The insensitivity of semiconductors to visible and infrared light is a key constraint on the utilization of light energy in photocatalytic *** photocatalysts with full-spectrum absorption through surface engineering is an effective approach to fully harnessing light energy in semiconductor ***,a novel stable Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene/CdS heterojunction catalyst is obtained by in-situ epitaxial growth of two-dimensional(2d)CdS nanosheets on 2d MXene interface via a solvothermal *** exceptional light absorption properties of MXene confer outstanding full-spectrum driven photocat-alytic hydrogen evolution capability upon the heterogeneous *** unique 2d/2d structure effectively mitigated the recombination of photogenerated carriers,enhancing the photocatalytic performance of the ***,the composite catalyst exhibits a significantly higher surface temperature of 80.4℃under visible light irradiation at an intensity of 0.1 W/cm^(2),which is 1.84 times higher than that of *** irradiation of visible and near infrared light,the composite catalyst with photothermal ef-fect demonstrates a remarkable hydrogen evolution rate of 65.4 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1),which is 7.2 times higher than that of CdS *** study introduces a novel approach for constructing full-spectrum absorption catalysts and expands the application of the photothermal effect in photocatalytic hydrogen evolution research.

Quantum heat engines and refrigerators are open quantum systems,whose dynamics can be well understood using a non-Hermitian formalism.A prominent feature of non-Hermiticity is the existence of exceptional points(EPs),which has no counterpart in closed quantum *** has been shown in classical systems that dynamical encirclement in the vicinity of an EP,whether the loop includes the EP or not,could lead to chiral mode ***,we show that this is valid also for quantum systems when dynamical encircling is performed in the vicinity of their Liouvillian EPs(LEPs),which include the effects of quantum jumps and associated noise—an important quantum feature not present in previous *** demonstrate,using a Paul-trapped ultracold ion,the first chiral quantum heating and refrigeration by dynamically encircling a closed loop in the vicinity of an *** witness the cycling direction to be associated with the chirality and heat release(absorption)of the quantum heat engine(quantum refrigerator).Our experiments have revealed that not only the adiabaticity breakdown but also the Landau–zener–Stückelberg process play an essential role during dynamic encircling,resulting in chiral thermodynamic *** observations contribute to further understanding of chiral and topological features in non-Hermitian systems and pave a way to exploring the relation between chirality and quantum thermodynamics.

The lower limb exoskeletons are used to assist wearers in various scenarios such as medical and industrial *** modeling errors of the exoskeleton in different application scenarios pose challenges to the robustness and stability of its control *** Radial Basis Function(RBF)neural network is used widely to compensate for modeling *** order to solve the problem that the current RBF neural network controllers cannot guarantee the asymptotic stability,a neural network robust control algorithm based on computed torque method is proposed in this paper,focusing on trajectory *** innovatively incorporates the robust adaptive term while introducing the RBF neural network term,improving the compensation ability for modeling *** stability of the algorithm is proved by Lyapunov method,and the effectiveness of the robust adaptive term is verified by the *** wearing the exoskeleton under different walking speeds and scenarios were carried out,and the results show that the absolute value of tracking errors of the hip and knee joints of the exoskeleton are consistently less than 1.5°and 2.5°,*** proposed control algorithm effectively compensates for modeling errors and exhibits high robustness.

Effect of nano-graphite on mechanical properties and oxidation resistance of zrB_(2)-SiC-graphite electrode ceramics

zrB_(2)-based ceramic composites were prepared by spark plasma sintering using zrB_(2) powder prepared by molten salt method as raw material and SiC and nano-graphite as *** effects of nano-graphite addition on the physical properties and oxidation resistance of zrB_(2)-based ceramic samples were *** results show that the addition of an appropriate amount of nano-graphite can effectively improve the density of zrB_(2)-based ceramic composites and improve the physical properties of the *** flexural strength of the ceramic sample with 8 vol.%nano-graphite reached 418.54 MPa,which was 53.14% higher than that of zrB_(2)-SiC ceramic material(273.31 MPa),and its oxidation resistance was also significantly *** demonstrats that the addition of an appropriate amount of nano-graphite can effectively improve the physical properties and oxidation resistance of zrB_(2)-SiC ceramic *** prolonging its service life in application and promoting the development of zrB_(2)-based ceramic composites,it is of great significance for clean steel smelting.

Three-dimensional geochemical modeling of ore-forming elements is crucial for predicting deep *** approach provides key information for the quantitative prediction of deep mineral localization,three-dimensional fine interpolation,analysis of spatial distribution patterns,and extraction of quantitative mineral-seeking *** Yechangping molybdenum(Mo)deposit is a significant and extensive porphyry-skarn deposit in the East Qinling-dabie Mo polymetallic metallogenic belt at the southern margin of the North China *** borehole data on oreforming elements underpin deep geochemical *** methodology includes the following steps:(1)Threedimensional geological modeling of the deposit was established.(2)Correlation,cluster,and factor analyses post delineation of mineralization stages and determination of mineral generation sequence to identify(Cu,Pb,zn,Ag)and(Mo,W,mfe)assemblages.(3)A three-dimensional geochemical block model was constructed for Mo,W,mfe,Cu,zn,Pb,and Ag using the ordinary kriging method,and the variational function was developed.(4)Spatial distribution and enrichment characteristics analysis of ore-forming elements are performed to extract geological information,employing the variogram and w(Cu+Pb+zn+Ag)/w(Mo+W)as predictive indicators.(5)Identifying the western,northwestern,and southwestern areas of the mine with limited mineralization potential,contrasted by the northeastern and southeastern areas favorable for mineral exploration.

Triaxial mechanical properties and precursors of instability damage in rocks with different laminar dip angles

To investigate the mechanical failure characteristics of volcanic breccia with different bedding dip angles in deep layers,triaxial compression experiments were conducted on specimens taken from volcanic rock layers in the Junggar Basin,*** changing the confining pressure,we compared the mechanical properties,acoustic emission characteristics,and fractal features of the acoustic emission sequence for volcanic breccia with different bedding dip *** research results indicate that as the bedding dip angle increases,peak strength,internal friction angle,and cohesion exhibit a“U-shaped”variation *** correlation dimension of the acoustic emission amplitude was calculated using the G-P algorithm,revealing that volcanic breccia exhibits fractal ***,a positive correlation between the correlation dimension and the bedding dip angle was *** the stress of the test specimen reaches 0.8σ_(c),there is a significant decrease in the fractal dimension,serving as a criterion for predicting the failure of the *** analyzing the changes in fractal dimension at different stress levels,the slope of the fractal dimension△dd as a precursor to failure for test specimens with a bedding dip angle of 15°≤β≤45°.Similarly,when the bedding dip angle of the specimen is 0°≤βddered as a precursor to specimen *** study provides theoretical references for understanding the failure patterns of volcanic rock.

Photodynamic therapy(PdT)is a clinically representative treatment strategy for ***,conventional photosensitizers(PSs)are usually hampered by poor water solubility and low targeting ***,we report the precise molecular engineering of aptamer oligonucleotides to solubilize hydrophobic near-infrared(NIR)PSs for enhanced cancer *** pyropheophorbide A(PA)is precisely conjugated to aptamer oligonucleotides by combing dNA solid-phase synthesis technology and Cu-free click *** coupling of insoluble PA to hydrophilic aptamer oligonucleotides vastly improves its solubility to as high as 750μM in water without any cosolvent,resulting in an enhanced NIR fluorescence property(quantum yield=23%)and ***,the targeting ability of aptamer oligonucleotides is not affected by our molecular engineering *** reactive oxygen species(ROS)are produced intracellularly with 660 nm laser irradiation,eliciting mitochondria damage and cell *** growth is effectively inhibited with a single dose of aptamer-PA conjugates without in vivo *** therapeutic effect is more than 20-fold higher than that of *** with traditional formulation,using aptamer oligonucleotides as functional carriers to solubilize hydrophobic NIR PSs is more precise and *** dNA molecular engineering strategy paves a way for the rational design of molecularly targeted medicine for future clinical cancer therapy.
