A metal matrix composite constitutes a continuous metallic matrix and a discontinuous phase known as reinforcement. The hybrid metal matrix composites (Hmmcs) have been used to manufacture drive shafts, disc brake rotors, brake drums, connecting rods pistons, engine block cylinder liners for automotive and rail vehicle applications. The Hmmcs castings of diameter 120 mm and length 300 mm were prepared through sand mould technique following stir casting methodology. The cast components further subjected to evaluation of physical properties and machining tests using two grades of coated inserts and PCD inserts. The experiments were carried out following ISO 3685 standards. The coating thickness of the TiN coated and TiAlN coated inserts were measured using Kalo testing method; the results of the test show that the interface of the substrate and coating was free from the porosity, and the coating thickness of TiN coating was 4.84 microns and TiAlN coating was measured 4.6 microns. The results of the experiments show that performance of the PCD insert was better than coated inserts at 0.1 mm/rev feed;d.na;">d.na;">d.na;">d.na;"> howev.r at 0.2 mm/rev.lution feed.PCd.insert failed.by micro chipping of cutting ed.e while ma

The main objectiv. of the present work is to d.sign aspirin nanoparticles load.d.suppositories which will red.ce the sid. effects caused.by aspirin suppositories. Aspirin nanoparticles were prepared.initially based.on ionic-gelation mechanism and.lyophilized. The prepared.nanoparticles were ev.luated. and.the results confirmed.that Fa9 formulation was the best with greater d.ug entrapment efficiency. Aspirin suppositories were prepared.in ord.r to inv.stigate the best base composition. The prepared.suppositories were ev.luated.and.FS1, FS3, FS4, FSS, FS1 l, and.FS12 were prov.d.to be the best base compositions based.on d.ssolution performed. The lyophilized.aspirin nanoparticles of Fa9 were used.to prepare aspirin nanoparticles load.d.suppositories. The in v.tro results rev.aled.that Fasl 1 was the best formulation.

The oxid.tiv. d.hyd.ogenation （Od.） of propane was cond.cted.on gallium, aluminum, and.chromium d.ped.Si30v.gO catalysts. On d.ping, the concentrations of the phases responsible for the activ.ty and.selectiv.ty increased.in their concentrations. The reaction stud.es were cond.cted.in a tubular steel reactor at temperatures of 753, 783, 813, and.843 K and.atmospheric pressure. The total flow rates of the feed.were chosen as 30, 40, 50, and.60 ml/min. The propane to oxygen ratios were chosen at 1 ： 1, 2 ： 1, and.3 ： 1, respectiv.ly. The effect of v.rious d.pants on the activ.ty and.selectiv.ty of the catalysts was stud.ed. d.activ.tion stud.es were cond.cted.ov.r all the catalysts. The kinetic d.ta were analyzed.in terms of power law mod.ls and.Langmuir-Hinshelwood.（LH） mod.ls. The kinetic d.ta results were analyzed.by comparing the effect of d.pants. Statistical mod.l d.scrimination was d.ne for the proposed.mod.ls. AIC and.BIC criteria were used.for d.scrimination of the mod.ls.

The Arav.lli-d.lhi and.Satpura Mobile Belts （Ad.B and.SMB） and.the Eastern Ghat Mobile Belt （EGMB） in Ind.a form major Proterozoic mobile belts with ad.oining cratons and.contemporary basins. The most conv.ncing features of the Ad.B and.the SMB hav. been the crustal layers d.pping from both sid.s in opposite d.rections, crustal thickening （ -45 km） and.high d.nsity and.high cond.ctiv.ty rocks in upper/ lower crust associated.with faults/thrusts. These observ.tions ind.cate conv.rgence while d.mal type re- flectors in the lower crust suggest an extensional rifting phase. In case of the SMB, ev.n the remnant of the subd.cting slab characterized.by high cond.ctiv. and.low d.nsity slab in lithospheric mantle up to - 120 km across the Purna-God.v.ri riv.r faults has been traced.which may be caused.by fluid. d.e to metamorphism. Subd.ction related.intrusiv.s of the SMB south of it and.the Ad.B west of it suggest N-S and.E-W d.rected.conv.rgence and.subd.ction d.ring Meso-Neoproterozoic conv.rgence. The simultaneous E-W conv.r- gence between the Bund.lkhand.craton and.Marwar craton （Western Rajasthan） across the Ad.B and.the N-S conv.rgence between the Bund.lkhand.craton and.the Bhaod.ra and.d.arwar cratons across the SMB suggest that the forces of conv.rgence might hav. been in a NE SW d.rection with E-W and.N-S compo- nents in the two cases, respectiv.ly. This explains the arcuate shaped.collision zone of the Ad.B and.the SMB which are connected.in their western part. The Eastern Ghat Mobile Belt （EGMB） also shows signatures orE -W d.rected.Meso Neoproterozoic conv.rgence with East Antarctica similar to Ad.B in north Ind.a. Foreland.basins such as v.nd.yan （Ad.B-SMB）, and.Kurnool （EGMB） Supergroups of rocks were formed.d.ring this conv.rgence. Old.r rocks such as Arav.lli （Ad.B）, Mahakoshal-Bijawar （SMB）, and.Cud.apah （EGMB） Supergroups of rocks with sev.ral basic/ultrabasic intrusiv.s along these mobile belts, plausibly formed.d.ring an earlier episod. of rifting d.ring

The increased.expectation of automotiv., av.ation and.marine ind.stries pertaining to the enhanced.properties and.their use in elev.ted.temperature cond.tions and.also corrosiv. env.ronments lead. to the d.v.lopment of the newer material to meet the requirements. The requirements of the automobile and.marine applications call for the increased.mechanical properties and.lower d.nsity accompanied.with higher resistance to oxid.tion. Hence the present research work is aimed.at the d.v.lopment of Hybrid.metal matrix composites (HMMCs) using low-d.nsity base material and.reinforcements. The aluminum of grad. LM6 is preferred.material in automobile ind.stries, because it can be cast to any complex geometry and.possess good.machinability, further upon heat treatment, the properties of LM6 alloy can be enhanced.to meet the ind.stry requirements. Howev.r, requirements of automobile ind.stries consist of increased.mechanical properties, lower d.nsity and.higher corrosion resistance. Hence, in the present research work, it is aimed.to d.v.lop newer composite material using LM 6 grad.
