Alkyl-thiophene-alkyl linkers to construct double-cable conjugated polymers for single-component organic solar cells

In this work,semirigid linkers of the alkyl-thiophene-alkyl structure are developed to construct double-cable *** alkyl units,propyl(C3h6),hexyl(C6h12),and dodecyl(C12h24),are applied as semirigid linkers,yielding three double-cable polymers:PBC6-T,PBC12-T,and PBC24-T,***12-T which uses C6h12-thiophene-C6h12 linkers is found to exhibit the best device efficiency of 5.56%,while PBC6-T and PBC24-T with shorter or longer linkers yield device efficiencies of only 2.65%and 1.09%in single-component organic solar cells(SCOSCs).Further studies reveal that PBC12-T exhibits higher crystallinity and improved charge transport,resulting in better *** work provides an approach to construct double-cable conjugated polymers with long alkyl linkers,and it shows the importance of the linker length for the photovoltaic performance of SCOSCs.

In this article, we investigated the influence of size and initial water content on the effective diffusion coefficient of sweet potatoes samples cut into cubic and cylindrical shapes. The sizes of the cubic samples are 0.5, 1, 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.5 and 3 cm edge with a respective initial water content of 2.7, 3.76, 3.48, 2.68, 3.28, 2.17 and 2.29 kg/kgms. For cylindrical samples, the radius is set at 0.5 cm and sample heights are 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 cm with respective water contents of 2.2, 3.19, 2.85, 2.1, 2.17, 2.39 and 2.03 kg/kgms. The effective diffusion coefficients of cubic samples are of the order of 10−10 and 10−9 m2∙s−1 grew with sample edge. As for the cylindrical samples, the effective diffusion coefficients were of the order of 10−9 m2∙s−1 and there was no linear correlation between cylinder height and their effective diffusion coefficient. As for the examination of the initial water content on the effective diffusion coefficient, it turned out that the initial water content had no influence on the effective diffusion coefficient of the sweet potato samples.

青藏高原雨季时长及雨季降水量的长尺度定量重建,是揭示高原西风、季风时空演变规律及其生态环境效应的关键,其中准确判断高原雨季的起止时间是研究难点.本文通过寻找降水拐点的方法确定了高原不同地点的雨季起、止时间,并计算了雨季时长和雨季降水量,建立了表土孢粉组合与雨季起止时间、雨季时长和雨季降水量的转换函数,重建了具有年纹层沉积特征的高原北部库赛湖区和中部江错湖区过去2000年来的雨季起止时间、雨季时长和雨季降水量变化.结果表明,过去2000以来,库赛湖区雨季降水序列记录了5次高降水时段:Ad580~680、Ad1000~1100、Ad1200~1450、Ad1550~1780、Ad1920至今,其普遍对应雨季天数长的时段;江错湖区雨季降水序列记录了4次高降水时段:Ad80~500、Ad800~950、Ad1250~1450、Ad1780至今,其与雨季天数长的时段在Ad1000以前对应良好,在Ad1000后关系不明确.在空间上,高原雨季降水呈现出“南北同湿”、“南北同旱”、“南湿北旱”和“南旱北湿”四种模式,其中“南北同湿”可能与异常强盛的夏季风有关,“南北同旱”与弱西风和弱季风有关,“南湿北旱”与强季风和弱西风有关,“南旱北湿”与弱季风和强西风有关.本文从雨季降水的角度揭示了高原2000年来雨季起止时间、雨季时长及雨季降水量的时空演变模式,为进一步认识西风、季风耦合作用提供了自然背景的支持.

Slits have been widely used in laser-plasma interactions as plasma optical components for generating high-harmonic light and controlling laser-driven particle ***,we propose and demonstrate that periodic thin slits can be regarded as a new breed of optical elements for efficient focusing and guiding of intense laser *** fundamental physics of intense laser interaction with thin slits is studied,and it is revealed that relativistic effects can lead to enhanced laser focusing far beyond the pure diffractive focusing *** addition,the interaction of an intense laser pulse with periodic thin slits makes it feasible to achieve multifold enhancement in both laser intensity and energy transfer efficiency compared with conventional *** results provide a novel method for manipulating ultra-intense laser pulses and should be of interest for many laser-based applications.

Ragahama Formation comprises a siliciclastic continental deposits followed by marine carbonates, representing prograding alluvial fans from adjacent high hinterlands seaward into lagoons and fringing reef environments. The present work aimed to document the facies development and sedimentology of the Raghama carbonates exposed along the eastern coastal plain of the Red Sea, northwestern Saudi Arabia. Four stratigraphic sections were measured and sampled(d1–d4) and thin sections and major and trace element analyses were prepared and applied for petrographic and geochemical approaches. The carbonates were subdivided into three successive fore-reef, reef-core, and back-reef depositional facies. Sandy stromatolitic boundstone, microbial laminites, dolomitic ooidal grainstone, bioclastic coralline algal wackestone, sandy bioclastic wackestone, and coral boundstones were the reported microfacies types. Petrographic analysis reveals that the studied carbonates were affected by dissolution, dolomitization, and aggrading recrystallization, which affects both the original micrite matrix and grains or acts as fracture and veinlet filling leading to widespread vuggy and moldic porosity. No evidence of physical compaction, suggesting rapid lithification and recrystallization during early diagenesis and prior to substantial burial and intensive flushing by meteoric waters. Most of the original microstructure of corals were leached and destructed. This is indicated by the higher depletion in Sr and Ca levels and increase in Mg,Na, Fe, and Mn levels, especially in section d1, in comparison with the worldwide carbonates.

Anti-ganglioside antibodies are associated with delayed/poor clinical recovery in Guillain-Barrèsyndrome,mostly related to halted axon ***-linking of cell surface gangliosides by anti-ganglioside antibodies triggers inhibition of nerve repair in in vitro and in vivo paradigms of axon *** effects involve the activation of the small GTPase Rho A/ROCK signaling pathways,which negatively modulate growth cone cytoskeleton,similarly to well stablished inhibitors of axon regeneration described so *** aim of this work was to perform a proof of concept study to demonstrate the effectiveness of Y-27632,a selective pharmacological inhibitor of ROCK,in a mouse model of axon regeneration of peripheral nerves,where the passive immunization with a monoclonal antibody targeting gangliosides Gd1a and GT1b was previously reported to exert a potent inhibitory effect on regeneration of both myelinated and unmyelinated *** results demonstrate a differential sensitivity of myelinated and unmyelinated axons to the pro-regenerative effect of *** with a total dosage of 9 mg/kg of Y-27632 resulted in a complete prevention of anti-Gd1a/GT1b monoclonal antibody-mediated inhibition of axon regeneration of unmyelinated fibers to skin and the functional recovery of mechanical cutaneous *** contrast,the same dose showed toxic effects on the regeneration of myelinated ***,scale down of the dosage of Y-27632 to 5 mg/kg resulted in a significant although not complete recovery of regenerated myelinated axons exposed to anti-Gd1a/GT1b monoclonal antibody in the absence of toxicity in animals exposed to only ***,these findings confirm the in vivo participation of Rho A/ROCK signaling pathways in the molecular mechanisms associated with the inhibition of axon regeneration induced by anti-Gd1a/GT1b monoclonal *** findings open the possibility of therapeutic pharmacological intervention targeting Rho A/R

Superconductor-semiconductor hybrid devices can bridge the gap between solid-state-based and photonics-based quantum systems,enabling new hybrid computing schemes,offering increased scalability and *** example for a hybrid device is the superconducting light-emitting diode(SLEd).SLEds have been theoretically shown to emit polarization-entangled photon pairs by utilizing radiative recombination of Cooper ***,the twophoton nature of the emission has not been shown experimentally *** demonstrate two-photon emission in a GaAs/AlGaAs *** electroluminescence spectra reveal unique two-photon superconducting features below the critical temperature(Tc),while temperature-dependent photon-pair correlation experiments(g(2)(τ,T))demonstrate temperature-dependent time coincidences below Tc between photons emitted from the *** results pave the way for compact and efficient superconducting quantum light sources and open new directions in light-matter interaction studies.
