A superionic mixed metal iodide glass system [(PbI2 –CuI ) - Ag2O- V2O5- B2O3] has been prepared by splat quenching technique. The prepared glass samples are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRd) and differential scanning calo- rimetry (dSC). The effect of mixed metal iodide salts concentration on electrical properties has been investigated by the complex impedance spectroscopy (CIS). AC conductivity analysis is carried out in the frequency range of 2MHz-1Hz at different temperatures and an enhancement in the conductivity with iodide salts is the main feature of the observed re- sults with an anomaly at 20 mole % of PbI2 –CuI.

The present and future energy requirements of mankind can be fulfilled with sustained research and development efforts by global *** purpose of this review paper is to provide an overview of the fundamentals,recent advancements on Lithium and non-Lithium electrochemical rechargeable battery systems,and their future *** initial part of this review paper is dedicated to the advancement and challenges faced by the conventional rechargeable batteries,such as lead-acid,Ni-Cd and Ni-MH *** subsequent section of this review focuses on an in-depth analysis of two major categories of rechargeable batteries,namely lithium-based rechargeable battery systems and alternative non-Lithium rechargeable battery *** working principle,construction,and a few important research progress on Li-ion,Li-O_(2),Li-CO_(2) and Li-S batteries have been *** recent progress and challenges of the alternate batteries such as Na-ion,Na-S,Mg-ion,k-ion,Al-ion,Al-air,Zn-ion and Zn-air are also discussed in this *** large gap between theoretical and practical electrochemical values for the alternate battery system must be filled by adopting a series of design architectures followed by modern instrumentation for developing next-generation batteries in a sustainable and efficient way.

Poly(vinylidene fluoride-hexafluropropylene)(PVdF-HFP)and poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)-based gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs)comprising propylene carbonate and diethyl carbonate mixed plasticizer with variation of lithium perchlorate(LiClO_(4))salt concentrations have been prepared using a solvent casting *** characterization has been carried out using XRd wherein diffraction pattern reveals the amorphous nature of sample up to 7.5 wt.%salt and complexation of polymers and salt have been studied by FTIR *** morphology of the samples has been studied using scanning electron *** impedance spectroscopy in the temperature range 303-363k has been carried out for electrical *** maximum room temperature conductivity of 2.83×10^(-4) S cm^(-1) has been observed for the GPE incorporating 7.5 wt.%LiClO_(4).The temperature dependence of ionic conductivity obeys the Arrhenius *** increase in ionic conductivity with change in temperatures and salt content is *** number measurement is carried out by Wagner’s dC polarization *** tangent(tanδ)and imaginary part of modulus(M″)corresponding to dielectric relaxation and conductivity relaxation respectively show faster relaxation process with increasing salt content up to optimum value of 7.5 wt.%LiClO_(4).The modulus(M″)shows that the conductivity relaxation is of non-debye type(broader than debye peak).

Objective:To evaluate the effect of enzymatic activity in the nervous tissue of snail Lymnaea acuminata(***)by Bauhinia variegata(***)and Mimusops elengi(***)and their active molluscicidal components quercetin and ***:Treatment of sublethal concentration(40%and 80%of 96-h LC_(50))in vivo of column-purified fraction of *** leaf and *** bark and their molluscicidal agents quercetin and saponin inhibit the acetylcholinesterase(AChE),acid and alkaline phosphatase(ACP and ALP)activities in the nervous tissue of ***:AChE activity was more inhibited than ACP and ALP in snail exposed to column-purified fraction of *** bark and *** all the treatments the highest inhibition in AChE activity(27.77%)was noted in snail *** exposed to 80%of 96-h LC_(50)of saponin at 96-h exposure ***:It can be concluded from the present study that inhibition of AChE,ACP and ALP by *** leaf(quercetin)and *** bark(saponin)in snail *** could be the cause of snail mortality.

The labile organic carbon(C)and C-related enzymes are sensitive indicators capturing alterations of soil organic matter(SOM),even in a short-time *** the effects of crop husbandry and land use change on these attributes have been well studied,there is no consensus about how plant phenology may impact *** study aimed to determine the short-term effect o f six distinct phenological stages(PS-1:full bloom;PS-2:fruit set;PS-3:pit hardening;PS-4:physiological maturity;PS-5:60 d after physiological maturity;and PS-6:fall)o f peach on the changes in soil organic carbon(SOC)fractions of different oxidizability,labile C pools,and C-cycle enzyme activities in soils,for two consecutive years(2015 and 2016)in the North-Western Himalayas(NWH).Peach rhizosphere soils were sampled at the topsoil(0-15 cm)and subsoil(16-30 cm)layers,along with rhizosphere soils from adjacent perennial grasses,which served as a *** for most of the assessed parameters,including very labile C,labile C,microbial biomass C,permanganate oxidizable C,dissolved organic C,mineralizable C,amylase activity,and carboxymethyl-cellulase activity,were significantly(Pdden decline in these soil variables was recorded at PS-5,followed by a slight buildup at PS-6,particularly in the topsoil of the peach ***-term changes in organic C fractions of different oxidizability,influenced by peach phenological stage,significantly(Pd C management index,C pool index,and lability *** the C management index and lability index showed their highest values at PS-3 and their lowest values at PS-5,clearly indicating short-term accretion and depletion of SOC,in tandem with the peach phenological *** component analysis suggested that a composite of soil indicators,including microbial biomass C,dissolved organic C,amylase,and invertase,could help detect short-term changes in SOC *** i
