Background Cerebral cavernous malformations(CCMs)frequently manifest with *** radiosurgery(SRS)has been employed for CCM not suitable for *** effect on reducing haemorrhage risk is still *** aim of this study was to expand on the safety and efficacy of SRS for haemorrhagic *** This retrospective multicentric study included CCM with at least one haemorrhage treated with single-session *** annual haemorrhagic rate(AhR)was calculated before and after *** event analysis and Cox regression were used to evaluate factors associated with *** radiation effects(AREs)and occurrence of new neurological deficits were *** The study included 381 patients (median age:37.5 years(Q1–Q3:25.8–51.9))with 414 *** AhR from diagnosis to SRS excluding the first haemorrhage was 11.08 per 100 CCM-years and was reduced to 2.7 per 100 CCM-years after *** recurrent event analysis,SRS,hR 0.27(95%CI 0.17 to 0.44),pd with a decreased risk of haemorrhage,and the presence of developmental venous anomaly(dVA)with an increased risk,hR 1.60(95%CI 1.07 to 2.40),p=*** cumulative risk of first haemorrhage after SRS was 9.4%(95%CI 6%to 12.6%)at 5 years and 15.6%(95%CI%9 to 21.8%)at 10 *** doses>13 Gy,hR 2.27(95%CI 1.20 to 4.32),p=0.012 and the presence of dVA,hR 2.08(95%CI 1.00 to 4.31),p=0.049 were factors associated with higher probability of post-SRS ***-SRS haemorrhage was symptomatic in 22 out of 381(5.8%)patients,presenting with transient(15/381)or permanent(7/381)neurological *** occurred in 11.1%(46/414)CCM and was responsible for transient neurological deficit in 3.9%(15/381)of the patients and permanent deficit in 1.1%(4/381)of the *** doses>13 Gy and CCM volume>0.7 cc were associated with increased risk of ARE.

Regulating lithium nucleation and growth by zinc modified current collectors

Lithium metal is commonly regarded as the“holy Grail”anode material for high energy density rechargeable ***,the uncontrollable growth of Li dendrites has posed safety concerns and thus greatly hindered its large-scale *** we have modified the surface of a commercial anode current collector,Cu foil,with a thin layer of Zn by a facile electroplating method,in order to regulate the Li nucleation and the following growth *** of the formation of a solid solution buffer layer and Li-Zn alloy phases,the Li nucleation overpotential was dramatically reduced,realizing a uniform Li nucleation and a smooth Li plating *** a result,significantly improved long-term cycling performance with a high Coulombic efficiency was achieved by the lithiophilic Zn coated Cu foil as a current *** cells of Li-LiFePO4 and Li-S using the Li deposited on the Zn modified Cu as the anode,showed increased capacity with low voltage hysteresis and greatly enhanced cycling stability,ascribed to the uniform Li deposition and formation of a stable SEI *** work demonstrates the feasibility of employing lithiophilic modified Cu foils as Li metal current collectors for practical applications.

Recoil polarimetry in meson photoproduction at MAMI

The nucleon excitation spectrum remains poorly known, with the masses, widths, EM couplings and even existence of many states not well established. A program of experiments using meson photoproduction off the nucleon is being carried out to improve this situation. A new large acceptance recoil polarimeter has been developed by the Edinburgh group for use in such reactions with the Crystal Ball at MAMI. This work summarizes the procedure used to measure recoil polarization with the new device and presents some preliminary results for the double polarization observable Cx in the reaction γp→pπ, compared to the current partial wave analysis.

Fabrication of SAW Sensor for detecting Chemical Agent

SAW sensors using five different types of polymer to detect of chemical agents(dMMP,Ch_3CN,Ch_2Cl_2,dCP) have been fabricated and its gas response characteristics were extensively *** polymers used as the sensing material are polyisobutylene(PIB),polyepichlorohydrin(PECh),polydimethylsiloxane(PdMS),polyisoprene(PIP)and polybutadiene(PBd).Their thin films were coated on quartz substrate by spin coating *** types of simulants gases,dimethylmethylphosphonate(dMMP),acetonitrile(Ch_3CN)and dichloromethane(Ch_2Cl_2),dichloropentane(dCP)were used as target gases,instead of the real nerve,blood,choking and vesicant *** spin coating of PIB and PECh,the substrates were heated to 65℃with N_2 flow for 1 h to remove the cyclohexane and ethylacetate which was used as solvent. PdMS was heated to 75℃with N_2 flow for 2 h to remove the ethylacetate which was used as *** and PIP on the substrate were heated to 60℃with N_2 flow for 1 h to remove the benzen which was used as *** sensing characteristics of the SAW sensors were measured by using E-5061A network analyzer.

Modeling the Kinetics of Moisture desorption from Safou Pulp [dacryodes edulis (G. don) ***] before the Oil Extraction Step

The aim of this work is to model the drying kinetics of Safou pulp with or without endocarp using a phenomenological approach. Oven-drying kinetics at 70˚C, 90˚C and 105˚C were monitored using the curves given by the reduced mass as a function of time, which are modeled according to the Avrami/page, Fick and Peleg models using OringinPro 2018 software. The results showed that parameters k and n of the Avrami/Page model vary very little with fruit size and drying temperature (0.0018 ± 0.0002 k n k (Avrami model/page) were virtually identical, while b (Fick model) and n (Avrami model/page) were virtually identical for the same sample. For the Peleg model, the parameter a, varies from 0.0018 ± 0.0002 to 0.03328 ± 0.0079, with a ratio of 18.6 for all experimental conditions studied. however, with 0.977 R2 χ2 have a good fit of the model to the experimental data. The same applies to parameter b, which ranges from 0.82 ± 0.05 to 1.21 ± 0.02. Thus, drying modeling by these three models can be used to describe and predict the progress of oven-drying of safou pulp.

Structure and Magnetic Properties of S-doped Mn_3O_4/S Composited Nanoparticles and Mn_3O_4 Nanoparticles

Composited nanoparticles,consisting of Mn3O4,S-doped Mn3O4 and S,were synthesized by co-precipitation reaction and Mn3O4 nanoparticles were then obtained after removing the pure S from the composited *** Mn3O4-type phase with larger lattice constant a was formed by doping *** fixed temperatures below Curie temperature（TC）,the magnetization of the S-doped Mn3O4/S composited nanoparticles was smaller than that of the Mn3O4 *** blocking temperature was 36.3 and 34.8 K for Sdoped Mn3O4/S composite and Mn3O4 nanoparticles,*** anisotropy field of S-doped Mn3O4/S composite was determined to be about 55.3 kOe.

On p-convergent Operators on Banach Lattices

The notion of a p-convergent operator on a Banach space was originally introduced in 1993 by Castillo and SAnehez in the paper entitled ＂dunford-Pettis-like properties of continuous vector function spaces＂. In the present paper we consider the p-convergent operators on Banach lattices, prove some domination properties of the same and consider their applications （together with the notion of a weak p-convergent operator, which we introduce in the present paper） to a study of the Schur property of order p. Also, the notion of a disjoint p-convergent operator on Banach lattices is introduced, studied and its applications to a study of the positive Schur property of order p are considered.

The Reduction of Thermal Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Emission Using Staged Combustion in Furnace

The experimental study described in this paper is to investigate the control of thermal nitrogen oxides emissions from a 2.28 MW gas-fired test furnace. Tests, including changing axial or radial air flow rate, adding cooling water, and adding staged air, were performed to characterize and opimize the fuel-rich burning zone and the fuel-lean burnout zone independently. detailed measurements of O_2, CO_2, CO, NO and NOx were made at the fuel-rich burning zone and furnace exit. The influence of forming CO, NO and NOx was examined. Results indicated that adding staged air in the fuel-rich burning zone (75 cm from burner) will reduce the mawximum NO and NO_x emissions. Adding cooling water in a right position may further lower the NO and NO_x emissions. In addition, the least formation of thermal nitrogen oxides in the first stooge fuel-rich bunting zone will occur at the stoichiometric ratio's inverse value, (φ_1)^(-1), 0.65 to 0.7.
