In this paper, the effects of both rotation and.magnetic field.of the peristaltic transport of a second.ord.r fluid.through a porous med.um in a channel are stud.ed.analytically and.computed.numerically. The material is represented.by the constitutive equations for a second.ord.r fluid. Closed.form solutions und.r the consid.ration of long wavelength and.low Reynold. number is presented. The analytical expressions for the pressure grad.ent, pressure rise, friction force, stream function, shear stress, and.velocity are obtained.in the physical d.main. The effects of the non-d.mensional wave amplitud., porosity, magnetic field. rotation, and.the d.mensionless time-mean flow in the wave frame are analyzed.theoretically and.computed.numerically. Numerical results are given and.illustrated.graphically in each case consid.red. Comparison was mad. with the results obtained.in the presence and.absence of rotation, magnetic field. and.porosity. The results ind.cate that the effects of the non-d.mensional wave amplitud., porosity, magnetic field. rotation, and.the d.mensionless time-mean flow are very pronounced.in the phenomena.

The GC-Ion Trap mS is recently one of the most efficient instrumental analysis recommend.d.for und.rstand.ng the chemistry of these organic compound., not only in water but even in the food.chain and.other environmental med.a (air and.soil). Results of the experiment cond.cted.on water samples from Kuguri and.Yatsutani sampling stations showed.consid.rably higher levels of organic enrichment (COd.10 mg/L and.11 mg/L respectively). Total concentrations of Pb (0.072 mg/L and.0.093 mg/L) and.Cd.(0.004 mg/Land.0.011 mg/L) on the other hand. invariably exceed.d.the maximum allowable concentrations for human health and.the living environment (Pb=0.005 mg/L; Cd.0.001 mg/L respectively). And.the toxicity levels for these contaminants at LC_50 showed.critical impact on rainbow trout (hypersensitive species) at 0.14 mg/L for Pb and.0.007 mg/L for Cd.in 96 hours respectively. Although these major contaminants includ.ng phenol and.3-, 4-cresol, showed.relatively higher toxicity impact in the experimental med.a, it would.remain contentious to justify any associated.potential d.ngers without regular routine water monitoring, at least for a period.of one year. Nevertheless, the d.ta could.serve as a benchmark through which other phenomena can easily be investigated.

Wire breakages and.spark absence are two typical machining failures that occur d.ring wire electric d.scharge machining(wire-Ed.),if appropriate parameter settings are not *** after several attempts to optimize the process,machining failures cannot be eliminated.completely.A n offline classification mod.l is presented.herein to pred.ct machining *** aim of the current stud. is to d.velop a multiclass classification mod.l using an artificial neural network(ANN).The training d.taset comprises 81 full factorial experiments with three levels of pulse-on time,pulse-off time,servo voltage,and.wire feed.rate as input *** classes are labeled.as normal machining,spark absence,and.wire *** mod.l accuracy is tested.by cond.cting 20 confirmation experiments,and.the mod.l is d.scovered.to be 95%accurate in classifying the machining *** effects of process parameters on the process failures are d.scussed.and.analyzed.A microstructural analysis of the machined.surface and.worn wire surface is *** d.veloped.mod.l proved.to be an easy and.fast solution for verifying and.eliminating process failures.

The imped.nce spectroscopy,electrical cond.ctivity and.electric mod.lus of bulk phenol red.were measured.as a function of both frequency and.*** neural networks(ANNs)were used.for mod.ling its electrical *** two parts(real and.imaginary)of its complex imped.nce(Z^*)were analyzed.and.the activation energy related.to the electrical relaxation process was *** curves were plotted.showing semicircles for the d.fferent *** AC electrical cond.ctivity follows a power lawσac(ω)αω^η.The maximum barrier height Bm was d.rived.for specific temperatures.A plausible mechanism for the AC cond.ction of bulk phenol red.was d.d.ced.from the temperature reliance of the frequency *** d.electric d.ta was analyzed.using electric mod.lus as a *** ad.ition,ANNs were used.to mod.l the imped.nce parts and.the total electrical *** runs were tried.to obtain the best *** training and.pred.ction results were compared.to the equivalent experimental results,with a good.match *** equation d.scribing the experimental results was obtained.mathematically,based.on the use of *** outputs d.monstrated.that ANNs are an ad.irable tool for mod.ling experimental results.

Stainless steel crud. alloy recovery from d.rect smelting of low-grad. chromite, nickel laterite and.manganese ores was investigated. The mixed.low-grad. ores were d.rectly smelted.in an elevator furnace at smelting temperatures ranging from 1550 to 1600 ℃. Smelting experiments were cond.cted.in a laboratory elevator furnace equipped.with 8 U-shaped.high- quality molybd.num d.silicid. heating elements. A low-grad. coal was used.as the red.ctant. Experimental results showed.that the recovery of Fe, Cr, Ni, mn and.Si within the alloy increased.from 34.22, 60.27, 57.14, 25.42 and.13.02% to 69.91, 99.26, 86.02, 60.8 and.34.21%, respectively, when the temperature was increased.from 1550 to 1600 ℃. There was a general increase in the total recoveries of Fe, Cr, and.Ni in the alloy with CaO ad.ition increasing from 0.4 g up to 1.2 g. however, the recoveries of mn and.Si vivid.y d.creased.as the CaO contents were increased. In general, the recoveries of the metal contents of the crud. alloy increase with the increase in the amount of manganese ore. Compared.to the recoveries of Fe, Cr, and.Ni when CaO was ad.ed. the recoveries of Fe, Cr and.Ni were lower when manganese ore was used.as an ad.itive.
