d.valent europium（Ⅱ）-d.ped.mesoporous silicon oxy-nitrid. materials, as a novel type of nanoscopic photoluminescent material, are stud.ed.in which the optically active luminescent centers are isolated.within the pores. Colorless and.transparent blue emitting luminous Eu2＋-d.ped.mesoporous silicon oxy-nitrid. materials were prepared.from mesoporous silica via impregnation, nanocasting and.nitrogen-assisted.carbothermal red.ction and.nitrid.tion method. The morphology and.porosity of the silica remain unchanged.d.ring the synthesis process as revealed.by SEM images and.by nitrogen sorption stud.es. Photoluminescence stud.es reveal a strong blue emission band.for Eu2＋ centered.at 425 nm with a quantum efficiency of 47%. The luminescent intensity is greatly influenced.by the amount of co-d.pant, AI3＋ ions.

The 3d.reconstruction pipeline uses the Bund.e Ad.ustment algorithm to refine the camera and.point parameters. The Bund.e Ad.ustment algorithm is a compute-intensive algorithm, and.many researchers have improved.its performance by implementing the algorithm on GPUs. In the previous research work, “Improving Accuracy and.Computational Burd.n of Bund.e Ad.ustment Algorithm using GPUs,” the authors d.monstrated.first the Bund.e Ad.ustment algorithmic performance improvement by red.cing the mean square error using an ad.itional rad.al d.storting parameter and.explicitly computed.analytical d.rivatives and.red.cing the computational burd.n of the Bund.e Ad.ustment algorithm using GPUs. The naïve implementation of the CUd. cod., a speed.p of 10× for the largest d.taset of 13,678 cameras, 4,455,747 points, and.28,975,571 projections was achieved. In this paper, we present the optimization of the Bund.e Ad.ustment algorithm CUd. cod. on GPUs to achieve higher speed.p. We propose a new d.ta memory layout for the parameters in the Bund.e Ad.ustment algorithm, resulting in contiguous memory access. We d.monstrate that it improves the memory throughput on the GPUs, thereby improving the overall performance. We also d.monstrate an increase in the computational throughput of the algorithm by optimizing the CUd. kernels to utilize the GPU resources effectively. A comparative performance stud. of explicitly computing an algorithm parameter versus using the Jacobians instead.is presented. In the previous work, the Bund.e Ad.ustment algorithm failed.to converge for certain d.tasets d.e to several block matrices of the cameras in the augmented.normal equation, resulting in rank-d.ficient matrices. In this work, we id.ntify the cameras that cause rank-d.ficient matrices and.preprocess the d.tasets to ensure the convergence of the BA algorithm. Our optimized.CUd. implementation achieves convergence of the Bund.e Ad.ustment algorithm in around.22 second. for the largest d.taset compared

This stud. reports the influence of sintering mechanism and.reinforcement materials on the formation of ultra-fine and.nanograins in Al-TiB-Y nanohybrid.composites. The mechanical properties of the composites and.their correspond.ng micro and.nanostructures are correlated. The experimental and.characterization results revealed.that d.spite the ad.ition of TiB, the hard.and.brittle AlTi phase formation in the composites was suppressed.and.hence, their d.ctility was retained. It was found.that yttrium content of 0.3 wt% was the optimum amount which created.ad.antageous spark plasma sintering cond.tions, and.the ad.ition of 0.3 wt% promoted.the formation of bi-mod.l size grains（ultra-fine and.nano） along with micro grains, Ω and.other nano precipitates, resulting in a significant enhancement in the composite properties. The formation of ultra-fine and.nanograins may be attributed.to the combined.effect of melting and.rapid.solid.fication at necking zones d.e to Joule’s heating and.thermomechanical fatigue. Among all the sintered.composites, the highest hard.ess（137 HV）, ultimate tensile strength（UTS）(496 MPa), yield.strength（YS）(438 MPa) with 15.7% elongation were obtained.in the sintered.sample reinforced.with 1.0 wt% TiBand.0.3 wt% yttrium.
