Accurate prediction of air quality response to emissions for effective control policy design

designing effective control policy requires accurate quantification of the relationship between the ambient concentrations of o3and PM2.5and the emissions of their ***,the challenge is that precursor reduction does not necessarily lead to decreases in the concentrations of o3and PM2.5,which are formed by multiple precursors under complex physical and chemical processes;this calls for the development of advanced model technologies to provide accurate predictions of the nonlinear responses of air quality to *** from the traditional sensitivity analysis and source apportionment methods,the reduced form models(RFMs)based.on chemical transport models(CTMs)are able to quantify air quality responses to emissions more accurately and efficiently with lower computational *** we review recent approaches used in RFMs and compare their structures,advantages and disadvantages,performance and *** general,RFMs are classified into three types including(1)sensitivity-based models,(2)models with simplified chemistry and physical processes,and(3)statistical models,with considerable differences in principles,characteristics and application *** prediction of nonlinear responses by RFMs enables more in-depth analysis,not only in terms of real-time prediction of concentrations and quantification of human exposure,health impacts and economic damage,but also in optimizing control ***,data assimilation and emission inventory inversion based.on the nonlinear response of concentrations to emissions can also be greatly beneficial to air pollution control *** future studies,improvement in the performance of CTMs is exceedingly crucial to obtain a more reliable baseline for the prediction of air quality *** of models to determine the air quality response to emissions under varying meteorological conditions is also necessary in the context of future climate changes,which pose great challenges to the qua

The objective in this study is to investigate the ad.orption-degradation of the methylene blue(MB)dye using a fabricated heterojunction Ag@Tio_(2)*** batch factors used in photo catalytic reactions were pH,UV-irradiation time,temperature,catalytic dosage,and concentration of *** results showed that 0.2×10^(3) g·ml^(-1))of the catalytic dose caused the Ag@Tio_(2)ad.orption to degrade by 96.67%with darks and UV *** the Langmuir-Hinshelwood model to determine the kinetic,the Ag@Tio_(2)displays a greater kinetic rate than Tio_(2)and silver nanoparticle(AgNPs).The photocatalytic degradation of MB,which is an endothermic reaction involving all catalysts,is shown by the thermodynamic parameter to have the positive value of enthalpy(ΔH°).The enthalpies observed were Ag@Tio_(2)(126.80 kJ·mol^(-1))ol^(-1))o_(2)(430.04 kJ·mol^(-1)).Ascorbic acid(·oH scavenger),2-propanol(·o_(2)scavenger),and ammonium oxalate(Ao)(hole h+scavenger)were employed to conduct the scavenger *** Ag@Tio_(2)demonstrated a reduction in MB degradation when combined with 2-propanol,and this clearly demonstrated that,in contrast to hyd.oxyl radicals(·oH)and holeh scavengers,superoxide radical anion(o_(2)scavenger)plays a significant role in MB *** density functional theory(dFT)to elucidate the mechanism and B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p)level optimization,the degradation-ad.orption process was *** the N-N,C-N or C-C bonds were severed,the Fukui faction was demonstrated for nucleophilic,electrophilic,and radical attack.

This study presents the multifunctional characteristics of multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWCNT)/polypropylene random copolymer(PPR) composites enabled via fused filament fabrication(FFF) under monotonic and quasi-static cyclic compression. Utilizing in-house MWCNT-engineered PPR filament feedstocks, both bulk and cellular composites were realized. The morphological features of nanocomposites were examined via scanning electron microscopy, which reveals that MWCNTs are uniformly dispersed. The uniformly dispersed MWCNTs forms an electrically conductive network within the PPR matrix, and the resulting nanocomposite shows good electrical conductivity(~10^(-1)S/cm), improved mechanical performance(modulus increases by 125% and compressive strength increases by 25% for 8 wt% MWCNT loading) and pronounced piezoresistive response(gauge factor of 27.9-8.5 for bulk samples)under compression. The influence of strain rate on the piezoresistive response of bulk samples(4 wt% of MWCNT) under compression was also measured. Under repeated cyclic compression(2% constant strain amplitude), the nanocomposite exhibited stable piezoresistive performance up to 100 cycles. The piezoresistive response under repeated cyclic loading with increasing strain amplitude of was also *** gauge factor of BCC and FCC cellular composites(4 wt% of MWCNT) with a relative density of 30%was observed to be 46.4 and 30.2 respectively, under compression. The higher sensitivity of the BCC plate-lattice could be attributed to its higher degree of stretching-dominated deformation behavior than the FCC plate-lattice, which exhibits bending-dominated behavior. The 3d printed cellular PPR/MWCNT composites structures were found to show excellent piezoresistive self-sensing characteristics and.open new avenues for in situ structural health monitoring in various applications.

High quality polytene chromosome maps （n=3） of a Himalayan Simuliid Simulium praelargum datta, 1973 are presented and represent the first cytological description of a taxon found in the feuerborni group, subgenus Nevermannia. Polytene chromosomes one （I） and two （II） are metacentric, chromosome three （III） is submetacentric with the length of each chromosome occupying 37.25 %, 31.36 % and 31.34 % of the total complement length, respectively. Typical simuliid diagnostic intergeneric chromosomal markers are found within the polytene complement of this species. The nucleolar organizer （N.o.） is found at the base of the short arm of chromosome one （IS）, the Ring of Balbiani （R.B.）, double bubble （d.B.） and triad.occur in the short arm of chromosome two （IIS）, the Parabalbiani Ring （EB.） and grey band （gb） occur in the long arm of chromosome two （IIL） and the Blister （BL） and Capsule （Ca） occur in the short arm of chromosome three （IIIS）.Terminal bands at the end.of IIIS are heterochromatinized and present atypically with respect to other simuliid fauna. Populations studied so far are unique among the Simuliidae in that they exhibit chromosome structural monomorphism. These high resolution polytene chromosome maps will form the basis for future cytological characterization and phylogenetic comparisons amongst members of the feuerborni group

Background:With the development of rapid and cheap sequencing techniques,the cost of whole-genome sequencing(WGS)has d.opped ***,the complexity of the human genome is not limited to the pure sequenceand additional experiments are required to learn the human genome's influence on complex *** of the most exciting aspects for scientists nowadays is the spatial organisation of the genome,which can be discovered using spatial experiments(e.g.,Hi-C,ChIA-PET).The information about the spatial contacts helps in the analysis and brings new insights into our understanding of the disease ***:We have used an ensemble of deep learning with classical machine learning *** deep learning network we used was dNABERT,which utilises the BERT language model(based.on transformers)for the genomic *** classical machine learning models included support vector machines(SVMs),random forests(RFs),and K-nearest neighbor(KNN).The whole approach was wrapped together as deep hybrid learning(dHL).Results:We found that the dNABERT can be used to predict the ChIA-PET experiments with high ***,the dHL approach has increased the metrics on CTCF and RNAPII ***:dHL approach should be taken into consideration for the models utilising the power of deep *** straightforward in the concept,it can improve the results significantly.

Zirconia graphite refractory is used as a core-nozzle in the thin-strip casting of steel. Post-mortem analysis of used refractory was performed in an effort to establish the failure mechanism. Corrosion behavior was studied against molten steel with Mn o- Sio 2based liquid inclusions. Corrosion of these materials involves dissolution and.oxidation of graphite in the matrix followed by penetration of liquid slag leading to degradation of Zro 2particles. Thermodynamic equilibrium calculations were performed to study this corrosion mechanism.

We have studied the single-neutron stripping reaction induced by ^23o on carbon target at beam energy of 72 MeV//A with a motive to analyze its ground state structure. The partial stripping cross sections as well as longitudinal momentum distribution of ^22o core have been calculated within the framework of the eikonal approximation approach. Several core-neutron spin coupling configurations, corresponding to J^π= 1/2 ＋ as ground state spin parity of ^23o, along with their suitable admixtures have been considered. The major outcome of the present work is that the s and d admixed configuration with a large contribution of s state seems to explain the longitudinal momentum distribution data more satisfactorily.
