Background: Violence against women has become an international public health and human rights issue in recent decad.s. The violence suffered by sex workers is of little interest for research, yet it constitutes a major health and.safety problem. We propose to assess the extent of the phenomenon of gender-based violence (GBV) among sex workers (sWs) in the city of Bangui in the CAr. Methodology: This is a des.r.ptive cross-sectional epidemiological study covering the period from July to October 2021 carried out among sWs in Bangui, the capital of the CAr. Given that the sWs association had only 159 members in Bangui, an exhaustive sampling was.r.tained. Were included in the study, any sW present during the data collection period and having given their written consent. The parameters studied were socio-demographic characteristics: age, sex, residence, level of education, marital status, and characteristics linked to violence: the notion of violence during their professional activity, the type of violence, the declaration and the declaration if necess.r., the response and management of this violence. The data collected was analyzed using Epi info version 7 software. results: Of the 159 sWs that counted the association, 108 had been included. The average age was 27.0 years with extremes of 14 and 46 years. The age groups of 25 to 34 years were the most represented (43.5%). Fifty-six sWs (51.9%) had reached the secondary level. Unemployed.sWs were in the majority at 74.1%;sixty-six (66) sWs in our sample (61.1%) had already been victims of violence during the exercise of their activity sexual violence was the most represented (28.5%) followed by verbal violence (22.4%). sixty-eight (62.9%) wanted to stop the professional activity of sWs and 93.1% would accept another income-generating activity in place of sex work. Conclusion: It is necess.r. to supervise sWs and protect them within the framework of respect for human rights, rather than criminalizing them and the exploit

This paper presents a review of the position-sensitive detector(Psd) sens.r. covering different types of Psd and recent works.r.lated to this field. Furthermore, it explains the theoretical concepts and provid.s information about its s.r.cture and principles of operation. Moreover, it includ.s the main information about the available commercial Psds from different companies, along with a comparison between the common modules. The Psd features include high position resolution, fast response, and a wide dynamic range. These features make it suitable for various fields and applications, such as imaging, spectrometry, spectroscopy and others.

Artificial fishponds play a pivotal role in global aquaculture, s.r.ing as a source of livelihood and nourishment for many communities. Ens.r.ng the sustained health and productivity of Fishes in these environments.r.lies heavily on water quality management. This assessment was done to determine the water quality of ten artificial fishponds in the south-eastern part of sierra Leone using twelve physicochemical factors (pH, BOd, EC, Tds, turbidity, COd, Fesup>2+sup>, Mgsup>2+sup>, Casup>2+sup>, NHsub>3sub>, , and alkalinity) to find out the Water Quality Index (WQI) and.spatial dis.r.bution of respective parameters. The assessment of artificial fishponds using WQI and Inverse d.stant Weighting (IdW) integration represents a relatively underexplored area within the domain of environmental water resources. The WQI was determined using the “Weighted Arithmetic Water Quality Index’’ method. The results of WQI in the study area range from 65.05 to 147.26. several locations have water quality deemed unsuitable for consumption, while others.r.nge from good to very poor. It is essential to address and improve water quality in locations categorized as unsuitable for consumption and very poor to ens.r. safe and healthy water sources. It was also clear from the calculation that the smaller the mean concentration value of the pH as compared to the ideal value (7), the smaller the WQI value and the better the water quality. To keep the artificial fishpond water in good condition, mass domestic use should be controlled, and draining of s.r.ounding organic matter should be stopped in ponds Bo_001, Kenema_001, and Kenema_002.

In this study,we investigated the anomalous Chromomagnetic dipole Moment(CMdM),denoted as μ_(q)^(BLHM),of light quarks q=(u,c,d.s,b) within the framework of the Bestest Little Higgs Model(BLHM)as an extension of the standard Model(sM).Our investigation encompassed novel interactions among the light quarks,heavy quark B,and heavy bosons (W'^(±),H^(±),φ^(±),η^(±))incorporating the extended Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa(CKM)matrix characteristic of the *** thoroughly explored the permissible parameter space,yielding a spectrum of CMdM values.r.nging from 10^(-10) to 10^(-3).

rhombohedral phase Hf_(x)Zr_(1.x)O_(2)(HZO,x from 0 to 1)films are promising for achieving robust ferroelectric polarization without the need for an initial wake-up pre-cycling,as is normally the case for the more commonly studied orthorhombic ***,a large spontaneous polarization obs.r.ed in rhombohedral films is not fully understood,and there are also large dis.r.pancies between experimental and theoretical *** this work,in rhombohedral ZrO_(2)thin films,we show that oxygen vacancies are not only a key factor for stabilizing the phase,but they are also a source of ferroelectric polarization in the *** is shown experimentally through the investigation of the s.r.ctural properties,chemical composition and the ferroelectric properties of the films before and after an annealing at moderate temperature(400℃)in an oxygen environment to reduce the V_(o)concentration *** experimental work is supported by density functional theory(dFT)calculations which show that the rhombohedral phase is the most stable one in highly oxygen defective ZrO_(2)*** dFT calculations also show that V_(o)contribute to the ferroelectric *** findings.r.veal the importance of V_(o)for stabilizing rhombohedral ZrO_(2)thin films with superior ferroelectric properties.
