,the dynamic strain response and morphology of impact damage of the new pre-separation panel were measured in an impact damage ***,the commercial software LS-DYNA was used to calculate the propagation of the blast shock wave,and the results were compared with empirical equations to verify the rationality of the numerical calculation ***,the fluid–structure coupling method was used to calculate the damage process of the pre-separation panel structure under the impact of an explosion wave and an impact *** calculated results were in good agreement with the test results,which showed the rationality of the calculation method and the *** residual strength of the damaged pre-separation panel was significantly higher than that of the original damaged *** results show that the new pre-separation panel structure is reasonable and has certain significance for guiding the design of plenum chambers with strong resistance to implosion for aircraft fuselages.

An accurate and novel small-signal equivalent circuit model for GaN high-electron-mobility transistors(HEMTs)is proposed,which considers a dual-field-plate(FP)made up of a gate-FP and a *** equivalent circuit of the overall model is composed of parasitic elements,intrinsic transistors,gate-FP,and source-FP *** equivalent circuit of the gate-FP is identical to that of the intrinsic *** order to simplify the complexity of the model,a series combination of a resistor and a capacitor is employed to represent the *** analytical extraction procedure of the model parameters is presented based on the proposed equivalent *** verification is carried out on a 4×250μm GaN HEMT device with a gate-FP and a source-FP in a 0.45μm *** with the classic model,the proposed novel small-signal model shows closer agreement with measured S-parameters in the range of 1.0 to 18.0 GHz.

Cosmic shear statistics,such as the two-point correlation function(2PCF),can be evaluated with the PDF-SYM method instead of the traditional weighted-sum *** makes use of the full PDF information of the shear estimators,and does not require weightings on the shear estimators,which can in principle introduce additional systematic *** work presents our constraints on S8and?mfrom the shear-shear correlations using the PDF-SYM *** data we use is from the z-band images of the dark Energy Camera Legacy Survey(DECa LS),which covers about 10000 deg2with more than 100 million *** shear catalog is produced by the Fourier Quad method,and well tested on the real data itself with the field-distortion *** main approach is called quasi-2D as we do use the photo-z information of each individual galaxy,but without dividing the galaxies into redshift *** mainly use galaxy pairs within the redshift interval between 0.2 and 1.3,and the angular range from 4.7 to 180 *** analysis yields S8=0.762±0.026 and?m=0.234±0.075,with the baryon effects and the intrinsic alignments *** results are robust against redshift *** check the consistency of our results by deriving the cosmological constraints from auto-correlations ofγ1andγ2separately,and find that they are consistent with each other,but the constraints from theγ1component are much weaker than that fromγ*** implies a much worse data quality ofγ1,which is likely due to additional shear uncertainties caused by CCD electronics(according to the survey strategy of DECa LS).We also perform a pure 2D analysis,which gives S8=0.81_(-0.04)^(+0.03)and?m=0.25_(-0.05)^(+0.06).Our findings demonstrate the potential of the PDF-SYM method for precision cosmology.

Flapping Wing Micro Aerial Vehicles(FWMAVs)have caused great concern in various fields because of their high efficiency and *** wing motion is a very important factor that affects the performance of the aircraft,and previous works have always focused on the time-averaged performance ***,the time-history performance is equally important in the design of motion mechanism and flight control *** this paper,a time-history performance optimization framework based on deep learning and multi-island genetic algorithm is presented,which is designed in order to obtain the optimal two-dimensional flapping wing ***,the training dataset for deep learning neural network is constructed based on a validated computational fluid dynamics *** aerodynamic surrogate model for flapping wing is obtained after the convergence of *** surrogate model is tested and proved to be able to accurately and quickly predict the time-history curves of lift,thrust and ***,the optimization framework is used to optimize the flapping wing motion in two specific cases,in which the optimized propulsive efficiencies have been improved by over 40%compared with the ***,a dimensionless parameter C_(variation)is proposed to describe the variation of the time-history characteristics,and it is found that C_(variation)of lift varies significantly even under close time-averaged *** the importance of time-history performance in practical applications,the optimization that integrates the propulsion efficiency as well as C_(variation)is carried *** final optimal flapping wing motion balances good time-averaged and time-history performance.

Accurate measurements of the radon exhalation rate help identify and evaluate radon risk regions in the *** these measurement methods,the closed-loop method is frequently ***,traditional experiments are insufficient or cannot analyze the radon migration and exhalation patterns at the gas–solid interface in the accumulation *** CFD-based technique was applied to predict the radon concentration distribution in a limited space,allowing radon accumulation and exhalation inside the chamber intuitively and *** this study,three radon exhalation rates were defined,and two structural ventilation tubes were designed for the *** consistency of the simulated results with the variation in the radon exhalation rate in a previous experiment or analytical solution was *** effects of the vent tube structure and flow rate on the radon uniformity in the chamber;permeability,insertion depth,and flow rate on the radon exhalation rate and the effective diffusion coefficient on back-diffusion were *** on the results,increasing the inser-tion depth from 1 to 5 cm decreased the effective decay constant by 19.55%,whereas the curve-fitted radon exhalation rate decreased(lower than the initial value)as the deviation from the initial value increased by approximately 7%.Increasing the effective diffusion coefficient from 2.77×10^(-7) to 7.77×10^(-6) m^(2) s^(-1) made the deviation expand from 2.14 to 15.96%.The conclusion is that an increased insertion depth helps reduce leakage in the chamber,subject to notable back-diffusion,and that the closed-loop method is reasonably used for porous media with a low effective diffusion coefficient in view of the back-diffusion *** CFD-based simulation is expected to provide guidance for the optimization of the radon exhalation rate measurement method and,thus,the accurate measurement of the radon exhalation rate.
