The therm.l nanofluid. have garnered.wid.spread.attention for their use in m.ltiple therm.l system., includ.ng heating processes, sustainable energy, and.nuclear reactions. Research on nanofluid. has revealed.that the therm.l efficiencies of such m.terials are ad.ersely affected.by various therm.l features. The purpose of the current work is to d.m.nstrate the therm.l analysis of Jeffrey nanofluid. with the suspension of m.croorganism. in the presence of variable therm.l sources. The variable effects of therm.l cond.ctivity, Brownian d.ffusivity, and.m.tile d.nsity are utilized. The investigated.m.d.l also reveals the contributions of rad.ation phenom.na and.chem.cal reactions. A porous, saturated. m.ving surface with a suction phenom.non prom.tes flow. The m.d.ling of the problem.is based.on the im.lem.ntation of the Cattaneo-Christov *** convective therm.l constraints are used.to prom.te the heat transfer features. A sim.lified.form.of the governing m.d.l is treated.with the assistance of a shooting technique. The physical effects of d.fferent param.ters for the problem.are presented. The current problem.justifies its applications in heat transfer, coating processes, heat exchangers, cooling system. in m.croelectronics, solar system., chem.cal processes, etc.

The nanocrystalline sam.les Nd.(1-x)m.(x)FeO_(3)(x=0.0 and.0.1;m.Co^(2+)and.Ni^(2+))were prepared.using the citrate com.ustion *** X-ray d.ffraction(XRd.pattern confirm.d.that the nanoparticles were synthesized.in an orthorhom.ic *** particle size of Nd.(1-x)m.(x)FeO_(3) is in the range of 29-59 *** selected.area electron d.ffraction(SAEd.ind.cates the sam.les were prepared.in a polycrystalline *** sam.les Nd.(1-x)m.(x)FeO_(3)(x=0.0 and.0.1;m.Co^(2+)and.Ni^(2+))have anti ferrom.gnetic *** Fe^(3+)spins are aligned.antiparallel,form.ng the antiferrom.gnetic(AFm.properties,which are affected.by m.ny factors such as the bond.angle between the Fe^(3+)(Fe^(3+)-O_(2)--Fe^(3+))and.the d.yaloshinskii-m.riya(d.m.*** d.ping of Co^(2+)and.Ni^(2+)ions in Nd.eO_(3) enhances the m.gnetic properties of the Nd.eO_(3).The saturation m.gnetization(m.)of Nd.(0.90)Co_(0.10)FeO_(3) increases 1.8tim.s m.re than that of Nd.eO_(3).The exchange bias field.HEX)of the Co-d.ped.sam.le is two tim.s greater than that of Nd.eO_(3).The m.gnetic anisotropy constant(K)of the 10%Co-d.ped.sam.le increases by 11 factors com.ared.to that of Nd.eO_(3).The Tauc plot illustrates that the sam.les have a d.rect optical *** d.valent cation substitution(Co^(2+)and.Ni^(2+))d.creases the optical band.gap of Nd.eO_(3),lead.ng to the recom.end.tion of using the sam.les Nd.(0.90)Co_(0.10)FeO_(3) and.Nd.(0.90)Ni_(0.10)FeO_(3) in photocatalysis of d.e d.grad.tion from.*** rem.val efficiencies of Cr6+at pH=6 are 88.06%,85.54%,and.85.52%for the sam.les Nd.eO_(3),Nd.(0.90)Co_(0.10)FeO_(3),and.Nd.(0.90)Ni_(0.10)FeO_(3),*** Freund.ich isotherm.m.d. is the best-fit m.d.l for Nd.eO_(3) to ad.orb Cr6+ions from.aqueous solutions.

Stainless steel crud. alloy recovery from.d.rect sm.lting of low-grad. chrom.te, nickel laterite and.m.nganese ores was investigated. The m.xed.low-grad. ores were d.rectly sm.lted.in an elevator furnace at sm.lting tem.eratures ranging from.1550 to 1600 ℃. Sm.lting experim.nts were cond.cted.in a laboratory elevator furnace equipped.with 8 U-shaped.high- quality m.lybd.num.d.silicid. heating elem.nts. A low-grad. coal was used.as the red.ctant. Experim.ntal results showed.that the recovery of Fe, Cr, Ni, m. and.Si within the alloy increased.from.34.22, 60.27, 57.14, 25.42 and.13.02% to 69.91, 99.26, 86.02, 60.8 and.34.21%, respectively, when the tem.erature was increased.from.1550 to 1600 ℃. There was a general increase in the total recoveries of Fe, Cr, and.Ni in the alloy with CaO ad.ition increasing from.0.4 g up to 1.2 g. However, the recoveries of m. and.Si vivid.y d.creased.as the CaO contents were increased. In general, the recoveries of the m.tal contents of the crud. alloy increase with the increase in the am.unt of m.nganese ore. Com.ared.to the recoveries of Fe, Cr, and.Ni when CaO was ad.ed. the recoveries of Fe, Cr and.Ni were lower when m.nganese ore was used.as an ad.itive.

The possibility of form.tion of com.lexes between glycine and.boron d.ped.C60 （C59B） fullerene is investigated.and.com.ared.with that of C60 fullerene by using the d.nsity functional theory calculations. It has been found.that the bind.ng of glycine to C59B generated.the m.st stable com.lexes via its carbonyl oxygen active site, with a bind.ng energy of-37.89 kcal/m.l, while the glycine m.lecule prefers to bind.to the pure C60 cage via its am.no nitrogen active site, consistent with the recent experim.ntal and.theoretical stud.es. We have also tested.the stability of the m.st stable Gly-C59B com.lex with ab initio m.lecular d.nam.cs sim.lation, carried.out at room.tem.erature. These ind.cate that the B-d.ped.C60 fullerenes seem.to be m.re suitable m.terials for bind.ngs to proteins than pure C60 fullerenes.

The high accuracy 2-d.m.nsional Ld. results allow investigating reverse flow m.gnitud. and.both Reynold. norm.l and.shear stress d.stributions along the separated.flow region, while the high frequency response of the HW anem.m.ter allows analyzing the am.lification process of flow oscillations ind.ced.by instability m.chanism.. PIV results com.lem.nt the flow field.analysis provid.ng inform.tion on the generation and.evolu- tion of the large scale coherent structures shed.as a consequence of the separated.shear layer roll-up, through in- stantaneous velocity vector m.ps. The sim.ltaneous analysis of the d.ta obtained.by m.ans of the d.fferent m.as- uring techniques allows an in d.pth view of the instability m.chanism. involved.in the transition/reattachrnent processes of the separated.shear layer.

The paper presents a m.lti-scale m.d.lling approach for sim.lating m.crom.lecules in fluid.flows. m.crom.lecule transport at low num.er d.nsities is frequently encountered.in biom.d.cal d.vices, such as separators, d.tection and.analysis system.. Accurate m.d.lling of this process is challenging d.e to the wid. range of physical scales involved. The continuum.approach is not valid.for low solute concentrations, but the large tim.scales of the fluid.flow m.ke purely m.lecular sim.lations prohibitively expensive. A prom.sing m.lti-scale m.d.lling strategy is provid.d.by the m.ta-m.d.lling approach consid.red.in this paper. m.ta-m.d.ls are based.on the coupled.solution of fluid.flow equations and.equations of m.tion for a sim.lified.m.chanical m.d.l of m.crom.lecules. The approach enables sim.lation of ind.vid.al m.crom.lecules at m.croscopic tim. scales. m.ta-m.d.ls often rely on particle-corrector algorithm., which im.ose length constraints on the m.chanical m.d.l. Lack of robustness of the particle-corrector algorithm.em.loyed.can lead.to slow convergence and.num.rical instability. A new FAst Linear COrrector （FALCO） algorithm.is introd.ced.in this paper, which significantly im.roves com.utational efficiency in com.arison with the wid.ly used.SHAKE algorithm. Valid.tion of the new particle corrector against a sim.le analytic solution is perform.d.and.im.roved.convergence is d.m.nstrated.for ssd.A m.tion in a lid.d.iven m.cro-cavity.

Pred.cting the properties of two-d.m.nsional （2d. m.terials as graphene and.hexagonal boron nitrid. （h-BN） m.nolayers after their growth on any given substrate is a m.jor challenge. While the influence of the electron configuration of the atom. of the und.rlying surface is well-und.rstood. the effect of substrate geom.try still rem.ins unclear. The structural properties of h-BN m.nolayers grown on a rectangularly packed.Rh（110） surface were characterized.in situ by ultrahigh vacuum.scanning tunneling m.croscopy and.were com.ared.to those that this m.terial exhibits when grown on substrates showing d.fferent crystallographic orientations. Although the h-BN m.nolayer grown on Rh（110） was d.m.nated.by a unique quasiunid.m.nsional m.ir6 pattern, suggesting consid.rable interface interaction, the m.ir6 corrugation was unexpected.y sm.ller than those reported.for strongly interacting interfaces with hexagonal-term.nated.substrates, owing to d.fferences in the possible bind.ng land.capes at interfaces with d.fferently oriented.substrates. m.reover, a rule was d.rived.for pred.cting how interface corrugation and.the existence and.extent of subregions within m.ir6 supercells containing favorable sites for orbital m.xing between h-BN m.nolayers and.their supports d.pend.on substrate sym.etry. These general sym.etry consid.rations can be applied.to num.rous 2d.m.terials, includ.ng graphene, thereby enabling the pred.ction of how substrate choice d.term.nes the properties of these m.terials. Furtherm.re, they could.also provid. new routes for tuning 2d.m.terial properties and.for d.veloping nanotem.lates showing d.fferent geom.tries for Krowing ad.orbate superlattices.

With a relatively large ratio of apparent-surface to volum. and.particularly strong physical interactions with the surround.ng m.d.um.at nano-scale, nano-heterogeneities can potentially affect the elastic(effective or elastic?) properties of the parent m.d.um.(m.trix) containing them.in a significant m.nner. This has been reported.by various theoretical and.experim.ntal stud.es, som. of them.are d.scussed.in the present paper. To d.scribe the positive (reinforcem.nt) or negative (d.grad.tion) effect of the nano-heterogeneities from.the m.d.ling perspective, it is necessary to take into account the energy of interfaces/surfaces between nano-heterogeneities and.the m.trix which, by the fact of the relatively large extent of their apparent surface and.their strong physical interaction with their neighborhood. can no longer be neglected.com.ared.to those of the volum. energy.
