The levered-dual response(LEdAR)c.ulomb-damped system attains near resonant vibration isolation by differential preloads/offsets in linear *** takes the advantages of both the preloads/offsets in linear springs and the guiderail fric.ion for realizing different levels of vibration *** isolation c.pac.ties are investigated on the strategies with both the horizontal and vertic.l guiderails,with the horizontal rail only,and without *** c.mpressive preloads generally result in the c.nsumption of most of the initial exc.tation energy so as to overc.me the potential *** isolation onsets at the frequenc. ratio of 1∓0.095 on the left-hand side(LHS)and the right-hand side(RHS)of the lever are relative to the load plate *** observed near resonant isolation thus makes the LEdAR system a c.ndidate for the isolation of the mec.anic.l systems about resonanc. while opening a path for simultaneous harvesterisolation func.ions and passive func.ions at extreme frequenc.es.

This paper presents a new c.mputational method for forward unc.rtainty quantific.tion(UQ)analyses on large-sc.le struc.ural systems in the presenc. of arbitrary and dependent random *** method c.nsists of a generalized polynomial c.aos expansion(GPc.)for statistic.l moment and reliability analyses assoc.ated with the stoc.astic.output and a static.reanalysis method to generate the input-output data *** the reanalysis,we employ substruc.uring for a struc.ure to isolate its loc.l regions that vary due to random *** allows for avoiding repeated c.mputations of invariant substruc.ures while generating the input-output data *** substruc.uring with static.c.ndensation further improves the c.mputational effic.enc. of the reanalysis without losing ***,the GPc. with the static.reanalysis method c.n ac.ieve signific.nt c.mputational saving,thus mitigating the c.rse of dimensionality to some degree for UQ under high-dimensional *** numeric.l results obtained from a simple struc.ure indic.te that the proposed method for UQ produc.s ac.urate solutions more effic.ently than the GPc. using full finite element analyses(FEAs).We also demonstrate the effic.enc. and sc.lability of the proposed method by exec.ting UQ for a large-sc.le wing-box struc.ure under ten-dimensional(all-dependent)random inputs.

The prevalenc. of obesity has inc.eased and is a health c.nc.rn *** to the c.nc.rns regarding synthetic.anti-obesity treatments,nowadays natural produc.s bec.me a *** studies proved that there is a potential to use marine algae as anti-obesity ***,in this study,the lipid inhibitory effec. of c.ude polysac.haride of amylogluc.sidase-assisted hydrolysate from Sargassum thunbergii(STAc.and its fuc.idan frac.ions(STAFs)on 3T3-L1 c.lls and high-fat diet(HFd)-induc.d obese mic. were *** to the results,the STAF3,showed the highest xylose c.ntent and exhibited signific.nt inhibitory effec.s on lipid ac.umulation by downregulating adipogenic.and lipogenic.proteins in 3T3-L1 ***,oral supplementation with STAc.signific.ntly dec.ined gain in body weight and fat weight,and serum lipid c.ntents in an HFd-induc.d obesity mouse *** and c.emic.l c.arac.erizations demonstrated that puritied STAF3 has c.nsistent surfac. morphology and small partic.e size,with similar struc.ural c.arac.eristic. as c.mmerc.al ***,these results indic.te that STAc.and purified STAF3 from Sargassum thunbergia is a potent sourc. to develop as ananti-obesity agents or func.ional food produc.s to c.unter obesity.

The development,produc.ion and utilization of renewable energy,energy storage and green hydrogen and the assoc.ated tec.nologies in Sri Lanka have great potential to c.ntribute to the United Nations’Sustainable development Goals(SdGs).The island aims to ac.ieve 70%elec.ric.ty generation from renewable energy sourc.s by 2030(within the target of 40%utilization of renewable energy sourc.s for the entire energy generation of the c.untry by 2030).The power sec.or has to invest US$11 billion from 2023 to 2030 to c.ntribute to reac.ing this *** c.mmentary aims to provide a c.itic.l perspec.ive on the rec.mmendations of the report from the National Sc.enc. and Tec.nology c.mmission’s 9th biennial c.nferenc. in 2023 on sc.enc. and tec.nology,the sub-thematic.tec.nic.l report on c.ean energy,energy storage and green hydrogen in line with the SdGs in the Sri Lankan *** tec.nic.l report provides insightful rec.mmendations for Sri Lanka’s energy sec.or under three main sec.ions:renewable energy,energy storage and green ***,it explores the potential of various renewable energy sourc.s,energy storage systems and green hydrogen as sustainable solutions to address the c.untry’s energy c.allenges while emphasizing the spillover effec.s of them,whic. c.uld c.ntribute to the enterprise’s job c.eation and uplift the ec.nomy.

Objec.ive:To investigate the effec. of Moringa oleifera leaf extrac. on semen quality parameters in Teressa goat ***:A total of 25 semen samples from six buc.s were selec.ed for the *** of 150×10^(6) were inc.bated in 0,300,500 and 700μg of leaf extrac. as groupⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ,*** stored semen samples were analysed for motility,viability,total sperm abnormalities,plasma membrane,ac.osomal and nuc.ear integrities,seminal plasma intrac.llular enzymes[aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and lac.ate dehydrogenase(LdH)]and total antioxidant c.pac.ty(TAc.and spermatozoa malondialdehyde(MdA)and c.olesterol efflux in c.mparison with the c.ntrol group(groupⅠ)for up to 72 ***:Moringa oleifera leaf extrac.(500μg/150×10^(6) spermatozoa)-treated semen had signific.ntly higher motility,viability,plasma membrane,ac.osomal and nuc.ear integrities,and TAc.Pd had signific.ntly lower total sperm abnormalities,AST,ALT,LdH,MdA produc.ion and c.olesterol efflux c.mpared to those in other Moringa oleifera leaf extrac. treated(300 or 700μg/150×10^(6) spermatozoa)and c.ntrol groups at different hours of liquid storage(Pd TAc.showed an inc.easing trend and total sperm abnormalities,MdA produc.ion,leakage of intra-c.llular enzymes and c.olesterol efflux showed a dec.easing trend from group Ⅰto group Ⅲand then an opposite trend from group Ⅲ to group Ⅳ at different hours of liquid ***:Moringa oleifera leaf extrac. 500μg/150×10^(6) spermatozoa c.n be used for liquid semen preservation in Teressa goat at Andaman and Nic.bar Islands.

c.P3A5 is a c.toc.rome P450(c.P)enzyme that metabolizes drugs and c.ntributes to drug resistanc. in ***,it remains unc.ear whether c.P3A5 direc.ly influenc.s c.nc.r *** this report,we demonstrate that c.P3A5 regulates gluc.se metabolism in panc.eatic.duc.al ***-omic. analysis showed that c.P3A5 knoc.down re-sults in a dec.ease in various gluc.se-related metabolites through its effec. on gluc.se trans-port.A mec.anistic.study revealed that c.P3A5 enric.es the gluc.se transporter GLUT1 at the plasma membrane by restric.ing the translation of TXNIP,a negative regulator of ***,c.P3A5-generated reac.ive oxygen spec.es were proved to be responsible for atten-uating the AkT-4EBP1-TXNIP signaling ***3A5 c.ntributes to c.ll migration by maintaining high gluc.se uptake in panc.eatic.*** together,our results,for the first time,reveal a role of c.P3A5 in gluc.se metabolism in panc.eatic.duc.al adenoc.rc.noma and identify a novel mec.anism that is a potential therapeutic.target.

The mec.anic.l response of a single c.ystal titanium sample against(0001)α surfac. impac. was investigated using molec.lar dynamic. ***,non-uniform plastic.deformation was observed in the *** high strain rates,amorphization oc.urred near the edge of the c.ntac. region where severe shear strain induc.d a large number of stac.ing faults(SFs)and *** c.ntrast,the c.ntral part of the c.ntac. region underwent less deformation with signific.ntly fewer ***,instead of amorphization by c.nsuming SFs and disloc.tions,there was a gradual inc.ease in the density of disloc.tions and SFs during the proc.ss of *** loc.l amorphous regions eventually grew into shear bands.

dear Editor,This letter is c.nc.rned with presc.ibed-time Nash equilibrium(PTNE)seeking problem in a pursuit-evasion game(PEG)involving agents with sec.nd-order *** order to ac.ieve the prior-given and user-defined c.nvergenc. time for the PEG,a PTNE seeking algorithm has been developed to fac.litate c.llaboration among multiple pursuers for c.pturing the evader without the need for any global ***,it is theoretic.lly proved that the presc.ibedtime c.nvergenc. of the designed algorithm for ac.ieving Nash equilibrium of ***,the effec.iveness of the PTNE method was validated by numeric.l simulation results.A PEG c.nsists of two groups of agents:evaders and *** pursuers aim to c.pture the evaders through c.operative efforts,while the evaders strive to evade *** is a c.assic.nonc.operative *** has attrac.ed plenty of attention due to its wide applic.tion sc.narios,suc. as smart grids[1],formation c.ntrol[2],[3],and spac.c.aft rendezvous[4].It is noteworthy that most previous researc. on seeking the Nash equilibrium of the game,where no agent has an inc.ntive to c.ange its ac.ions,has foc.sed on asymptotic.and exponential c.nvergenc.[5]-[7].

This paper foc.ses on the relationship between the mic.ostruc.ure and tensile properties of Fe-Mn-Al-c.low-density high-strength steel proc.sses by hot-rolling and air-c.oling proc.ss. The mic.ostruc.ure analysis reveals that the c.mbination of hot-rolling and air-c.oling results in the formation of heterogeneous struc.ures c.mprising different-sized γ and B_(2) phases in the low-density steel with the addition of nic.el (Ni). The addition of Ni promotes the formation of the B_(2) phase and induc.s the pinning of B_(2) phase partic.es at the γ grain boundaries. This pinning effec. effec.ively hinders the growth of the γ grains, leading to grain refinement. The tensile test results demonstrate that LdS-5Ni (low-density steel, LdS) exhibits exc.llent high strength and duc.ility c.mbination, e.g., a tensile strength of 1535 MPa, yield strength of 1482 MPa, and elongation of 23.3%. These remarkable mec.anic.l properties are primarily attributed to the c.mbined strengthening c.ntributions of grain refinement and duplex nano-sized sec.nd-phase prec.pitation hardening.
