A Trajectory Privacy Protection Method to Resist Long-Term Observation Attacks

Users face the threat of trajectory privacy leakage when using location-based service applications, especially when their behavior is collected and stored for a long period of time. This accumulated information is exploited by opponents, greatly increasing the risk of trajectory privacy leakage. This attack method is called a long-term observation attack. On the premise of ensuring lower time overhead and higher cache contribution rate, the existing methods cannot utilize cache to answer subsequent queries while also resisting long-term observation attacks. So this article proposes a trajectory privacy protection method to resist long-term observation attacks. This method combines caching technology and improves the existing differential privacy mechanism, while incorporating randomization factors that are difficult for attackers to recognize after long-term observation to enhance privacy. Search for locations in the cache of both the mobile client and edge server that can replace the user’s actual location. If there are replacement users in the cache, the query results can be obtained more quickly. Simultaneously obfuscating the spatiotemporal correlation of actual trajectories by generating confusion regions. If it does not exist, the obfuscated location generation method that resists long-term observation attacks is executed to generate the real anonymous area and send it to the service provider. The above steps can comprehensively protect the user’s trajectory privacy. The experimental results show that this method can protect user trajectories from long-term observation attacks while ensuring low time overhead and a high cache contribution rate.

In the era of precision medicine,it has been increasingly recognized that individuals with a certain disease are complex and different from each *** to the underestimation of the significant heterogeneity across participants in traditional"one-sizefits-all"trials,patient-centered trials that could provide optimal therapy customization to individuals with specific biomarkers were developed including the basket,umbrella,and platform trial designs under the master protocol *** recent years,the successive FdA approval of indications based on biomarker-guided master protocol designs has demonstrated that these new clinical trials are ushering in tremendous *** the rapid increase in the number of basket,umbrella,and platform trials,the current clinical and research understanding of these new trial designs,as compared with traditional trial designs,remains *** majority of the research focuses on methodologies,and there is a lack of in-depth insight concerning the underlying biological logic of these new clinical trial ***,we provide this comprehensive review of the discovery and development of basket,umbrella,and platform trials and their underlying logic from the perspective of precision ***,we discuss future directions on the potential development of these new clinical design in view of the"Precision Pro","dynamic Precision",and"Intelligent Precision".This review would assist trial-related researchers to enhance the innovation and feasibility of clinical trial designs by expounding the underlying logic,which be essential to accelerate the progression of precision medicine.

Rapid Phase Ambiguity Elimination Methods for dOA Estimator via Hybrid Massive MIMO Receive Array

For a sub-connected hybrid multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) receiver with K subarrays and n antennas, there exists a challenging problem of how to rapidly remove phase ambiguity in only single time-slot. A direction of arrival(dOA) estimator of maximizing received power(Max-RP) is proposed to find the maximum value of K-subarray output powers, where each subarray is in charge of one sector, and the center angle of the sector corresponding to the maximum output is the estimated true dOA. To make an enhancement on precision, Max-RP plus quadratic interpolation(Max-RP-QI) method is designed. In the proposed Max-RP-QI, a quadratic interpolation scheme is adopted to interpolate the three dOA values corresponding to the largest three receive powers of *** achieve the Cramer Rao lower bound, a Root-MUSIC plus Max-RP-QI scheme is developed. Simulation results show that the proposed three methods eliminate the phase ambiguity during one time-slot and also show low computational complexities. The proposed Root-MUSIC plus Max-RP-QI scheme can reach the Cramer Rao lower bound,and the proposed Max-RP and Max-RP-QI are still some performance losses 2–4 d B compared to the Cramer Rao lower bound.

Construction of Z-scheme Cu-CeO_(2)/BiOBr heterojunction for enhanced photocatalytic degradation of sulfathiazole

The utilization of an efficient photocatalyst is crucial for the photocatalytic degradation of antibiotics in water through visible light,which is an imperative requirement for the remediation of water *** this study,a novel Cu-CeO_(2)/BiOBr Z-type heterojunction was synthesized by calcination and hydrothermal methods,and the degradation rate of sulfathiazole(STZ)antibiotic solution was studied using simulated illumination(300 W xenon lamp).The results indicated that 3%Cu-CeO_(2)/BiOBr achieved a degradation rate of 92.3%within 90 min when treating 20 mg/L STZ solution,demonstrating its potential for practical water treatment *** using various chemical instruments revealed that 3%Cu-CeO_(2)/Bi OBr exhibited the lowest electron-hole recombination rate and electron transfer ***,the utilization of ESR data and quenching experiments has substantiated the involvement of hydroxyl radicals(·OH)and superoxide radicals(·O_(2)^(-))as the primary active ***,a plausible degradation mechanism has been *** findings offer a prospective approach for the development of heterojunction materials with appropriate band matching.

Hexokinase 1 and 2 mediates glucose utilization to regulate the synthesis of kappa casein via ribosome protein subunit 6 kinase 1 in bovine mammary epithelial cells

Glucose plays a vital part in milk protein synthesis through the mTOR signaling pathway in bovine mammary epithelial cells(BMEC). The objectives of this study were to determine how glucose affects hexokinase(HK) activity in BMEC and investigate the regulatory effect of HK in kappa casein(CSn3)synthesis via the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1(mTORC1) signaling pathway in BMEC. For this, HK1 and HK2 were knocked out in BMEC using the CRISPR/Cas9 system. The gene and protein expression, glucose uptake, and cell proliferation were measured. We found that glucose uptake, cell proliferation, CSn3 gene expression levels, and expression of HK1 and HK2 increased with increasing glucose concentrations. notably, glucose uptake was significantly reduced in HK2 knockout(HK2KO)BMEC treated with 17.5 mM glucose. Moreover, under the same glucose treatment conditions, the proliferative ability and abundance of CSn3 were significantly diminished in both HK1 knockout(HK1KO)and HK2KO BMEC compared with that in wild-type BEMC. We further observed that the phosphorylation levels of ribosome protein subunit 6 kinase 1(S6K1) were reduced in HK1KO and HK2KO BMEC following treatment with 17.5 mM glucose. As expected, the levels of glucose-6-phosphate and the m RnA expression levels of glycolysis-related genes were decreased in both HK1KO and HK2KO BMEC following glucose treatment. These results indicated that the knockout of HK1 and HK2 inhibited cell proliferation and CSn3 expression in BMEC under glucose treatment, which may be associated with the inactivation of the S6K1 and inhibition of glycolysis.
