Cytotoxic,antibacterial and analgesic activities of Rhaphidophora glauca(Wall.)Schott leaves

Objective:To investigation of cytotoxic,antimicrobial and analgesic activities of different fractions of Rhaphidophora glauca(Wall.)***:Two partially purified aqueous methanolic fractions from ethyl acetate extract(AMF-1)and chloroform extract(AMF-2)obtained from the partitioning were used in *** cytotoxic effect was determined by brine shrimp lethality *** activity was investigated by disc diffusion and minimal inhibitory concentration *** plate method and acetic acid test was used for determining analgesic ***:The LC_(50)values of AMF-1 and AMF-2 were found to be 287.73 and 428.54μg/mL respectively,where colchicines showed LC_(50)of 11.16μg/*** zone of inhibition of the fractions AMF-1 and AMF-2 was found to be in the range of 8-26 mm in 2000μg/disc,as compared to reference antibiotics kanamycin(11-28 mm at 30μg/disc)and ciprofloxacin(20-25 mm at 30μg/disc)indicating the antibacterial *** hot plate test,the highest pain inhibitory activity was found at a dose of 250 mg/kg for AMF-1 which was statistically significant(Pd to both positive and negative control at 30 min *** acid induced model,both AMF-1 and AMF-2 at a dose of 500 mg/kg showed significant activity compared to positive and negative ***:This study found that Rhaphidophora glauca possesses potential cytotoxic,antibacterial and analgesic *** study may be needed to isolate the bioactive compounds responsible for different activities with subsequent mechanistic study.

This process describes a novel technique for effective trapping of “Pd” metal through resins during the process development of L-valine, 2-[(2-amino-1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-9H-purin-9-yl) methoxy] ethyl ester, and mono hydrochloride known as a Valacyclovir hydrochloride (1). This technique is suitable for large-scale production of 1 and it is described here Pd metal trapping by using different resins.

Rechargeable aqueous zinc ion hybrid capacitors(ZIHCs),as an up-and-comer aqueous electrochemical energy storage system,endure in their infancy because of the substandard reversibility of Zn anodes,structural deterioration of cathode materials,and narrow electrochemical stability ***,a scalable approach is described that addresses Zn-anode/electrolyte interface and cathode materials associated deficiencies and boosts the electrochemical properties of *** Zn-anode/electrolyte interface is self-regulated by alteration of the traditional Zn2+electrolyte with Na-based supporting salt without surrendering the cost,safety,and green features of the Zn-based system which further validates the excellent reversibility over 1100 h with suppressed hydrogen *** deficits of cathode materials were overcome by using a high-mass loaded,oxygen-rich,3d,multiscaled graphene-like carbon(3d MGC)*** to the multiscaled texture,high electronic conductivity,and oxygen-rich functional groups of 3d MGC,reversible redox capacitance was obtained with a traditional adsorption/desorption *** ZIHCs containing the modified electrolyte and an oxygen-rich 3d MGC cathode resulted in battery-like specific energy(203 Wh kg1 at 1.6 A g^(-1))and supercapacitor-type power capability(4.9 kW kg1 at 8 A g^(-1))with outstanding cycling durability(96.75%retention over 30000 cycles at 10 A g^(-1)).These findings pave the way toward the utilization of highly efficient ZIHCs for practical applications.

dNA copy number variations(CNVs) play an important role in the pathogenesis and progression of cancer and confer susceptibility to a variety of human *** this study, we developed an algorithm to detect CNVs from whole-genome sequencing data and applied it to a newly sequenced glioblastoma genome with a matched *** read-depth algorithm,called BIC-seq,can accurately and efficiently identify CNVs via minimizing the Bayesian information criterion(BIC).Using BIC-seq,we identified hundreds of CNVs as small as 40 bp in the cancer genome sequenced at 10X coverage,while we could only detect large CNVs(>15 Kb) in the array CGH profiles for the same *** percent(14/16) of the small variants tested(110 bp to 14 Kb) were experimentally validated by quantitative PCR,demonstrating high sensitivity and true positive rate of the *** also extended the algorithm to detect recurrent CNVs in multiple samples as well as deriving error bars for breakpoints using a Gibbs sampling approach.

Laboratory experiments on longitudinal dispersion in clear-water and sedimentladen flows are reported. These experiments indicate that the presence of suspended sediment does not have a significant effect on the dispersion process other than its possible effect on the friction factor. Analysis of the writers' and other's data collected in laboratory flumes and natural streams Shows that Taylor's model of longitudinal dispersion based on one-dimensional Fickian diffusion equation with a constant dispersion coefficient, dL, is not suitable for describing the dispersion process in natural streams as dL tends to increase in the downstream direction. Therefore, a similarity analysis of the concentration distributions, on the lines of day and Wood, has been carried out. In contemporary medicine,cardiovascular disease is a major public health *** diseases are one of the leading causes of death *** are classiﬁed as vascular,ischemic,or *** information contained in patients’Electronic Health Records(EHR)enables clin-icians to identify and monitor heart *** failure rates have risen drama-tically in recent years as a result of changes in modern *** diseases are becoming more prevalent in today’s medical *** year,a substantial number of people die as a result of cardiac *** primary cause of these deaths is the improper use of pharmaceuticals without the supervision of a physician and the late detection of *** improve the efﬁciency of the classiﬁcation algo-rithms,we construct a data pre-processing stage using feature ***-ments using unidirectional and bidirectional neural network models found that a deep Learning Modiﬁed Neural Network(dLMNN)model combined with the Pet dog-Smell Sensing(Pd-SS)algorithm predicted the highest classiﬁcation performance on the UCI Machine Learning Heart disease *** dLMNN-based PdSS achieved an accuracy of 94.21%,an F-score of 92.38%,a recall of 94.62%,and a precision of 93.86%.These results are competitive and promising for a heart disease *** demonstrated that a dLMNN framework based on deep models may be used to solve the categorization problem for an unbalanced heart disease *** proposed approach can result in exceptionally accurate models that can be utilized to analyze and diagnose clinical real-world data.

Parkinson’s disease (Pd) is a debilitating neurological disorder that affects the aged population globally. This study aimed to explore how oral- and intraperitoneal-rotenone-induced Pd alters brain urea levels, histopathology, and key Parkinsonism-related genes in the striatum. Hematoxylin and eosin staining was performed for histopathology assessment and real-time polymerase chain reaction was performed for gene expression. Rotenone 3 mg/kg body weight (Rot-3-ip) for 21 days and rotenone 50 mg/kg body weight (Rot-50-po) for 28 days significantly (p Snca, Becn1 and Prkaa1 gene expression in the striatum. Lewy bodies were visible in both Rot-3-ip and Rot-50-po rat brains. There were contrasting features in brain and liver histopathology between the oral and intraperitoneal rotenone treatment groups. However, there was no significant (p can have different impacts on the pathological sequence of events based on the molecular approach.
