collisionless shocks are ubiquitous in the Universe and are held responsible for the production of nonthermal particles and high-energy *** the absence of particle collisions in the system,theory shows that the interaction of an expanding plasma with a pre-existing electromagnetic structure(as in our case)is able to induce energy dissipation and allow shock *** formation can alternatively take place when two plasmas interact,through microscopic instabilities inducing electromagnetic fields that are able in turn to mediate energy dissipation and shock *** our platform in which we couple a rapidly expanding plasma induced by high-power lasers(JLF/Titan at LLNL and LULI2000)with high-strength magnetic fields,we have investigated the generation of a magnetized collisionless shock and the associated particle *** have characterized the shock as being collisionless and *** report here on measurements of the plasma density and temperature,the electromagnetic field structures,and the particle energization in the experiments,under various conditions of ambient plasma and magnetic *** have also modeled the formation of the shocks using macroscopic hydrodynamic simulations and the associated particle acceleration using kinetic particle-in-cell *** a companion paper to Yao et al.[***.17,1177–1182(2021)],here we show additional results of the experiments and simulations,providing more information to allow their reproduction and to demonstrate the robustness of our interpretation of the proton energization mechanism as being shock surfing acceleration.

Mechanically durable transparent electrodes are essential for achieving long-term stability in flexible optoelectronic ***,they are crucial for applications in the fields of energy,display,healthcare,and soft *** meshes represent a promising alternative to traditional,brittle,metal oxide conductors due to their high electrical conductivity,optical transparency,and enhanced mechanical *** this paper,we present a simple method for fabricating an ultra-transparent conducting metal oxide mesh electrode using selfcracking-assisted *** this method,we produced an electrode with ultra-transparency(97.39%),high conductance(Rs=21.24Ωsq^(−1)),elevated work function(5.16 eV),and good mechanical *** also evaluated the effectiveness of the fabricated electrodes by integrating them into organic photovoltaics,organic light-emitting diodes,and flexible transparent memristor devices for neuromorphic computing,resulting in exceptional device *** addition,the unique porous structure of the vanadium-doped indium zinc oxide mesh electrodes provided excellent flexibility,rendering them a promising option for application in flexible optoelectronics.

Reversible data Hiding Based on Varying Radix Numeral System

Background:Although guidelines recommend systemic therapy even in patients with limited extrahepatic metastases from hepatocellular carcinoma(Hcc),a few recent studies suggested a potential benefit for resection of extrahepatic ***,the benefit of adrenal resection(AR)for adrenal-only metastases(AOM)from Hcc was not proved *** is the first study to compare long-term outcomes of AR to those of sorafenib in patients with AOM from ***:The patients with adrenal metastases(AM)from Hcc were identified from the electronic records of the institution between January 2002 and december *** who presented AM and other sites of extrahepatic disease were ***,the patients with AOM who received other therapies than AR or sorafenib were ***:A total of 34 patients with AM from Hcc were *** of these,22 patients had AOM,6 receiving other treatment than AR or ***,8 patients with AOM underwent AR(AR group),while 8 patients were treated with sorafenib(SOR group).The baseline characteristics of the two groups were not significantly different in terms of age,sex,number and size of the primary tumor,timing of AM diagnosis,child-Pugh and EcOG *** a median follow-up of 15.5 months,in the AR group,the 1-,3-,and 5-year overall survival rates(85.7%,42.9%,and 0%,respectively)were significantly higher than those achieved in the SOR group(62.5%,0%and 0%at 1-,3-and 5-year,respectively)(P=0.009).The median progression-free survival after AR(14 months)was significantly longer than that after sorafenib therapy(6 months,P=0.002).conclusions:In patients with AOM from Hcc,AR was associated with significantly higher overall and progression-free survival rates than systemic therapy with *** results could represent a starting-point for future phase II/III clinical trials.

Electrochemical Study and Electrodeposition of copper（I） in Ionic Liquid-reline

The authors made the electrochemical studies on the electrode processes during copper electrodeposition with ionic liquids-reline as an electrolytic medium. Reline is a commercial name for a eutectic mixture of choline chloride and urea（1：2, molar ratio）. This new proposed method of copper deposition is an ecological one because the ionic liquids are recyclable, non-volatile and non-toxic. cyclic voltammetry investigations were conducted at 343 and 353 K in choline chloride-urea（Reline） deep eutectic solvent with single salt cucl（generally in 0.05--0.38 mol/L concentration range）. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy investigations were conducted in choline chloride- urea ionic liquid with cucI（0.05 mol/L）. We investigated both cathodic and anodic processes of cu＋ ions at different sweep rates in this new electrolytic system based on choline chloride. We have proposed by this an alternative to the classical copper electrodeposition. coefficient of diffusion, do, for the system Reline-cucl is presented and the value of d0 is 1.22× 10^-8 cm2/s.
