Regulator of G-protein Signaling 10 （Rgsl0） plays an important function in osteoclast differentiation. However, the role of Rgsl0 in immune cells and inflammatory responses, which activate osteoclasts in inflam- matory lesions, such as bacteria-induced periodontal disease lesions, remains largely unknown. In this study, we used an adeno-associated virus （AAV-） mediated RNAi （AAV-shRNA-Rgs10） knockdown approach to study Rgsl0＇s function in immune cells and osteoclasts in bacteria-induced inflammatory lesions in a mouse model of periodontal disease. We found that AAV-shRNA-Rgs10 mediated Rgs10 knockdown impaired osteoclastogenesis and osteoclast-mediated bone resorption, in vitro and in vivo. Interestingly, local injection of AAV-shRNA-Rgs10 into the periodontal tissues in the bacteria-induced inflammatory lesion greatly decreased the number of dendritic cells, T-cells and osteoclasts, and protected the periodontal tissues from local inflammatory damage and bone destruction. Importantly, AAV-mediated Rgs10 knockdown also reduced local expression of osteoclast markers and pro-inflammatory cytokines. Our results demonstrate that AAV- shRNA-Rgs10 knockdown in periodontal disease tissues can prevent bone resorption and inflammation simultaneously. Our data indicate that Rgsl0 may regulate dendritic cell proliferation and maturation, as well as the subsequent stimulation of T-cell proliferation and maturation, and osteoclast differentiation and acti- vation. Our study suggests that AAV-shRNA-Rgs10 can be useful as a therapeutic treatment of periodontal disease.

To identify the provenance of aeolian deposits in the extensive dune field in the Taklamakan desert is of great importance for understanding the formation of this,the largest sand sea in *** opinions from earlier studies are quite dipolar and are as follows: (a) local origin of the dune sands in different parts of the desert on the basis of various heavy mineral assemblages;and(b) strong homogenization of the sands in the entire Taklamakan on the basis of geochemical data from whole-rock *** separately examining the REE characteristics and major-elemental composition in coarse and fine fractions of the samples from aeolian deposits, this paper provides new data for interpreting sources of aeolian deposits in the *** sampling sites are distributed in four different fluvial systems,*** areas of the keriya River,Niya River and Cele River in the southern part and the northern margin near the Tarim River(Fig.1).Our results show that there are some significant differences in concentrations of trace elements and in REE features between the coarse and the fine fractions of the aeolian *** major-elemental and REE data suggest that the coarser sand is different from area to area in the desert rather than a homogenization of the entire *** fine fractions(mainly silts) are more *** regional difference of coarse fractions in the study areas is consistent with the fluvial and wind systems in the basin. This confirms that the sands are often mixed between the northern and southern parts but there is much less mixing along the east-west *** should be emphasized that not only glacial and aeolian processes but also fluvial and lacustrine processes have jointly contributed to the formation of the huge sand *** addition,little variation is found between old and young sands in two sediment sequences in the central part of the desert,indicating consistency of sand sources in a given site during the last 40 ka.

Sediments contained in basins adjacent to great mountains provide opportunities to reconstruct the aridification history of central *** we use a palynological record from the fluviolucustrine Jingou River section collected from the northern Tian Shan,NW China,to reconstruct aridification in central Asia during the late *** results show that the section was continuously deposited through the interval 28-4.2 *** palynological record,with the auxiliary of the principal component analysis and the diversity index,indicates that a late Oligocene wet condition existed in central Asia and shifted to dry conditions at 23.8-23.3 *** dry condition remained until 17.3 Ma and subsequently ameliorated to a relatively wet stage to 16.2 Ma,but then began to increase once again and reached a peak at 13.5 Ma that last throughout the late Miocene and the early Pliocene,Comparing the aridification process to the global temperature trend and history of tectonics,we suggest that the long-term drying trend in central Asia is dominated by late Cenozoic cooling,while the dry events that occurred at 23.8-23,3 Ma and 16.2-13.5 Ma are more likely associated with regional mountain *** land-sea redistribution further complicated the drying processes.

We consider a continuous review perishable （s,S） inventory system with a service facility consisting of a waiting hall of finite capacity and a single server. We assume two types of customers, ordinary and negative, arrive according to a Markovian Arrival Process （MAP）. An ordinary customer joins the queue and a negative customer instead of joining the queue removes one ordinary customer from the queue. The removal rule adopted in this paper is RCE （removal of a customer from the end）. The individual customer＇s unit demand is satisfied after a random time of service which is assumed to have a phase-type distribution. The life time of each item and the lead time of the reorders have been assumed to be independent exponential distributions. The joint probability distribution of the number of customers in the system and the inventory level is obtained for the steady state case. Various stationary system performance measures are computed and the total expected cost rate is calculated. The results are illustrated numerically.
