Introduction:Pazopanib is an oral protein kinase inhibitor(PKI)that targets vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)receptors,fibroblastic growth factor receptors,platelet-derived growth factor receptors,and stem cell factor that inhibits VEGF-induced cellular *** is approved for use in advanced renal cell carcinoma and subtypes of advanced soft-tissue sarcoma(deguchi et al.,2018).Major adverse drug reactions of pazopanib include hypertension,high-grade hyponatremia and posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome(PRES)(Berardi et al.,2016;deguchi et al.,2018).In clinical trials,few investigations have been conducted to determine the aetiology of PKI-associated hyponatremia,the mechanism remains therefore *** rare cases of PKI-induced syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone(SIAdH)(Largeau et al.,2019),and none with pazopanib,have been *** is a clinical and radiological entity where a bilateral white matter oedema,occurring predominantly in the posterior occipital and parietal lobes,is associated with several neurologic ***,a recent review suggests that SIAdH could be a symptom of PRES(Largeau et al.,2019).To our knowledge,this is the first case published where pazopanib-induced PRES occurs contemporaneously with possible SIAdH.

Three-dimensional structured on-chip stacked zone plates for nanoscale X-ray imaging with high efficiency

Fresnel zone plates are the key optical elements for nanoscale focusing of X-ray beams with high spatial resolution. Conventional zone plates manufactured by planar nanotechnology processes are limited by the achievable aspect ratios of their zone structures. Additionally, ultra-high resolution X-ray optics with high efficiency requires three-dimensional (3-d) shaped tilted zones. The combination of high spatial resolution and high diffraction efficiency is a fundamental problem in X-ray optics. Based on electrodynamical simulations, we find that the optimized zone plate profile for volume diffraction is given by zone structures with radially increasing tilt angles and decreasing zone heights. On-chip stacking permits the realization of such advanced 3-d profiles without significant loss of the maximum theoretical efficiency. We developed triple layer on-chip stacked zone plates with an overlay accuracy of sub-2 nm which fulfills the nanofabrication requirements. Efficiency measurements of on-chip stacked zone plates show significantly increased values compared to conventional zone plates.

Endophytic bacteria of halophytic plants play essential roles in salt stress ***,an understanding of the true nature of plant-microbe interactions under extreme conditions is *** current study aimed to identify cultivable endophytic bacteria associated with the roots and shoots of Seidlitzia rosmarinus *** *** in the salt-affected soil in Uzbekistan and to evaluate their plant beneficial traits related to plant growth stimulation and stress *** were isolated from the roots and the shoots of *** using culture-dependent techniques and identified by the 16S rRNA ***(Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism)analysis was conducted to eliminate similar *** showed that the isolates from the roots of *** belonged to the genera Rothia,Kocuria,Pseudomonas,Staphylococcus,Paenibacillus and *** bacterial isolates from the shoots of *** belonged to the genera Staphylococcus,Rothia,Stenotrophomonas,Brevibacterium,Halomonas,Planococcus,Planomicrobium and Pseudomonas,which differed from those of the ***,Staphylococcus,Rothia and Brevibacterium were detected in both roots and shoots,indicating possible migration of some species from roots to *** root-associated bacteria showed higher levels of IAA(indole-3-acetic acid)synthesis compared with those isolated from the shoots,as well as the higher production of ACC(1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate)*** findings suggest that halophytic plants are valuable sources for the selection of microbes with a potential to improve plant fitness under saline soils.

Measurement system for wind turbine acoustic noise assessment based on IEC standard and Qin＇s model

A novel measurement system specially used in noise emission assessment and verification of wind turbine generator systems is presented that complies with specifications given in IEC 61400-11 to ensure the process consistency and accuracy. Theory elements of the calculation formula used for the sound power level of wind turbine have been discussed for the first time, and detailed calculation procedure of tonality and audibility integrating narrowband analysis and psychoacoustics is described. With a microphone and two PXI cards inserted into a PC, this system is designed in Qin′s model using VMIdS development system. Benefiting from the virtual instrument architecture, it′s the first time that all assessment process have been integrated into an organic whole, which gives full advantages of its efficiency, price, and facility. Mass experiments show that its assessment results accord with the ones given by MEASNET member.

Short-Term Response of Soil Respiration to Addition of Chars:Impact of Fermentation Post-Processing and Mineral Nitrogen

The biodegradability of chars derived from pyrolysis and hydrothermal carbonisation(HTC) was studied in short-term dynamic incubation experiments under controlled conditions. Carbon dioxide C(CO2) emissions from soil-char mixtures in combination with solid digestate or mineral nitrogen(N) fertiliser were measured in dynamic chambers for 10 d. Compared to the original material(maize straw), pyrolysis and HTC chars showed significantly lower CO2 emissions and slower decay dynamics; and compared to the soil control, HTC char increased soil respiration to a significant extent, while pyrolysis char did not. The addition of mineral N resulted in a delayed respiration dynamics for HTC char, while the addition of digestate resulted in an increase in the respired CO2 for pyrolysis char and a decrease for HTC char. For the first time, a peculiar two-stage decay kinetics was observed for HTC char,indicating a highly inhomogeneous substrate consisting at least of two C pools.

Relativistic distorted-Wave Calculations of Electron Impact Excitation Cross Sections of Be-Like C2＋ Ions

A fully relativistic distorted-wave program is developed based on the Grasp92 and Ratip packages to calculate electron impact excitation （EIE） cross sections. As a first application of the program, the EIE cross sections of Be-like C^α＋ ions from the metastable 1s^22s2p^3 p to 1s^22p^2 ^3 p excitation and the inner-shell excitations are calculated systematically. Meanwhile, the correlation effects of target states are discussed. It is found that the correlation effects play an important role in the low energy EIE cross sections. An excellent agreement is found when the results are compared with previous calculations and recent measurements.

Excitation and decay dynamics of 1s2s inner-shell double-vacancy states of neon atoms

The photo-excitation and Auger decay processes of inner-shell double vacancy states 1s2s2p^6（1,3^S）3s3p of neutral neon atoms have been studied theoretically. Multi-configuration dirac-Fock （MCdF） calculations have been carried out, with electron correlation effects taken into consideration. The relaxation of core and excited orbitals and configuration interaction are found to be crucial to creating the double vacancy states by single photo-absorption. The predominant decay paths for the double vacancy states turn out to be of the LLM Auger decay to 1s 2s^22p^53s（3p）, KLL Auger decay to 1s^22s2p^43s3p, and KLM Auger decay to 1s^22p^63s（3p）. They lead to further Auger decay, creating the neon ions of multiple charge states. For both double and single vacancy states the spectator type of Auger process is dominated in all the Auger decay processes. Theoretical Anger electron spectra are presented for further investigations, experimental and theoretical.

The angular distribution and polarization of the x-ray photoemission of highly charged helium-like ions is studied following the K-LL dielectronic recombination of initially hydrogen-like *** is carried out within the framework of the density matrix theory combined with the multiconfiguration dirac-Fock *** is paid to magnetic sublevel alignment in the resonant intermediate state and to its nonuniform radiative decay *** is shown that the Breit interaction between the incident and target electrons plays a significant role for the alignment of the resonant state and thus causes a substantial change in the x-ray emission characteristic,when compared to the incorporation of only the(non-relativistic)Coulomb *** most prominent difference in alignment parameter is found in the 2s2p_(1/2) J=1 resonant state for a wide range of atomic numbers from 9 to *** this resonant state of helium-like ions,the Breit interaction becomes significant for ions with nuclear charge Z~30 already.

detailed calculations are carried out for the electron-impact excitation cross sections from the ground state to the individual magnetic sublevels of the 1s2s^(2)2p^(3)/2 J=2 excited state of highly-charged beryllium-like ions by using a fully relativistic distorted-wave(RdW)*** contributions of the Breit interaction to the linear polarization of the 1s2s^(2)2p^(3)/2 J=2→1s22s2 J=0 magnetic quadrupole(M2)line are investigated systematically for the beryllium isoelectronic sequence with 42≤Z≤*** is found that the Breit interaction depolarizes significantly the linear polarization of the M2 fluorescence radiation and that these depolarization effects increase as the incident electron energy and/or the atomic number is enlarged.

Emergent reintubation following elective cervical surgery:A case series

AIM To review cases of emergent reintubation after cervical *** Patients who were emergently intubated in the postoperative period following cervical surgery were identified. The patients' prospectively documented demographic parameters, medical history and clinical symptoms were ascertained. Pre-operative radiographs were examined for the extent of their pathology. The details of the operative procedure were *** Eight hundred and eighty patients received anterioror combined anterior-posterior cervical surgery from 2008-2013. Nine patients(1.02%) required emergent reintubation. The interval between extubation to reintubation was 6.2 h [1-12]. Patients were kept intubated after reintubation for 2.3 d [2-3]. Seven patients displayed moderate postoperative edema. One patient was diagnosed with a compressive hematoma whichwas subsequently evacuated in the OR. Another patient was diagnosed with a pulmonary effusion and treated with diuretics. One patient received a late debridement for an infected hematoma. Six patients reported residual symptoms and three patients made a complete recovery. CONCLUSION Respiratory compromise is a rare but potentially life threatening complication following cervical surgery. Patients at increased risk should be monitored closely for extended periods of time post-operatively. If the airway is restored adequately in a timely manner through emergent re-intubation, the outcome of the patients is generally favorable.
