Study on preparation,characterization and application of mixed-colorants thermochromic microcapsules

In order to expand the color-change range and make the discoloration temperature suitable for the daily textiles,a new formulation of mixed-colorants thermochromic core material is designed,in which crystal violet lactone(CVL)is the basic color former,bisphenol A(BPA)is the developer,especially the solvent-based dye and dodecyl dedecanoate are used as the extended dye and the solvent,*** electron microscope(SeM),differential scanning calorimeter(dSC)and thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA)were applied to study the morphology,encapsulation rate,non-isothermal crystallization behavior and thermal stability of the mixed-colorant thermochromic microcapsules(MCTMs)prepared by in-situ *** results show that MCTMs have good sphericity,uniform particle size,good thermal stability and the encapsulation rate can reach 86.73%.Under the non-isothermal conditions,the encapsulation of formaldehyde-melamine resin wall material can slightly reduce the crystallization rate of the solvent,but does not affect the relative crystallinity,thermal properties and discoloration sensitivity of the core *** the variety of ambient temperatures in the range of 20–35℃,the printed cotton fabrics with MCTMs could change color reversibly between different tones with good reliability and durability,and exhibit more gorgeous colors than the common thermochromic materials.

Coordination of distinctive pesticide adjuvants and atomization nozzles on droplet spectrum evolution for spatial drift reduction

Pesticide adjuvants,as crop protection products,have been widely used to reduce drift loss and improve utilization efficiency by regulating droplet ***,the coordinated regulation mechanisms of adjuvants and nozzles on droplet spectrum remain ***,we established the relationship between droplet spectrum evolution and liquid atomization by investigating the typical characteristics of droplet diameter distribution near the *** on this,the regulation mechanisms of distinctive pesticide adjuvants on droplet spectrum were clarified,and the corresponding drift reduction performances were quantitively evaluated by wind tunnel *** shows that the droplet diameter firstly shifts to the smaller due to the liquid sheet breakup and then prefers to increase caused by droplet *** the surface tension of sprayed liquid facilitates the uniform liquid breakup and increasing the viscosity inhibits the liquid deformation,which prolong the atomization process and effectively improve the droplet *** a result,the drift losses of flat-fan and hollow cone nozzles are reduced by about 50%after adding organosilicon and vegetable oil *** contrast,the air induction nozzle shows a superior anti-drift ability,regardless of distinctive *** findings provide insights into rational adjuvant design and nozzle selection in the field application.

CFd-PBM coupled modeling of the liquid-liquid dispersion characteristics and structure optimization for Kenics static mixer

Kenics static mixers(KSM)are extensively used in industrial mixing-reaction processes by virtue of high mixing efficiency,low power homogenization and easy continuous *** liquid droplet size and its distribution and thus revealing the dispersion characteristics are of great significance for structural optimization and process intensification in the *** this work,a computational fluid dynamics-population balance model(CFd-PBM)coupled method is employed to systematically investigate the effects of operating conditions and structural parameters of KSM on droplet size and its distribution,to further reveal the liquid-liquid dispersion *** indicate that higher Reynolds numbers or higher dispersed phase volume fractions increase energy dissipation,reducing Sauter mean diameter(SMd)of dispersed phase droplets and with a shift in droplet size distribution(dSd)towards smaller *** aspect ratios,greater blade twist and assembly angles amplify shear rate,leading to smaller droplet size and a narrower dSd in the smaller *** degree of impact exerted by the aspect ratio is notably ***,mixing elements with different spin enhance shear and stretching *** to the same spin,SMd becomes 3.7-5.8 times smaller in the smaller size range with a significantly narrower *** into account the pressure drop and efficiency in a comprehensive manner,optimized structural parameters for the mixing element encompass an aspect ratio of 1-1.5,a blade twist angle of 180°,an assembly angle of 90°,and interlaced assembly of adjacent elements with different *** work provides vital theoretical underpinning and future reference for enhancing KSM performance.

A data-driven model of drop size prediction based on artificial neural networks using small-scale data sets

An artificial neural network(ANN)method is introduced to predict drop size in two kinds of pulsed columns with small-scale data *** training,the deviation between calculate and experimental results are 3.8%and 9.3%,*** ANN model,the influence of interfacial tension and pulsation intensity on the droplet diameter has been *** size gradually increases with the increase of interfacial tension,and decreases with the increase of pulse *** can be seen that the accuracy of ANN model in predicting droplet size outside the training set range is reach the same level as the accuracy of correlation obtained based on experiments within this *** two kinds of columns,the drop size prediction deviations of ANN model are 9.6%and 18.5%and the deviations in correlations are 11%and 15%.

WNT7A promotes tumorigenesis of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma via activating FZd7/JAK1/STAT3 signaling

Wnt signaling are critical pathway involved in organ development, tumorigenesis, and cancer progression. WNT7A, a member of the Wnt family, remains poorly understood in terms of its role and the underlying molecular mechanisms it entails in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). According to the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), transcriptome sequencing data of HNSCC, the expression level of WNT7A in tumors was found to be higher than in adjacent normal tissues, which was validated using Real-time RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry. Unexpectedly, overexpression of WNT7A did not activate the canonical Wnt-β-catenin pathway in HNSCC. Instead, our findings suggested that WNT7A potentially activated the FZd7/JAK1/STAT3 signaling pathway, leading to enhanced cell proliferation, self-renewal, and resistance to apoptosis. Furthermore, in a patient-derived xenograft (PdX) tumor model, high expression of WNT7A and phosphorylated STAT3 was observed, which positively correlated with tumor *** findings underscore the significance of WNT7A in HNSCC progression and propose the targeting of key molecules within the FZd7/JAK1/STAT3 pathway as a promising strategy for precise treatment of HNSCC.

Therapeutic strategies of targeting nonapoptotic regulated cell death (RCd) with smallmolecule compounds in cancer

Regulated cell death(RCd)is a controlled form of cell death orchestrated by one or more cascading signaling pathways,making it amenable to pharmacological *** subroutines can be categorized as apoptotic or non-apoptotic and play essential roles in maintaining homeostasis,facilitating development,and modulating *** evidence has recently revealed that RCd evasion is frequently the primary cause of tumor *** non-apoptotic RCd subroutines have garnered attention as promising cancer therapies due to their ability to induce tumor regression and prevent relapse,comparable to ***,they offer potential solutions for overcoming the acquired resistance of tumors toward apoptotic *** an increasing understanding of the underlying mechanisms governing these non-apoptotic RCd subroutines,a growing number of small-molecule compounds targeting single or multiple pathways have been discovered,providing novel strategies for current cancer *** this review,we comprehensively summarized the current regulatory mechanisms of the emerging non-apoptotic RCd subroutines,mainly including autophagy-dependent cell death,ferroptosis,cuproptosis,disulfidptosis,necroptosis,pyroptosis,alkaliptosis,oxeiptosis,parthanatos,mitochondrial permeability transition(MPT)-driven necrosis,entotic cell death,NeTotic cell death,lysosome-dependent cell death,and immunogenic cell death(ICd).Furthermore,we focused on discussing the pharmacological regulatory mechanisms of related small-molecule *** brief,these insightful findings may provide valuable guidance for investigating individual or collaborative targeting approaches towards different RCd subroutines,ultimately driving the discovery of novel small-molecule compounds that target RCd and significantly enhance future cancer therapeutics.

Failure evaluation and control factor analysis of slope block instability along traffic corridor in Southeastern Tibet

The instability of slope blocks occurred frequently along traffic corridor in Southeastern Tibet(TCST),which was primarily controlled by the rock mass structures.A rapid method evaluating the control effects of rock mass structures was proposed through field statistics of the slopes and rock mass structures along TCST,which combined the stereographic projection method,modified M-JCS model,and limit equilibrium *** instabilities of slope blocks along TCST were then evaluated rapidly,and the different control factors of instability were *** showed that the probabilities of toppling(5.31%),planar(16.15%),and wedge(35.37%)failure of slope blocks along TCST increased *** instability modes were respectively controlled by the anti-dip joint,the joint parallel to slope surface with a dip angle smaller than the slope angle(singlejoint),and two groups of joints inclined out of the slope(double-joints).Regarding the control effects on slope block instability,the stabilization ability of doublejoints(72.7%),anti-dip joint(67.4%),and single-joint(57.6%)decreased sequentially,resulting in different probabilities of slope block ***,nearby regional faults significantly influenced the joints,leading to spatial heterogeneity and segmental clustering in the stabilization ability provided by joints to the slope ***,the stability of slope blocks gradually weakened as they approached the fault *** paper can provide guidance and assistance for investigating the development characteristics of rock mass structures and the stability of slope blocks.

The inhomogeneous incompressible Hall-MHd system with only bounded density

This paper is dedicated to the global-in-time existence and uniqueness issues of solutions for the inhomogeneous incompressible Hall-magnetohydrodynamics(MHd) system with merely bounded density. In a three-dimensional case, assuming that the initial density is a small perturbation of a positive constant in the L∞norm, we prove global well-posedness for small initial velocity and magnetic fields in critical Besov spaces. Next, we consider the so-called 21/2d flows for the inhomogeneous Hall-MHd system(that is 3d flows independent of the vertical variable) and establish the global existence of strong solutions by only assuming that the initial magnetic field is small in critical spaces and the initial density is bounded and bounded away from zero. In particular, those solutions allow piecewise constant density with jumps so that a mixture of fluids can be considered. Compared with inhomogeneous incompressible Navier-Stokes equations, the new difficulties of proving these results come from the additional so-called Hall term, which endows the magnetic equation with a quasi-linear character. In order to overcome them, we reformulate the system by taking advantage of the curl form of the magnetic equation and develop some new maximal regularity estimates for the Stokes system with just bounded coefficients.
