Photobiomod.lation,originally used.red.and.near-infrared.lasers,can alter cellular *** has been d.monstrated.that the visible spectrum at 451-540 nm d.es not necessarily increase cell proliferation,near-infrared.light promotes ad.pose stem cell proliferation and.affects ad.pose stem cell migration,which is necessary for the cells homing to the site of *** this in vitro stud.,we explored.the potential of ad.pose-d.rived.stem cells to d.fferentiate into neurons for future translational regenerative treatments in neurod.generative d.sord.rs and.brain *** investigated.the effects of various biological and.chemical ind.cers on trans-d.fferentiation and.evaluated.the impact of photobiomod.lation using 825 nm near-infrared.and.525 nm green laser light at 5 J/*** ad.pose-d.rived.stem cells can be used.in autologous grafting and.photobiomod.lation has been shown to have biostimulatory *** find.ngs reveal that ad.pose-d.rived.stem cells can ind.ed.trans-d.fferentiate into neuronal cells when exposed.to ind.cers,with pre-ind.ced.cells exhibiting higher rates of proliferation and.trans-d.fferentiation compared.with the control ***,green laser light stimulation led.to notable morphological changes ind.cative of enhanced.trans-d.fferentiation,while near-infrared.photobiomod.lation notably increased.the expression of neuronal *** biochemical analysis and.enzyme-linked.immunosorbent assays,we observed.marked.improvements in viability,proliferation,membrane permeability,and.mitochond.ial membrane potential,as well as increased.protein levels of neuron-specific enolase and.ciliary neurotrophic ***,our results d.monstrate the efficacy of photobiomod.lation in enhancing the trans-d.fferentiation ability of ad.pose-d.rived.stem cells,offering promising prospects for their use in regenerative med.cine for neurod.generative d.sord.rs and.brain injuries.

Spinal cord.injuries have profound.d.trimental effects on ind.vid.als, regard.ess of whether they are caused.by trauma or non-traumatic events. The compromised.regeneration of the spinal cord.is primarily attributed.to d.maged.neurons, inhibitory molecules, d.sfunctional immune response, and.glial scarring. Unfortunately, currently, there are no effective treatments available that can fully repair the spinal cord.and.improve functional outcomes. Nevertheless, numerous pre-clinical approaches have been stud.ed.for spinal cord.injury recovery, includ.ng using biomaterials, cells, d.ugs, or technological-based.strategies. Combinatorial treatments, which target various aspects of spinal cord.injury pathophysiology, have been extensively tested.in the last d.cad.. These approaches aim to synergistically enhance repair processes by ad.ressing various obstacles faced.d.ring spinal cord.regeneration. Thus, this review intend. to provid. scientists and.clinicians with an overview of pre-clinical combinatorial approaches that have been d.veloped.toward.the solution of spinal cord.regeneration as well as upd.te the current knowled.e about spinal cord.injury pathophysiology with an emphasis on the current clinical management.

Strategic Analysis of a Regulatory Conflict Using d.mpster-Shafer Theory and.AHP for Preference Elicitation

d.mpster-Shafer Theory (d.T) and.the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) are integrated.in ord.r to elicit preference information from experts regard.ng d.cision makers (d.s) involved.in a regulatory conflict. More precisely, d.T is used.for combining expert knowled.e regard.ng preferences of a specific d. (the regulatory bod.), and.AHP is employed.for ranking feasible states in the conflict for this same d.. In ord.r to illustrate how this preference elicitation proposal can be conveniently implemented.in practice within the Graph Mod.l for Conflict Resolution (GMCR), it is applied.to a real construction d.spute located.in the city of Ipojuca, Brazil. The conflict is mod.led.with three d.s: support, opposition, and.the regulatory bod.. Results show that the new preference method.logy possesses many inherent ad.antages includ.ng high flexibility the ability to capture uncertainty or even ignorance about preferences, the possibility of combining expert knowled.e with respect to missing preferences, and.a substantial red.ction in the number of pairwise comparisons of states required.to express preference information.

Evid.nces for Incipient Hyd.othermal Event(s) in the Central Ind.an Basin: A Review

The Central Ind.an Basin (CIB, 10°-19°S) encompasses morphotectonic features such as seamounts, abyssal hills, faults, fracture zones and.lineations and.basic to silicic volcanics that were d.rived.from d.fferent sources. Instances of incipient hyd.othermal event (s) occurred.as evid.nt from: (1) spilites that probably formed.d.e to low-temperature hyd.othermal action on the precursory basalts, (2) slabs and.fragments of zeolitites which are the consequent prod.cts of palagonitization of the basaltic glasses, (3) chemical variations in the ferromanganese crusts, and.(4) abund.nce of volcanogenic-hyd.othermal material (vhm) that includ.s ochrous sed.ments and.magnetite spherules. The vhm suggests its origin by interaction of Fe-rich hyd.othermal solutions with surround.ng sed.ments. The CIB spherules occur in sed.ments of~10 ka and.~425 to 650 ka age and.are ord.rs of magnitud. younger than the 50 to 60 Ma age of the basin. Incid.ntally, to the north of the basin at Od. Site 717-719(1 °S/81 °E) hyd.othermal precipitates of inorganic calcite and.d.position of sulphid. minerals (~7.5 to 9 Ma and.0.5 Ma) occur as a result of the on-going intraplate d.formation. This paper reviews the above evid.nces that possibly ind.cate episod.s of localized.hyd.othermal events in the CIB.

This paper shows how the so called.von Karman mod.l can be obtained.as a singular limit of a mod.fied.Mind.in-Timoshenko system when the mod.lus of elasticity in shear κ tend. to infinity, provid.d.a regularizing term through a fourth ord.r d.spersive operator is ad.ed. Introd.cing d.mping mechanisms, the authors also show that the energy of solutions for this mod.fied.Mind.in-Timoshenko system d.cays exponentially, uniformly with respect to the parameter k. As κ→∞, the authors obtain the d.mped.von Karman mod.l with associated.energy exponentially d.caying to zero as well.
