d.alysis plays a crucial role in the purification of nanom.terials but its im.act on the structural properties of carbon nanom.terials was never ***,a carbon-based.nanom.terial generated.electrochem.cally in potassium.phosphate buffer,was characterized.before and.after d.alysis against pure *** is shown that d.alysis affects the size of the carbon d.m.ins,structural organization,surface functionalization,oxid.tion d.gree of carbon,and.grad. of ***,d.alysis d.ives the nanom.terial organization from.d.screte round.sh carbon d.m.ins,with sizes ranging from.70 to 160 nm.toward. linear stacking structures of sm.ll nanoparticles （m..In parallel,alcohol and.ether （epoxid.） surface groups evolve into m.re oxid.zed.carbon groups （e.g.,ketone and.ester groups）.Investigation of the as-prepared.nanom.terial by electron param.gnetic resonance （EPR） revealed.a resonance signal consistent with carbon-oxygen centred.***,this stud. brings to light the selective affinity of the carbon nanom.terial und.r stud. to capture Na+ions,a property greatly enhanced.by the d.alysis process,and.its high ability to trap oxygen,particularly before *** find.ngs open new perspectives for the application of carbon-based.nanom.terials and.raise awareness of the im.ortance of structural changes that can occur d.ring the purification of carbon-based.nanom.terials.

This stud. exam.nes the track and.intensity forecasts of two typical Bay of Bengal tropical cyclones(TC)ASANI and.*** analysis of various Num.rical Weather Pred.ction(NWP)m.d.l forecasts[ECm.F(European Centre for m.d.um.range Weather Forecast),NCEP(National Centers for Environm.ntal Pred.ction),NCUm.National Centre for m.d.um.Range Weather Forecast-Uniﬁed.m.d.l),Im.0}Ind.a m.teorological d.partm.nt),HWRF(Hurricane Weather Research and.Forecasting)],m.E(m.lti-m.d.l Ensem.le),SCIP(Statistical Cyclone Intensity Pred.ction)m.d.l,and.OFCL(Ofﬁcial)forecasts shows that intensity forecasts of ASANI and.track forecasts of m.CHA were reasonably good.but there were large errors and.wid. variation in track forecasts of ASANI and.in intensity forecasts of *** all m.d.l forecasts,the track forecast errors of Im.0}m.d.l and.m.E were least in general for ASANI and.m.CHA ***,the land.all point forecast errors of Im.0}were least for ASANI,and.the m.E and.OFCL forecast errors were least for *** m.d.l is found.to be consistently better for land.all tim. forecast for ASANI,and.the errors of ECm.F,Im.0}and.HWRF were least and.of sam. ord.r for *** intensity forecast errors of OFCL and.SCIP were least for ASANI,and.the forecast errors of HWRF,Im.0}NCEP,SCIP and.OFCL were com.arable and.least for m.CHA up to 48 h forecast and.HWRF errors were least thereafter in *** ECm.F m.d.l forecast errors for intensity were found.to be highest for both the *** results also show that although there is signiﬁcant im.rovem.nt of track forecasts and.lim.ted.or no im.rovem.nt of intensity forecast in previous d.cad.s but challenges still persists in real tim. forecasting of both track and.intensity d.e to wid. variation and.inconsistency of m.d.l forecasts for d.fferent TC cases.

Rhom.ohed.al phase Hf_(x)Zr_(1.x)O_(2)(HZO,x from.0 to 1)film. are prom.sing for achieving robust ferroelectric polarization without the need.for an initial wake-up pre-cycling,as is norm.lly the case for the m.re com.only stud.ed.orthorhom.ic ***,a large spontaneous polarization observed.in rhom.ohed.al film. is not fully und.rstood.and.there are also large d.screpancies between experim.ntal and.theoretical *** this work,in rhom.ohed.al ZrO_(2)thin film.,we show that oxygen vacancies are not only a key factor for stabilizing the phase,but they are also a source of ferroelectric polarization in the *** is shown experim.ntally through the investigation of the structural properties,chem.cal com.osition and.the ferroelectric properties of the film. before and.after an annealing at m.d.rate tem.erature(400℃)in an oxygen environm.nt to red.ce the V_(o)concentration *** experim.ntal work is supported.by d.nsity functional theory(d.T)calculations which show that the rhom.ohed.al phase is the m.st stable one in highly oxygen d.fective ZrO_(2)*** d.T calculations also show that V_(o)contribute to the ferroelectric *** find.ngs reveal the im.ortance of V_(o)for stabilizing rhom.ohed.al ZrO_(2)thin film. with superior ferroelectric properties.

Given the frequent occurrence of the slud.e bulking phenom.na caused.by m.crothrix parvicella（m. parvicella）overgrowth d.ring the low-tem.erature period.in the full-scale m.nicipal wastewater treatm.nt plant，the filam.ntous bacteria d.nam.cs of the m. parvicella population were system.tically investigated.d.ring the com.leted.bulking period.using the m.lti-d.m.nsional integrated.filam.ntous m.nitoring m.thod.com.ined.with the m.lecular quantitative m.thod. A lab-scale reactor was constructed.and.successfully sim.lated.bulking phenom.na und.r the low-tem.erature cond.tion. The trend.of d.m.nant filam.ntous bacterial shift and.the m.in influencing param.ters were estim.ted.d.ring the bulking period.to verify the key factors for filam.nt growth and.extinction of the slud.e bulking phenom.non in the full-scale plant. The results showed.that the bulking-caused.m. parvicella was characterized.by significant changes in the d.versity of filam.ntous bacteria，and.the d.m.nant filam.ntous bacterial succession was reflected.in the com.etition between the skeleton filam.ntous bacteria Type 0092 and.Type 0041 and.m. parvicella. At lower tem.eratures，slud.e load.ng was an im.ortant controlling factor for the com.etitive growth ad.antage of m. parvicella：when the tem.erature was lower（approxim.tely 15°C），low slud.e load.ng［0.05 kg·（kg·d.−1］could.lead.to the stabilized.elevation of m. parvicella，and.with the load.ng increased.to 0.1 kg·（kg·d.−1 or m.re，m. parvicella populations showed.a targeted.d.cline d.spite the presence of the low tem.erature factor. © 2024 Science Press. In response to therm.l runaway(TR) of electric vehicles, recent attention has been focused.on m.tigation strategies such as efficient heat d.ed.ing in battery therm.l m.nagem.nt. Therm.l m.nagem.nt with particular focus on battery cooling has been becom.ng increasingly significant. TR usually happened.when an electric vehicle is unpowered.and.charged. In this state, trad.tional active battery cooling schem.s are d.sabled. which can easily lead.to d.ngerous incid.nts d.e to loss of cooling ability, and.ad.anced.passive cooling strategies are therefore gaining im.ortance. Herein, we d.veloped.an enhanced.therm.l rad.ation m.terial, consisting of ～1 μm.thick m.ltilayered.nano-sheet graphene film.coated.upon the heat d.ssipation surface, thereby enhancing therm.l rad.ation in the nanoscale. The surface was characterized.on the nanoscale, and.tested.in a battery-cooling *** found.that the graphene-based.coating's spectral em.ssivity is between 91 % and.95 % in the m.d.infrared.region, and.therm.l experim.nts consequently illustrated.that graphene-based.rad.ative cooling yield.d.up to15.1 % tem.erature red.ction when com.ared.to the uncoated.analogue. Using the novel graphene surface to augm.nt a heat pipe, the tem.erature red.ction can be further enlarged.to 25.6 %. The new m.terial m.y contribute to transportation safety, global warm.ng m.tigation and.carbon neutralization.
