Background. Violence against women has become an international public health and.human rights issue in recent d.cad.s. The violence suffered.by sex workers is of little interest for research, yet it constitutes a major health and.safety problem. We propose to assess the extent of the phenomenon of gend.r-based.violence (GBV) among sex workers (SWs) in the city of Bangui in the CAR. Method.logy: This is a d.scriptive cross-sectional epid.miological stud. covering the period.from July to October 2021 carried.out among SWs in Bangui, the capital of the CAR. Given that the SWs association had.only 159 members in Bangui, an exhaustive sampling was retained. Were includ.d.in the stud., any SW present d.ring the d.ta collection period.and.having given their written consent. The parameters stud.ed.were socio-d.mographic characteristics: age, sex, resid.nce, level of ed.cation, marital status, and.characteristics linked.to violence: the notion of violence d.ring their professional activity, the type of violence, the d.claration and.the d.claration if necessary, the response and.management of this violence. The d.ta collected.was analyzed.using Epi info version 7 software. Results: Of the 159 SWs that counted.the association, 108 had.been includ.d. The average age was 27.0 years with extremes of 14 and.46 years. The age groups of 25 to 34 years were the most represented.(43.5%). Fifty-six SWs (51.9%) had.reached.the second.ry level. Unemployed.SWs were in the majority at 74.1%;Sixty-six (66) SWs in our sample (61.1%) had.alread. been victims of violence d.ring the exercise of their activity Sexual violence was the most represented.(28.5%) followed.by verbal violence (22.4%). Sixty-eight (62.9%) wanted.to stop the professional activity of SWs and.93.1% would.accept another income-generating activity in place of sex work. Conclusion: It is necessary to supervise SWs and.protect them within the framework of respect for human rights, rather than criminalizing them and.the exploit

This work shows that d.spite a lattice mismatch of almost 20%, Cd.nTe/Cd.e/Cd.nTe heterostructures grown d.rectly on Si(111) have surprisingly good.optical emission properties. The investigated.structures were grown by molecular beam epitaxy and.characterized.by scanning transmission electron microscopy, macro-and.micro-photoluminescence. Low temperature macro-photoluminescence experiments ind.cate three emission band. which d.pend.on the Cd.e layer thickness and.have d.fferent confinement characteristics. Temperature measurements reveal that the lower energy emission band.(at 1.48 eV)is associated.to d.fects and.bound.exciton states, while the main emission at 1.61 eV has a weak 2d.character and.the higher energy one at 1.71 eV has a well-d.fined.(zero-d.mensional, 0d. 0d.nature. Micro-photoluminescence measurements show the existence of sharp and.strongly circularly polarized.(up to 40%) emission lines which can be related.to the presence of Mn in the heterostructure. This result opens the possibility of prod.cing photon sources with the typical spin control of the d.luted.magnetic semicond.ctors using the low-cost silicon technology.

We have carried.out at laboratory test to stud. the feasibility of using thermal rad.ation d.tectors for online thermal monitoring of electrical systems in wind.turbines. A 25 kW frequency converter is instrumented.with a thermal camera, operating in the 8-14 μm wave- length range, and.a single-pixel thermopile sensor, operating in the 4-8 μm wavelength range, to monitor the temperature d.velopment of the power electronics und.r various load.sequences. Both systems performed.satisfactorily with insignificant temperature d.viations when compared.to d.ta from calibrated.point contact sensor. With spatial averaging over a 7 mm × 7 mm for the camera and.temporal averaging over 60 s for the thermo- pile sensor, we red.ce the root mean square noise to 45 mK and.68 mK respectively. The low cost and.simple operation of the thermopile sensor make it very attractive for cond.tion monitoring applications, whereas the attractive feature of the camera is the possibility of multi-point or d.stributed.temperature measurements.

The loess-paleosol sequence in China record. abund.nt and.valuable information on the global and.regional climate changes. Biological record.from the loess sequence is the most d.rect evid.nce on variation in pattern of paleo-atmospheric circulation and.changes in winter and.summer monsoon. A new record.of climatic instability, which occurred.in the Loess Plateau d.ring the late glacial period. is presented. Through the stud. of terrestrial mollusks from three loess sequences, the authors intend.to characterize the biological response process to rapid.climate change and.to learn the mechanisms d.iving the instable climate changes and.the possible linkage in d.fferent regions. As life expectancy rises, the prevalence of heart failure is stead.ly increasing, while d.nors for organ transplantation remain in short supply （Zwi-d.ntsis and.Gepstein, 2012）. Ind.ed. myocard.al infarction represents the foremost cause of d.ath within ind.strialized.nations （Henning, 2011） and.further, approximately 1% of all newborns harbor a congenital heart d.fect. Although med.cal interventions allow 〉 80% of those with card.ac d.fects to survive to ad.lthood. there are often extreme emotional and.financial burd.ns that accompany such congenital anomalies, and.many ind.vid.als will remain at a heightened.risk for myocard.al infarction throughout the remaind.r of their lives （Verheugt et al., 2010; Amianto et al., 2011）. In this review, we will d.scuss the nature of the failing heart and.strategies for repair from an epigenetic stand.oint. Significant focus will resid. on pluripotent-to-card.omyocyte d.fferentiation for cell replacement, epigenetic mechanisms of card.omyocyte d.fferentiation, epigenetic ＂memories,＂ and.epigenetic control of card.omyocyte cell fate toward.translational utility.

The prostate secretory protein of 94 amino acid. （PSP94） has been shown to interact with cysteine-rich secretory protein 3 （CRISP-3） in human seminal plasma. Interestingly, PSP94 expression is red.ced.or lost in the majority of the prostate tumours, whereas CRISP-3 expression is upregulated.in prostate cancer compared.with normal prostate tissue. To obtain a better und.rstand.ng of the ind.vid.al roles these proteins have in prostate tumourigenesis and.the functional relevance of their interaction, we ectopically expressed.either PSP94 or CRISP-3 alone or PSP94 along with CRISP-3 in three prostate cell lines （PC3, WPE1-NB26 and.LNCaP） and.performed.growth inhibition assays. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and.Western blot analysis were used.to screen prostate cell lines for PSP94 and.CRISP-3 expression. Mammalian expression constructs for human PSP94 and.CRISP-3 were also generated.and.the expression, localization and.secretion of recombinant protein were assayed.by transfection followed.by Western blot analysis and.immunofluorescence assay. The effect that ectopic expression of PSP94 or CRISP-3 had.on cell growth was stud.ed.by clonogenic survival assay follokving transfection. To evaluate the effects of coexpression of the two proteins, stable clones of PC3 that expressed.PSP94 were generated. They were subsequently transfected.with a CRISP-3 expression construct and.subjected.to clonogenic survival assay. Our results showed.that PSP94 and.CRISP-3 could.each ind.ce growth inhibition in a cell line specific manner. Although the growth of CRISP-3-positive cell lines was inhibited.by PSP94, growth inhibition med.ated.by CRISP-3 was not affected.by the presence or absence of PSP94. This suggests that CRISP-3 may participate in PSP94-ind.pend.nt activities d.ring prostate tumourigenesis.

In the present paper, three complicated.non- linear d.fferential equations in the field.of vibration, which are Vand.rpol, Rayleigh and.d.ffing equations, have been analyzed.and.solved.completely by Algebraic Method.（AGM）. Investigating this kind.of equations is a very hard.task to d. and.the obtained.solution is not accurate and.reliable. This issue will be emerged.after comparing the achieved.solutions by numerical method.（Runge-Kutte 4th）. Based.on the comparisons which have been mad. between the gained.solutions by AGM and.numerical method. it is possible to ind.cate that AGM can be successfully applied.for various d.fferential equations particularly for d.fficult ones. The results reveal that this method.is not only very effective and.simple, but also reliable, and.can be applied.for other complicated.nonlinear problems.

In this paper, we aim to promote the capability of solving two complicated.nonlinear d.fferential equa- tions： 1） Static analysis of the structure with variable cross section areas and.materials with slope-d.flection method. 2） the problem of one d.mensional heat transfer with a logarithmic various surface A （x） and.a logarithmic various heat generation G（x） with a simple and.innovative approach entitled.＂Akbari-Ganji＇s method. （AGM）. Comparisons are mad. between AGM and.numerical method. the results of which reveal that this method.is very effective and.simple and.can be applied.for other nonlinear problems. It is significant that there are some valuable ad.antages in this method.and.also most of the d.fferential equations sets can be answered.in this manner while in other method. there is no guarantee to obtain the good.results up to now. Brief excellences of this method.compared.to other approaches are as follows： 1） d.fferential equations can be solved.d.rectly by this method. 2） without any d.mensionless proced.re, equation（s） can be solved. 3） it is not necessary to convert variables into new ones. Accord.ng to the aforementioned.assertions which are proved.in this case stud., the process of solving nonlinear equation（s） is very easy and.convenient in comparison to other method..

An analysis has been performed.to stud. the problem of magneto-hyd.od.namic （MHd. squeeze flow of an electrically cond.cting fluid.between two infinite, parallel d.sks. The analytical method. called.Homotopy Analysis Method.（HAM） and.Homotopy Perturbation Method.（HPM） have been used.to solve nonlinear d.fferential equations. It has been attempted.to show the capabilities and.wid.-range applications of the proposed.method. in comparison with a type of numerical analysis as Bound.ry Value Problem （BVP） in solving this problem. Also, the velocity field. have been computed.and.shown graphically for various values of physical parameters. The objective of the present work is to investigate the effect of squeeze Reynold. number, Hartmann number and.the suction/injection parameter on the velocity field. Furthermore, the results reveal that HAM and.HPM are very effective and.convenient.

Scrutiny of non-linear d.fferential equations Euler-Bernoulli beam with large rotational d.viation by AGM

The kinematic assumptions upon which the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory is found.d.allow it to be extend.d.to more ad.anced.analysis. Simple superposition allows for three-d.mensional transverse load.ng. Using alternative constitutive equations can allow for viscoelastic or plastic beam d.formation. Euler-Bernoulli beam theory can also be extend.d.to the analysis of curved.beams, beam buckling, composite beams and.geometrically nonlinear beam d.flection. In this stud., solving the nonlinear d.fferential equation governing the calculation of the large rotation d.viation of the beam （or column） has been d.scussed. Previously to calculate the rotational d.viation of the beam, the assumption is mad. that the angular d.viation of the beam is small. By consid.ring the small slope in the linearization of the governing d.fferential equation, the solving is easy. The result of this simplifica- tion in some cases will lead.to an excessive error. In this paper nonlinear d.fferential equations governing on this system are solved.analytically by Akbari-Ganji＇s method.（AGM）. Moreover, in AGM by solving a set of algebraic equations, complicated.nonlinear equations can easily be solved.and.without any mathematical operations such as integration solving. The solution of the problem can be obtained.very simply and.easily. Furthermore, to enhance the accuracy of the results, the Taylor expansion is notneed.d.in most cases via AGM manner. Also, comparisons are mad. between AGM and.numerical method.（Runge- Kutta 4th）. The results reveal that this method.is very effective and.simple, and.can be applied.for other nonlinear problems.
