Measurements of energetic particles obtained by the two geosynchronous satellites （1991-080 and LANL-97A） are performed to investigate the plasma injection boundary and source region during the magnetospheric substorms. The measurement method is developed to allow remote sensing of the plasma injection time and the radial distance of injection boundaries by using measured energy dispersion and modelling particle drifts within the Volland-Stern electric field and the dipole magnetic field model. The radial distance of the injection boundary deduced from a dispersion event observed by the LANL-97A satellite on 14 June 1998 is 7.1RE, and the injection time agrees well with the substorm onset time identified by the Polar Ultraviolet Imager. The method has been applied to an event happened at 22.9 UT on 11 March 1998, when both the satellites （1991-080 and LANL-97A） observed the dispersionless character. The results indicate that the radial distance of injection source locates at 8.1RE at magnetotail, and particles move earthward from magnetotail into inner magnetosphere at 22.5 UT.

Accurate descriptions of matrix diffusion across the fracture/matrix interface are critical to assessing contaminant migration in fractured media. The classical transfer probability method is only applicable for relatively large diffusion coefficients and small fracture spacings, due to an intrinsic assumption of an equilibrium concentration profile in the matrix blocks. Motivated and required by practical applications, we propose a direct numerical simulation （dNS） approach without any empirical assumptions. A three-step Lagrangian algorithm was developed and validated to directly track the particle dynamics across the fracture/matrix interface, where particle＇s diffusive displacement across the discontinuity is controlled by an analytical, one-side reflection probability. Numerical experiments show that the dNS approach is especially efficient for small diffusion coefficients and large fracture spacings, alleviating limitations of the classical modeling approach.

Objective:Transversus abdominus release(TAR)is often required to achieve apposition of the rectus muscles and achieve wide mesh reinforcement of the abdominal ***,TAR has been done with an open technique(oTAR),and the benefits of the newer robotic approach(rTAR)has not been well established in the Australian *** aim of this study was to compare the results of oTAR with rTAR to demonstrate its safety and ***:A retrospective review of patients who underwent rTAR and oTAR at two tertiary hospitals was conducted between January 2018 and January 2020 in New South Wales,*** demographics,perioperative and postoperative outcomes were compared in both ***:There were 26 patients identified to have undergone TAR(13 rTAR,13 oTAR).Both groups were comparable in regards to age,sex and defect *** was associated with a higher American Society of Anaesthesiologist *** was associated with significantly longer average operative time(260.0±78.9 min vs.185.7±64.5 min,p=0.017)but found to have a significantly shorter length of stay(3.6±2.1 d vs.6.9±3.6 d,p=0.007)with a comparable complication ***:rTAR is associated with shorter length of hospital stay with comparable postoperative outcomes when compared to *** are seeing increasing evidence supporting the safety and benefits of robotics,however larger scale studies are required to fully understand this approach.

超积累植物的确证对成功实施重金属污染环境植物修复是必不可少的。通过野外调查和营养液培养试验 ,研究超积累植物商陆 (PhytolaccaacinosaRoxb )的锰富集特性 ,结果表明 ,商陆对生长介质中的Mn具有很强的耐性和累积能力。商陆在锰含量高达 114× 10 3 mgkg-1的尾矿废弃地上依然生长良好 ,叶锰含量最高达 19 3× 10 3 mgkg-1。温室培养条件下 ,当生长介质中Mn浓度为 8 0 0 0mmolL-1时 ,虽然其生物量与对照相比有所降低 ,但植株仍能生长。随着生长介质中Mn浓度的升高 ,商陆叶和茎的Mn含量逐渐增加 ,生物富集系数则逐渐降低 ,但是地上部分锰积累量则先增加后减少。当Mn浓度为 5 0 0 0mmolL-1时 ,商陆地上部分锰积累量达到最大值 2 5 8 2mgplant-1;当Mn浓度为 12 0 0 0mmolL-1时 ,商陆仍能完成整个生命周期 ,叶锰含量达到最大值 36 4× 10 3 mgkg-1,生物富集系数为 5 5。不同锰供应水平下 ,商陆吸收的锰有87%～ 95 %被转移到地上部分。这进一步验证商陆的锰超积累特性 ,为利用超积累植物对大面积污染土壤实施植物修复提供了有力证据。

Exohiss is a low-frequency structureless whistler-mode emission potentially contributing to the precipitation loss of radiation belt electrons outside the plasmasphere. Exohiss is usually considered the plasmaspheric hiss leaked out of the dayside ***, the evolution of exohiss after the leakage has not been fully understood. Here we report the prompt enhancements of exohiss waves following substorm injections observed by Van Allen Probes. Within several minutes, the energetic electron fluxes around 100 keV were enhanced by up to 5 times, accompanied by an up to 10-time increase of the exohiss wave power. These substorm-injected electrons are shown to produce a new peak of linear growth rate in the exohiss band(ding path-integrated growth rate of wave power within 10° latitude of the magnetic equatorial plane can reach 13.4, approximately explaining the observed enhancement of exohiss waves. These observations and simulations suggest that the substorm-injected energetic electrons could amplify the preexisting exohiss waves.

Preeclampsia is one of the most serious conditions at the end of pregnancy, causing increased perinatal morbidity and mortality to the pregnant mother and her product of conception. It remains a high-risk disease in ethnic minorities worldwide. Conception involves fetal invasion and implantation, followed by an actively forming and shedding decidua, an important uterine activity facilitating placental development. dysregulation in conception mediates functional changes that induce onset of preeclampsia. The pathophysiology of preeclampsia primarily results from impaired trophoblastic invasion and implantation with subsequent vasculopathy. These events trigger exaggerated ischemic, inflammatory and immunologic events in the placenta bed that disrupt implantation. As the underlying mechanism(s) of preeclampsia remain obscure, there is increasing evidence that Vitamin d deficiency during pregnancy potentiates hypertensive states that could lead to the development of preeclampsia. As a prohormone, Vitamin d regulates molecular events within central pathophysiological pathways of implantation and vascular development. We review shared pathways involving Vitamin d modulation of pathologic events in implantation associated with preeclampsia. Understanding the causal mechanisms between Vitamin d and preeclampsia during early stages of conception could allude to development of candidate markers for treatment or screening, and decipher “hot spots” for research and intervention of, at-risk pregnant mothers.
