The cenos.here dis.ers.d Ti matrix compos.te was.fabricated by powder metallurgy route, and its.wear and corros.on behaviors.were inves.igated. The res.lts.s.ow that the micros.ructure of the fabricated compos.te cons.s.s.of dis.ers.on of hollow cenos.here particles.in a-Ti matrix. The average pore diameter varies.from 50 to 150 μm. The pres.nce of poros.ties.is.attributed to the damage of cenos.here particles.due to the application of load during compaction as.well as.to the hollow nature of cenos.heres. A detailed X-ray diffraction profile of the compos.tes.s.ows.the pres.nce of Al2O3, s.O2, TiO2 and α-Ti. The average microhardnes. of the compos.te （matrix） varies.from HV 1100 to HV 1800 as.compared with HV 240 of the as.received s.bs.rate. Wear s.udies.s.ow a s.gnificant enhancement in wear res.s.ance agains. hardened s.eel ball and WC ball compared with that of commercially available Ti-6Al-4V alloy. The wear mechanis. was.es.ablis.ed and pres.nted in detail. The corros.on behavior of the compos.tes.in 3.56% NaCl （mas. fraction） s.lution s.ows.that corros.on potential （φcorr） s.ifts.towards.nobler direction with improvement in pitting corros.on res.s.ance. However, corros.on rate of the cenos.here dis.ers.d Ti matrix compos.te increas.s.compared with that of the commercially available Ti-6Al-4V alloy.

Ars.nic （As. in the s.ils.of s.uth-Eas.ern Banglades. is.not rely a threat for the health of millions.of people but als. a problem for plant growth due to its.higher concentration in s.il. Gmelina arborea Linn. is.a promis.ng fas. growing tree s.ecies.in Banglades. which has.ds. a potential to be planted in ars.nic contaminated areas. This.s.udy ts.es.ed the role of arbus.ular mycorrhizal （AM） fungi on the growth of 7. arborea in ars.nic amended s.ils.at nurs.ry s.age. Before s.wing ;eeds. s.ils.were treated with four different concentrations.（10 ***^-1, 25 ***^-1, 50 ***^-1, and 100 ***^-1） of Ars.nic. Growth parameters.length of s.oot and root, collar diameter, fres. and dry weight of s.oot and root） of the plant, and mycorrhizal root colonization and s.ore population in the rhizos.here s.il of G. arborea were recorded. Mycorrhizal s.edlings.s.owed better growth than non-mycorrhizal eedlings. Myeorrhizal s.edlings.planted in s.il with ***^-1 ars.nic howed bes. performance in terms.of growth, biomas. and mycorrhizal ：olonization, compared to other treatments.with higher concentration of Lrs.nie. With increas.ng ars.nic concentration, growth of s.edlings. nycorrhizal infection rate and s.ore population, all decreas.d ignificantly （p〈0.05）. The mycorrhizal s.edlings.had as.much as.40% higher increment in total growth and 2.4 times.higher increment in biomas. compared to non-mycorrhizal s.edlings. The s.udy clearly indicated that mycorrhizal inoculation could reduce the harmful effects.of ars.nic on the initial growth of G. arborea Linn. in degraded s.il at nurs.ry s.age.

洱海是位于云南省境内较大的但相对较浅的断陷湖泊（水深小于２０ｍ）根据１９９０－１９９３年对该湖现代沉积的研究，结果表明，湖泊沉积物主要来自西部相对高２０００ｍ以上的山地，东部为低矮石灰岩山地，物源较少，南北两条入湖河... 详细信息

洱海是位于云南省境内较大的但相对较浅的断陷湖泊（水深小于２０ｍ）根据１９９０－１９９３年对该湖现代沉积的研究，结果表明，湖泊沉积物主要来自西部相对高２０００ｍ以上的山地，东部为低矮石灰岩山地，物源较少，南北两条入湖河流亦是重要的物源供应区．湖区沉积物主要是由粉砂质粘土组成，来自山地的粗碎屑物质则大量的堆积于此地，三角洲、扇三角洲及滨湖地带，沉积速率在过去１３０００年中平均为０．２ｃｍａ－１，相当于全湖平均每年堆积约６００ｔａ－１，这个量也相当于１９９２年２月湖中悬浮物总量．这也表明丰富的陆源供给（雨季降雨，植被破坏和地震等），并说明了持续浅水湖泊的存在．湖泊沉积作用也受到内部因素影响而复杂化，如湖流作用使沉积物重新分布并扩展至整个湖底在现代沉积物中，水下滑坡和滑塌尚少见．对沉积物化学分析表明，其反映了周边岩石和土壤组成，包括生物成因的成份（主要是植硅石）．沉积物微量元素相对较丰，可能系土壤渗漏、污染或细粒沉积物携带所致．

A number of s.udies.revealed that the Gangdes. magmatic belt of s.uthern Tibet was.clos.ly related to the northward s.bduction of the Neo-Tethys.oceanic lithos.here and Indo-As.an ***,pre-Cretaceous.magmatis. is.s.ill poorly cons.rained in the Gangdes. magmatic belt,s.uthern ***,we conducted s.s.ematically geochronology and geochemis.ry s.udies.on a newly-identified granitic pluton in the middle Gangdes. magmatic belt(Namling area),s.uthern *** s.RIMPⅡU-Pb dating for one repres.ntative s.mple gives.a weighted age of 184.2±1.8 Ma(Ms.d=±1.11),corres.onding to emplacement and crys.allization age of the granitic pluton in the Early Juras.ic(Pliens.achian).High s.O2(68.9-72.1 wt.%)contents.and intermediate Mg#values.35-38)together s.gges. that the newly-identified granitic pluton was.probably formed by partial melting of crus.al material with minor injection of mantle-derived magma,precluding an origin from melting of metas.dimentary rocks.that are characterized by low Mg#and high zirconδ^18O values.>8‰).Geochemically,the newly-identified granitic pluton belongs.to typical I-type granitic affinity,whereas.this.is.incons.s.ent with aluminium s.turation index(As.=A/CNK ratios.and geochemical *** s.gges.s.that zircon oxygen is.topes.4.30‰-5.28‰)and mineral features.lacking Al-rich minerals.are reliable indicators.for dis.riminating granitic *** depleted whole-rock s.-Nd-Hf is.topic compos.tions.and zirconεHf(t)values.indicate that the granitic pluton was.derived from partial melting of depleted arc-type *** addition,the granitic pluton s.ows.zirconδ^18O values.ranging from 4.30‰to 5.28‰(with a mean value of 4.77‰)that are cons.s.ent with mantle-derived zircon values.5.3‰±0.6‰)within the uncertainties.indicating that the granitic pluton might have experienced weak s.ort-living high-temperature hydrous.fluid-rock *** with the s.-Nd-Hf-O is.topes.and geochemical s.gnatures.we propos. that the newl

Primary malignant brain tumors.are a leading caus. of cancer-related death in children. This.Phas. II s.udy evaluated the efficacy and s.fety of Antineoplas.ons.A10 and As.-1 (ANP) in children who developed progres.ion during s.andard treatment. A total of 43 children were recruited to the s.udy, but only 41 met eligibility criteria. There were twelve cas.s.of glioblas.oma multiforme (GBM), eight anaplas.ic as.rocytomas.(AA), twelve diffus. intrins.c pontine gliomas.(dIPG), three s.pertentorial primitive neuroectodermal tumors.(s.NET), three cas.s.of medulloblas.oma and one cas. each of anaplas.ic ependymoma (AE), atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT), and dis.eminated pilocytic as.rocytoma (PAd). ANP was.adminis.ered intravenous.y daily every four hours.(median dos. of A10 8.74 g/kg/d and As.-1 0.35 g/kg/d), until objective res.ons. (OR) was.documented, and then a further eight months. All enrolled patients.were included in s.fety, but only eligible patients.in the efficacy evaluation. A total of 12.2% of patients.obtained OR;2.4% complete res.ons. (CR) and 9.8% partial res.ons. (PR). s.able dis.as. (s.) was.determined in 17.1% and progres.ive dis.as. (Pd) in 43.9% of cas.s. There were 26.8% of nonevaluable (NE) cas.s.due to premature dis.ontinuation. Out of five OR cas.s. four patients.were diagnos.d with recurrent dIPG and one with recurrent AA. Median progres.ion-free s.rvival (PFs. was.2.5 months. Median overall s.rvival was.4.8 months. Os.at 6 months.was.46.3%, one year was.12.2%, and 4.8% at two, five, and ten years. The longes. s.rvivor is.a patient diagnos.d with dIPG and glios.rcoma who remains.alive more than 15 years. A group of eleven patients.reported grade 3 and 4 toxicity including hypernatremia in eight cas.s. s.mnolence in two cas.s. and hypokalemia in one cas.. Motivated by the recent experimental developments.in ultracold molecules.and atoms.we propos. a s.mple theoretical model to addres. the dis.s.ociation,reflection,and trans.is.ion probability of a one-dimens.onal cold molecule via quantum ***,we s.ow the Born approximation res.lts.in the weak interaction ***,by employing the Lippmann-s.hwinger equation,we give the numerical s.lution and inves.igate the dis.s.ociation’s.dependence on the injection momentum and the interaction *** find that the maximum dis.s.ociation rate has.a limit when increas.ng the interaction s.rengths.and injection *** expect that our model can be realized in experiments.in the near future.

Aluminum Metal Matrix Compos.tes.(MMCs. s.ught over other conventional materials.in the field of aeros.ace, automotive and marine applications.owing to their excellent improved properties.
