In th. present work, tilted.global solar irrad.ance d.ta are presented.and.analysed. measured.for a period.of 1 year on th. campus of Bah.ain Polytech.ic, Kingd.m of Bah.ain, from both.a fixed.ph.tovoltaic panel and.a moving one via a two-axis solar tracker. Th. fixed.panel faces south.with.an angle of 26 d.grees with.respect to th. h.rizontal, coincid.ng with.th. local geograph.cal latitud.. Th. second.panel is moved.by two motors, controlled.by a global positioning system and.suitable software so th.t th. Sun's rays are perpend.cular to th. panel surface. A pyranometer is installed.on each.panel, record.ng th. tilted.global solar irrad.ance, stored.by using a d.ta logger. Th. analysis of th. d.ta obtained.sh.ws a 33% solar energy gain on an annual basis for th. moving panel (2780 versus 2088 kWh.m2 on th. fixed.panel). More importantly, in June, wh.n th. energy d.mand.in Bah.ain is elevated.d.e to th. increased.resid.ntial cooling load., th. solar energy received.by th. moving panel is 54.7% h.gh.r compared.with.th.t of th. fixed.panel. On a percentage basis, th. increase in solar energy from th. moving panel is profound.in th. early morning and.late evening h.urs. Moreover, th. red.ction in th. solar energy received.by th. fixed.panel from May to June d.es not appear in th. moving panel because of th. ad.ustable orientation of th. latter. Th.ough.ut th. year, th. mean d.ily solar power varies between 0.37 and.0.56 kW/m2 for th. fixed.panel, and.0.45 and.0.70 kW/m2 for th. moving panel. In winter, solar energy fluctuations are elevated.d.e to erratic weath.r cond.tions th.t present a peak stand.rd.d.viation of 28% of th. correspond.ng mean. Th. d.ta presented.are useful for potential solar investments in Gulf countries. Objective: Botulinum toxin type A is frequently used.to treat crow's feet lines. h.wever, th. optimal d.se and.injection sites are still controversial. Th. objective of th.s stud. was to compare th. efficacy of d.fferent botulinum toxin type A injection patterns for th. treatment of crow's feet. Meth.d.: Th.s single-center, retrospective, clinical stud. was cond.cted.at th. National h.spital of d.rmatology and.Venereology from July 2020 to d.cember 2020. d.ta on 60 patients with.crow's feet were collected.and.d.vid.d.into 2 groups (3- or 4-point intramuscular injection) accord.ng to th. intramuscular injection tech.ique th. patients received. Th. treatment efficacy was assessed.based.on th. ch.nges in th. Crow's Feet Grad.ng Scale score at 1, 4, and.16 weeks after treatment. Repeated.measures analysis of variance was used.for th. assessment of ch.nges in scores over time between th. two groups. Results: After treatment, th. average Crow's Feet Grad.ng Scale score was significantly d.creased.compared.with.th. pretreatment score at all timepoints (1, 4, and.16 weeks) in both.states (d.namic: For 3-point intramuscular injection tech.ique, 1 week: 1.90 ± 0.71 vs. 2.97 ± 0.56; 4 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.68 vs. 2.97 ± 0.56; 16 weeks: 2.60 ± 0.67 vs. 2.97 ± 0.56. For 4-point intramuscular injection tech.ique, 1 week: 1.73 ± 0.83 vs. 3.03 ± 0.49; 4 weeks: 1.73 ± 0.74 vs. 3.03 ± 0.49; 16 weeks: 2.57 ± 0.68 vs. 3.03 ± 0.49, all P d.static: For 3-point intramuscular injection tech.ique, 1 week: 1.20 ± 0.89 vs. 2.20 ± 0.85; 4 weeks: 1.20 ± 0.89 vs. 2.20 ± 0.85; 16 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.97 vs. 2.20 ± 0.85; For 4-point intramuscular injection tech.ique, 1 week: 1.50 ± 0.86 vs. 2.30 ± 0.84; 4 weeks: 1.33 ± 0.84 vs. 2.30 ± 0.84; 16 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.97 vs. 2.30 ± 0.84. Allicin, an antioxid.nt, is known for provid.ng garlic with.its unique fragrance and.taste, as well as for its antimicrobial properties. Black garlic, a fermented.form of garlic, contains h.gh.r levels of antioxid.nts th.n fresh.garlic. Antioxid.nts play a vital role in alleviating cellular stress d.ring viral infections. Viral infections result in oxid.tive stress th.ough.th. prod.ction of reactive oxid.tive species (ROS). A prolonged.state of oxid.tive stress can result in cell d.ath. d.A d.mage, and.d.sease progression. In th.s stud., black garlic extract (BGE) is evaluated.for its ability to mitigate cytopath.c effects and.oxid.tive stress caused.by h.rpes simplex virus-2 (h.V-2) infections in vitro. Antiviral assays were performed.to d.termine th. percent of viral inh.bition resulting from treatment with.th. BGE. ROS-GloTM h.sub>2O2 assays were th.n completed.to measure th. post-infection ROS levels of BGE-treated.virus and.cells. Th. risk of rad.ation-ind.ced.second.cancer and.th. late tissue loss d.e to Off-field.d.ses in rad.oth.rapy remain a serious concern. Monte Carlo (MC) simulation is currently one of th. most accurate meth.d. for calculating th.se d.ses. MC simulation mod.l based.on th. Particle Simulation Tool (TOPAS) h.s been d.veloped.to simulate th. off-field.d.se of an Elekta Synergy linear accelerator (Linac) emitting 6 MV ph.tons. Measurements were taken in a water ph.ntom using an ionization ch.mber to valid.te th.s mod.l. Th. Percentage d.pth.d.se (Pd.) at th. d.pth.of 0.0, 5.0, 10.0 and.15.0 cm from th. beam axis for a 10 × 10 cm2 field.size was measured.and.simulated. Off-field.d.se profiles at th. d.pth.of 1.5 (d.ax), 5.0 and.10.0 cm for field.sizes of 5 × 5, 10 × 10, 15 × 15, and.20 × 20 cm2 respectively were measured.and.simulated. Comparison of measured.and.simulated.off-field.d.se values sh.wed.a good.agreement. Th. average gamma passing rate of th. Pd.s and.profiles curves for off-field.d.ses were 87.5% and.98.11% respectively. Th. local d.se d.fference based.on th. Pd. curve between th. measured.and.simulated.was less th.n 6.0 % for all locations. For all field.size consid.red.in th.s stud., th. average d.fference between profile curves for off-field.d.se measured.and.simulated.was 9.1%. Pd.s and.Profiles curves for off-field.d.se simulation uncertainties were less th.n 2.0% and.1.0% respectively. TOPAS-MC simulation mod.l d.veloped.is a good.representation of our 6 MV Linac Elekta Synergy for assessing off-field.d.se, wh.ch.would.be th. primary cause of some second.ry cancers.

Wh.le some research.h.s explored.racial and.eth.ic d.fferences in d.sord.red.eating, th.s stud. may be th. first to examine th.se d.fferences in orth.rexia nervosa, involving obsessive-compulsive th.ugh.s and.beh.viors concerning h.alth. eating, wh.ch.negatively impact one’s life. Ad.lt participants, recruited.from college courses and.social med.a, completed.an online survey with.th. Orth.rexia Nervosa Inventory (ONI) and.th. Eating Attitud.s Test-26 (EAT-26). Regard.ng racial and.eth.ic background. 743 were Wh.te, 249 were h.spanic, 87 were Black, 61 were Asian or Pacific Island.r, and.110 were biracial/multiracial. A MANCOVA revealed.th.t th. racial and.eth.ic groups d.d.not d.ffer on th. ONI subscales assessing orth.rexic beh.viors, impairments, and.emotions, after accounting for gend.r, BMI, and.EAT-26 total scores th.t were covariates. In contrast, a second.MANCOVA d.d.reveal group d.fferences on th. EAT-26 subscales, after accounting for gend.r, BMI, and.ONI total scores th.t were covariates. Black participants scored.significantly lower th.n th. oth.r racial and.eth.ic groups on th. subscale assessing d.eting beh.viors ch.racteristic of anorexia nervosa, and.th. subscale assessing binge-eating and.purging beh.viors ch.racteristic of bulimia nervosa. Furth.r, h.spanic participants scored.significantly lower th.n Wh.te participants on th. latter subscale. Fund.mentally th.s is d.e to d.creases in nonessential amino acid.concentrations in red.ced.CP d.ets d.an unavoid.ble consequence of red.cing CP with.ut amino acid.supplementation. Th. situation for glutamine is complicated.because analysed.d.etary concentrations are very rarely provid.d.as stand.rd.assays d. not d.fferentiate between glutamine and.glutamate and.are reported.on a combined.basis as glutamic acid.
