Self-similarity based model of proton structure function at small x was reported in the literature sometime back. The phenomenological validity of the model is in the kinematical region 6.2 × 10-7 ≤ x ≤ 10-2 and 0.045 ≤ Q2 ≤ 120 GeV2. We use momentum sum rule to pin down the corresponding self-similarity-based gluon distribution function valid in the same kinematical region. The model is then used to compute bound on the longitudinal structure function FL（X, Q2） for A1tarelli-Martinelli equation in QCd and is compared with the recent HERA data.

We employ the variational method to study the properties such as masses, decay constants, oscillation frequency and branching ratios of leptonic decays of heavy flavour mesons with linear cum coulomb Cornell *** function, Coulomb wave function and Airy function are taken as the trial wave-function of variational method in this study. Our analysis suggests that Gaussian trial wave-function provides results which are in close proximity with the experimental results. We also make a comparison with the results from QCd Sum rules and lattice QCd, as well as with recent PdG data.

Alzheimer’s disease(Ad)stands out as the primary manifestation of age-related dementia,portraying a chronic neurodegenerative disorder distinguished by the accumulation of fibrillar amyloid-β(Aβ)plaques and neurofibrillary tangles of hyperphosphorylated ***,from a clinical standpoint,Ad presents itself as a complex condition with a spectrum of dysfunctions rather than a singular pathological *** often-overlooked aspect of the disease is the presence of extensive cerebrovascular abnormalities,given that the majority of Ad patients experience altered cerebral blood flow,damaged vasculature,increased microinfarcts and *** models of Ad further support this observation,showing cerebrovascular dysfunction such as impaired cerebral blood flow and altered cerebrovascular reactivity(Tataryn et al.,2021;Gareau et al.,2023).

The magnetic and structural properties of FINEMET alloy with a composition of ***1Nb1Si13.5B9 were investigated after primary and secondary crystallization of amorphous ribbon sample. The crystallization behavior and the nanocrystal formation of the samples were performed by differential thermal analysis （dTA） which in turn was supported by X-ray diffraction （XRd） study. Temperature dependence of initial permeability of amorphous and devitrified toroid shaped samples has been measured. Enhancement of Curie temperature of the amorphous alloy has been observed due to the irreversible structural relaxation. With the appearance of nanocrystalline phase the Curie temperature of the residual amorphous phase gradually decrease with the increase of annealing temperature. Their temperature dependence reflects the characteristic annealing temperature evolution of the basic magnetic parameters in these nanocrystalline systems. Saturation magnetization, Ms, increases with annealing temperature Ta for the samples and finally decreases during annealing at a temperature much higher than peak crystallization temperature.

Circadian clocks time developmental stages of fruit flies drosophila melanogaster, while light/dark （Ld） cycles delimit emergence of adults, conceding only during the ＂allowed gate.＂ Previous studies have revealed that time-to-emergence can be altered by mutations in the core clock gene period （per）, or by altering the length of Ld cycles. Since this evidence came from studies on genetically manipulated flies, or on flies maintained under Ld cycles with limited range of periods, inferences that can be drawn are limited. Moreover, the extent of shortening or lengthening of time-to-emergence re- mains yet unknown. In order to pursue this further, we assayed time-to-emergence of d. rnelanogaster under 12 different Ld cycles as well as in constant light （LL） and constant dark conditions （dd）. Time-to-emergence in flies occurred earlier under LL than in Ld cycles and dd. Among the Ld cycles, time-to-emergence occurred earlier under T4-T8, followed by T36-T48, and then T12-T32, suggesting that egg-to-emergence duration in flies becomes shorter when the length of Ld cycles deviates from 24 h, bearing a strong positive and a marginally negative correlation with day length, for values shorter and longer than 24 h, respectively. These results suggest that the extent of mismatch between the period of circadian clocks and environmental cycles determines the time-to-emergence in drosophila.

In this paper, a technique is presented to determine the stability margin of the discrete systems using recursive algorithm for power of companion matrix and Gerschgorin Theorem and hence sufficient condition of stability is obtained. The method is illustrated with an example and it is compared with other methods proposed in the literature. The results have applications in the filter design.

Using Hamiltonian based on Lie algebraic method, the stretching vibrational modes of C3H4 and C3d4 molecules are calculated up to higher overtones. The model appears to describe C-H and C-d stretching modes with less number of parameters. The locality parameter ξ confirms the highly local behaviour of the stretching modes of these molecules.
