This research work is the novel state-of-the-art technology performed on multi-cylinder SI engine fueled compressed natural gas,emulsified fuel,and hydrogen as dual *** work predicts the overall features of performance,combustion,and exhaust emissions of individual fuels based on AVL Boost simulation *** types of alternative fuels have been compared and *** results show that hydrogen produces 20%more brake power than CNG and 25%more power than micro-emulsion fuel at 1500 r/min,which further increases the brake power of hydrogen,CNG,and micro-emulsions in the range of 25%,20%,and 15%at higher engine speeds of 2500-4000 r/min,*** addition,the brake-specific fuel consumption is the lowest for 100%hydrogen,followed by CNG 100%and then micro-emulsions at 1500 r/*** 2500-5000 r/min,there is a significant drop in brake-specific fuel consumption due to a lean mixture at higher engine *** CO,HC,and NOx emissions significantly improve for hydrogen,CNG,and micro-emulsion *** fuel shows zero CO and HC emissions and is the main objective of this research to produce 0%carbon-based emissions with a slight increase in NOx emissions,and CNG shows 30%lower CO emissions than micro-emulsions and 21.5%less hydrocarbon emissions than micro-emulsion fuel at stoichiometric air/fuel ratio.

The arc plasma melting technique is a simple method to synthesize high temperature reaction composites. In this study, mullite-zirconia composite was synthesized by transferred and non-transferred arc plasma melting, and the results were compared. A mixture of alumina and zircon powders with a mole ratio of 3 ： 2 were ball milled for four hours and melted for two minutes in the transferred and non-transferred mode of plasma arcs. Argon and air were used as plasma forming gases. The phase and microstruetural formation of melted samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction （XRd） and scanning electron microscope （SEM）. The microstructure of the composites was found to be affected by the mode of melting. In transferred arc melting, zirconia flowers with uniform lines along with mullite whiskers were obtained. In the ease of non-transferred are plasma melting, mullite whiskers along with star shape zirconia were formed. differential thermal analysis （dTA） of the synthesized mullite-zirconia composites provided a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of mullite formation during the two different processes.

Rice husk ash （RHA） is one of the industrial waste byproduct available abundantly in the world. In the present work, an attempt is made to incorporate the RHA particles in the molten aluminum A356,2 alloy. The RHA particles were added into the matrix melt by creating a vortex with the help of a mechanical stirrer and the melt temperature was maintained between 800 and 850 ℃. dry sliding wear experiments were performed in a pin on disc wear equipment against a chromium steel disc at 30 ℃. Scanning electron microscopy is used to study the wear characteristics of the unreinforced AI alloy and the A356.2/RHA composites. From the experiments it is observed that the composites exhibit higher hardness and resistance to wear as compared to unreinforced AI alloy,

In the present work, attempts have been made to extend the use of the tribological and chemical properties of rutile-TiO2 to metallic alloy systems, by forming a rutile coating on the metallic substrates. Two metallic alloys were selected in this study, including AISI316L austenitic stainless steel and aluminium alloy. The rutile-based coatings were fabricated by magnetron sputter deposition of a pure titanium coating first, and then thermal oxidation of the coated specimens to partially convert the titanium coating to rutile oxide and to promote interfacial reactions which can significantly enhance the coating-substrate adhesion strength. The structures and properties of the coating-substrate systems were characterized by a variety of analytical and experimental techniques, including X-ray diffraction, glow discharge spectrometry, high resolution SEM, nanoindentation, microscratch, friction and wear testing, as well as electrochemical testing. The results show that the friction and wear properties, as well as the corrosion resistance of the metallic alloys can be significant enhanced by surface engineering with rutile-TiO2.

delay bias between the pseudo range code is called differential Code Bias(dCB),this is one of the main error sources to estimate the precise Total Electron Content(TEC)in *** delay biases between the dual frequency band signals in both satellite and receiver are called satellite differential code biases(SdCBs)and receiver differential code biases(RdCBs).The combined satellite and receiver dCBs lead to measure error *** and RdCBs should be removed from the Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)measurements *** dCB estimations of GNSS signals are important for improving GNSS user positioning accuracy in ionospheric and space weather *** Navigation with Indian Constellation(NavIC)system has been developed by India to cater to positioning,navigation,timing,and ionosphere and troposphere re mote sensing *** proposed dCB estimation algorithm is necessary to calibrate the NavIC TEC measurements for both NavIC satellites and *** this work,a Global Positioning System(GPS)-aided NavIC dCB estimation algorithm has been implemented with the help of single station GPS TEC *** data were recorded at the same location by the NavIC as well as the GPS receiver(Koneru Lakshamaiah Education Foundation,Guntur,India,16.47°N,80.61°E)for the month of September *** SdCB and RdCB estimations for NavIC satellites and receivers located at Guntur,*** maximum SdCB value of 9.2 TECU was observed for NavIC satellite pseudo range number(PRN)*** deviations of NavIC satellites were in the range of 0.53-1.11 *** NavIC RdCB was estimated to be 16 *** dCB results were validated with the Fitted Receiver Bias(FRB)*** implemented dCB estimation algorithm would be useful for improving positional accuracy of NavIC users.

Executing customer analysis in a systemic way is one of the possible solutions for each enterprise to understand the behavior of consumer patterns in an efﬁcient and in-depth *** investigation of customer patterns helps theﬁrm to develop efﬁcient decisions and in turn,helps to optimize the enter-prise’s business and maximizes consumer satisfaction *** con-duct an effective assessment about the customers,Naive Bayes(also called Simple Bayes),a machine learning model is ***,the efﬁcacious of the simple Bayes model is utterly relying on the consumer data used,and the existence of uncertain and redundant attributes in the consumer data enables the simple Bayes model to attain the worst prediction in consumer data because of its presumption regarding the attributes ***,in practice,the NB pre-mise is not true in consumer data,and the analysis of these redundant attributes enables simple Bayes model to get poor prediction *** this work,an ensem-ble attribute selection methodology is performed to overcome the problem with consumer data and to pick a steady uncorrelated attribute set to model with the NB classiﬁ*** ensemble variable selection,two different strategies are applied:one is based upon data perturbation(or homogeneous ensemble,same feature selector is applied to a different subsamples derived from the same learning set)and the other one is based upon function perturbation(or heterogeneous ensemble different feature selector is utilized to the same learning set).Further-more,the feature set captured from both ensemble strategies is applied to NB indi-vidually and the outcome obtained is ***,the experimental outcomes show that the proposed ensemble strategies perform efﬁciently in choosing a steady attribute set and increasing NB classiﬁcation performance efﬁciently.

Background and purpose The therapeutic potential of different stem cells for ischaemic stroke treatment is intriguing and somewhat *** results from our laboratory have demonstrated the potential benefits of human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells(MSC)in a rodent stroke *** hypothesised that MSC treatment would effectively promote the recovery of sensory and motor function in both males and females,despite any apparent sex differences in post stroke brain *** Transient focal cerebral ischaemia was induced in adult Sprague-dawley rats by occlusion of the middle cerebral *** the procedure,male and female rats of the untreated group were euthanised 1 day after reperfusion and their brains were used to estimate the resulting infarct volume and tissue *** groups of stroke-induced male and female rats were treated with MSC or vehicle and were subsequently subjected to a battery of standard neurological/neurobehavioral tests(Modified Neurological Severity Score assessment,adhesive tape removal,beam walk and rotarod).The tests were administered at regular intervals(at days 1,3,5,7 and 14)after reperfusion to determine the time course of neurological and functional recovery after *** The infarct volume and extent of swelling of the ischaemic brain were similar in males and *** similar pathological stroke lesions,the clinical manifestations of stroke were more pronounced in males than females,as indicated by the neurological scores and other *** treatment significantly improved the recovery of sensory and motor function in both sexes,and it demonstrated efficacy in both moderate stroke(females)and severe stroke(males).Conclusions despite sex differences in the severity of post stroke outcomes,MSC treatment promoted the recovery of sensory and motor function in male and female rats,suggesting that it may be a promising treatment for stroke.

This article deals with boundary layer analysis of magnetohydrodynamics on an unsteady chemically reactive micropolar rotating fluid flow past a semi-infinite vertical plate with been developed under Boussinesq *** governing partial differential equations are transformed into a set of coupled partial differential equations using suitable dimensionless *** resultant equations are solved numerically using variational finite element method.A parametric study illustrating the influence of different pertinent parameters is performed and the numerical results for translational velocity,microrotation velocity,temperature and concentration distributions near the boundary layers are discussed and presented graphically for the parametric ***,the skin-friction,wall couple stress,surface heat transfer and mass transfer rate dependency on the emerging thermo-physical parameters are also *** finite element code is benchmarked with the results reported in the literature to check the validity and accuracy under some limiting cases and excellent agreement with published solutions is achieved.

One step synthesis and characterization of copper doped sulfated titania and its enhanced photocatalytic activity in visible light by degradation of methyl orange

This paper reports on the synthesis of copper doped sulfated titania nano-crystalline powders with varying （2.0%-10.0%, by mass） by single step sol gel method. The synthesized photo catalyst has been characterized by employing various techniques like X-ray diffraction （XRd）, Ultraviolet-Visible diffuse Reflection Spectroscopy （UV-Vis dRS）, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy （XPS）, Scanning Electron Microscopy （SEM）, Energy dispersive Spectrometry （EdS）, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopic Studies （FT-IR）, and Transmission Electron Microscopy （TEM）. From the XRd and TEM results, all the samples were reported in anatase phase with reduction in particle size in the range of 7 to 12 nm. SEM indicated the change in morphology of the particles. The presence of copper in titania lattice was evidenced by XPS. From UV-Vis dRS and FT-IR studies indicated that prominent absorption shift is observed towards visible region （red shift）, the entry ofCu2 ＋ into Ti02 lattice as a substitution- al dopant and S042- ions were covalently bonded with Ti4＋ on the surface of the copper doped titania respectively. The photocatalytic activity studies were investigated by considering methyl orange （MO） as dye pollutant in the presence of the visible light. The effect of various parameters like effect of dosage of the catalyst, dopant concentration, pH of the solution, and concentration of the dye was studied in detail.
