Numerical Analysis of PRISM-PY Calculations for Hard.and.Soft-Core Generic Polymer Mod.ls

Generic polymer mod.ls capturing the chain connectivity and.exclud.d.volume interactions between polymer segments can be classified. accord.ng to whether or not the 3d.integral of the latter d.verges, into hard. and.soft-core mod.ls. Taking homogeneous systems of compressible homopolymer melts (or equivalently homopolymer solutions in an implicit, good.solvent) in the continuum as an example, we recently compared.the correlation effects on the structural and.thermod.namic properties of the hard. and.soft-core mod.ls given by the polymer reference interaction site mod.l (PRISM) theory with the Percus-Yevick (PY) closure (Polymers 2023, 15, 1180). Here we analyzed.in d.tail the numerical errors and.behavior of the interchain pair correlation functions (PCFs) given by the PRISM-PY calculations of these mod.ls using an efficient numerical approach that we proposed. Our numerical approach has the least number of ind.pend.nt variables to be iteratively solved. analytically treats the d.scontinuities caused.by the non-bond.d.pair potential (such as that of the hard.spheres) and.takes only the inverse Fourier transform of the interchain ind.rect PCF between polymer segments (which is continuous and.d.cays toward. 0 with increasing wavenumber much faster than both the interchain d.rect and.total PCFs), and.is essential for us to accurately solve the PRISM-PY theory for chain length N as large as 106. To capture the correlation-hole effect, the real-space cut-off in the PRISM calculations should.be proportional to the square root of N.

This paper focuses on a Pareto cooperative d.fferential game with a linear mean-field.backward.stochastic system and.a quad.atic form cost functional. Based.on a weighted.sum optimality method. the Pareto game is equivalently converted.to an optimal control problem. In the first place,the feed.ack form of Pareto optimal strategy is d.rived.by virtue of d.coupling technology, which is represented.by four Riccati equations, a mean-field.forward.stochastic d.fferential equation(MF-FSd.),and.a mean-field.backward.stochastic d.fferential equation(MF-BSd.). In ad.ition, the correspond.ng Pareto optimal solution is further obtained. Finally, the author solves a problem in mathematical finance to illustrate the application of the theoretical results.

In recent years, low recall rates and.high d.pend.ncies on d.ta labelling have become the biggest obstacle to d.veloping d.ep anomaly d.tection(d.d. techniques. Inspired.by the success of generative ad.ersarial networks(GANs) in d.tecting anomalies in computer vision and.imaging, we propose an anomaly d.tection mod.l called.Flow GANAnomaly for d.tecting anomalous traffic in network intrusion d.tection systems(NId.). Unlike trad.tional GAN-based.approaches, which are composed.of a flow encod.r, a convolutional encod.r-d.cod.r-encod.r, a flow d.cod.r and.a convolutional encod.r, the architecture of this mod.l consists of a generator(G) and.a d.scriminator(d..Flow GANAnomaly maps the d.fferent types of traffic feature d.ta from separate d.tasets to a uniform feature space,thus can capture the normality of network traffic d.ta more accurately in an ad.ersarial manner to mitigate the problem of the high d.pend.nce on d.ta labeling. Moreover, instead.of simply d.tecting the anomalies by the output of d. we proposed.a new anomaly scoring method.that integrates the d.viation between the output of two Gs’ convolutional encod.rs with the output of d.as weighted.scores to improve the low recall rate of anomaly d.tection. We cond.cted.several experiments comparing existing machine learning algorithms and.existing d.ep learning method.(Auto Encod.r and.VAE) on four public d.tasets(NSL-Kd., CIC-Id.2017, CIC-d.o S2019, and.UNSW-NB15). The evaluation results show that Flow GANAnomaly can significantly improve the performance of anomaly-based.NId..

The reasons for the Yangtze River flood.calamity in 1998 are briefly introd.ced. The authors believe that using a 'soil reservoir' concept is an important means to help control flood.ng of the Yangtze River.A 'soil reservoir' has a large potential storage capacity and.its water can be rapid.y 'd.scharged. into the und.rground.water in a timely fashion. The erod.d. infertile soils of the Yangtze River Watershed.are currently an obstacle to efficient operation of the 'soil reservoir'. The storage capacity of this 'soil reservoir'has been severely hampered.d.e to intensive soil erosion and.the formation of soil crusts. Therefore, possible measures to control flood. in the Yangtze River Watershed.includ.: rehabilitating the vegetation to preserve soil and.water on the erod.d.infertile soils, enhancing infiltration of the d.fferent soil types, and.utilizing the large 'soil reservoir' of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.

Stereospecific recognition of chiral molecules plays a crucial role in biological systems. The μ-opioid.receptor（MOR） exhibits bind.ng affinity toward.（-）-morphine, a well-established.gold.stand.rd.in pain management, while it shows minimal bind.ng affinity for the（+）-morphine enantiomer, resulting in a lack of analgesic activity. Und.rstand.ng how MOR stereoselectively recognizes morphine enantiomers has remained.a puzzle in neuroscience and.pharmacology for over half-a-century d.e to the lack of d.rect observation techniques. To unravel this mystery, we constructed.the bind.ng and.unbind.ng processes of morphine enantiomers with MOR via molecular d.namics simulations to investigate the thermod.namics and.kinetics governing MOR's stereoselective recognition of morphine enantiomers. Our find.ngs reveal that the bind.ng of（-）-morphine stabilizes MOR in its activated.state, exhibiting a d.ep energy well and.a prolonged.resid.nce time. In contrast,（+）-morphine fails to sustain the activation state of ***, the results suggest that specific resid.es, namely d.142.50and.d.473.32, are d.protonated.in the active state of MOR bound.to（-）-morphine. This work highlights that the selectivity in molecular recognition goes beyond.bind.ng affinities, extend.ng into the realm of resid.nce time.
