This stud. explores how the chem.cal interaction between m.gnesium.hyd.id.(m.H_(2))and.the ad.itive CrO_(3) influences the hyd.ogen/lithium.storage characteristics of m.H_(2).We have observed.that a 5 wt.%CrO_(3) ad.itive red.ces the d.hyd.ogenation activation energy of m.H_(2) by 68 kJ/m.l and.lowers the required.d.hyd.ogenation tem.erature by 80℃.CrO_(3) ad.ed.m.H_(2) was also tested.as an anod. in an Li ion battery,and.it is possible to d.liver over 90%of the total theoretical capacity(2038 m.h/g).Evid.nce for im.roved.reversibility in the battery reaction is found.only after the incorporation of ad.itives with m.H_(2).In d.pth characterization stud. by X-ray d.ffraction(XRd.technique provid.s convincing evid.nce that the CrO_(3) ad.itive interacts with m.H_(2) and.prod.ces Cr/m.O *** free energy analyses confirm.the therm.d.nam.c feasibility of conversion from.m.H_(2)/CrO_(3) to m.O/Cr,which is well supported.by the id.ntification of Cr(0)in the powd.r by X ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)*** high resolution transm.ssion electron m.croscopy(HRTEm.and.energy d.spersive spectroscopy(Ed.)we found.evid.nce for the presence of 5 nm.size Cr nanocrystals on the surface of m.O rock salt *** is also convincing ground.to consid.r that m.O rock salt accom.od.tes Cr in the *** observations support the argum.nt that creation of active m.tal–m.tal d.ssolved.rock salt oxid. interface m.y be vital for im.roving the reactivity of m.H_(2),both for the im.roved.storage of hyd.ogen and.lithium.

Rhom.ohed.al phase Hf_(x)Zr_(1.x)O_(2)(HZO,x from.0 to 1)film. are prom.sing for achieving robust ferroelectric polarization without the need.for an initial wake-up pre-cycling,as is norm.lly the case for the m.re com.only stud.ed.orthorhom.ic ***,a large spontaneous polarization observed.in rhom.ohed.al film. is not fully und.rstood.and.there are also large d.screpancies between experim.ntal and.theoretical *** this work,in rhom.ohed.al ZrO_(2)thin film.,we show that oxygen vacancies are not only a key factor for stabilizing the phase,but they are also a source of ferroelectric polarization in the *** is shown experim.ntally through the investigation of the structural properties,chem.cal com.osition and.the ferroelectric properties of the film. before and.after an annealing at m.d.rate tem.erature(400℃)in an oxygen environm.nt to red.ce the V_(o)concentration *** experim.ntal work is supported.by d.nsity functional theory(d.T)calculations which show that the rhom.ohed.al phase is the m.st stable one in highly oxygen d.fective ZrO_(2)*** d.T calculations also show that V_(o)contribute to the ferroelectric *** find.ngs reveal the im.ortance of V_(o)for stabilizing rhom.ohed.al ZrO_(2)thin film. with superior ferroelectric properties.

This work explored.possibilities of biod.grad.ble m.gnesium.alloy m.-3Y preparation by two m.d.rn powd.r m.tallurgy techniques–spark plasm. sintering(SPS)and.selective laser m.lting(SLm..The powd.r m.terial was consolid.ted.by both m.thod. utilising optim.sed.param.ters,which led.to very low porosity(∼0.3%)in the SLm.m.terial and.unm.asurably low porosity in the SPS *** m.in aim.of the stud. was the thorough m.crostructure characterisation and.interrelation between the m.crostructure and.the functional properties,such as m.chanical strength,d.form.bility,and.corrosion *** m.terials showed.com.arable strength of∼110 m.a in tension and.com.ression and.relatively good.d.form.bility of∼9%and.21%for the SLm.and.SPS m.terials,*** corrosion resistance of the SPS m.terial in 0.1 m.NaCl solution was superior to the SLm.one and.com.arable to the conventional extrud.d.*** d.gital im.ge correlation d.ring load.ng and.the cross-section analysis of the corrosion layers revealed.that the resid.al porosity and.large strained.grains have the d.m.nant negative effect on the functional properties of the SLm.*** the other hand.one of the prim.ry outcom.s of this stud. is that the SPS consolid.tion m.thod.is very effective in the preparation of the W3 biod.grad.ble alloy,resulting in m.terial with convenient m.chanical and.d.grad.tion properties that m.ght find.practical applications.

Using the GEANT4 and.Cosm.c Ray m.nte Carlo(CRm.)software packages,we d.veloped.a new sim.lation toolkit for astrophysical neutrino *** configuring the Baikal-GVd.d.tector and.com.aring the vertex position and.d.rection of incid.nt particles,as well as the channel-by-channel signals,to the events d.tected.by Baikal-GVd.we successfully generated.13 high-energy cascad. neutrino events with the *** analysis revealed.a system.tic offset between the reconstructed.shower position and.the true interaction position,with a d.stance close to the scale of the shower m.xim.m.of−0.54±1.29 *** achieved.a good.linear relationship between the photoelectron num.er of neutrino events obtained.by sim.lation and.the real d.ta m.asured.by *** sim.lation toolkit could.serve as a reliable basis for stud.ing the perform.nce of astrophysical neutrino telescopes.

Objective:To evaluate the polio laboratory surveillance carried.out from.January,2019 to m.y,2023 by the Polio Regional Reference Laboratory,Sri ***:This retrospective stud. analyzed.all stool sam.les received.und.r the acute flaccid.paralysis(AFP)and.im.unod.ficient vaccine-d.rived.poliovirus(Vd.V)surveillance at Polio Regional Reference Laboratory,Sri Lanka from.January,2019 to m.y,*** results of the testing m.thod.logies were extracted.from.the laboratory d.ta system.i.e.,poliovirus virus isolation,intra-typic d.fferentiation/Vd.V real tim. reverse transcriptase polym.rase chain reaction(ITd.Vd.V rRTPCR)and.sequencing,along with the d.ta on tim.ng of reporting results,stool ad.quacy and.*** was analyzed.using d.scriptive ***:A total of 2141 stool sam.les from.1644 cases were received.for AFP surveillance from.Sri Lanka(93.61%),m.ld.ves(1.52%),and.im.unod.ficient Vd.V(4.86%)*** polioviruses(19/1644,1.15%)and.non-polio enteroviruses(73/1644,4.44%)were isolated.while Sabin-like 3 virus was d.tected.in m.jority(12/19,63.15%)am.ng the poliovirus *** polioviruses or circulating Vd.Vs were not d.tected.am.ng the *** all years of the stud.,the non-polio AFP d.tection rate was>1/100000 in child.en aged.less than 15 years,whereas stool ad.quacy rate was>80%.All results were reported.within 14 d.ys of receipt,ensuring tim.ly reporting as per global ***:The Polio Regional Reference Laboratory,Sri Lanka plays a vital role in m.intaining the polio-free status in the country through its robust laboratory surveillance,while ad.ering to the surveillance ***-d.tection of wild.polioviruses and.circulating Vd.V d.ring the stud. period.reinforces the polio-free status in the country.

This work shows that d.spite a lattice m.sm.tch of alm.st 20%, Cd.nTe/Cd.e/Cd.nTe heterostructures grown d.rectly on Si(111) have surprisingly good.optical em.ssion properties. The investigated.structures were grown by m.lecular beam.epitaxy and.characterized.by scanning transm.ssion electron m.croscopy, m.cro-and.m.cro-photolum.nescence. Low tem.erature m.cro-photolum.nescence experim.nts ind.cate three em.ssion band. which d.pend.on the Cd.e layer thickness and.have d.fferent confinem.nt characteristics. Tem.erature m.asurem.nts reveal that the lower energy em.ssion band.(at 1.48 eV)is associated.to d.fects and.bound.exciton states, while the m.in em.ssion at 1.61 eV has a weak 2d.character and.the higher energy one at 1.71 eV has a well-d.fined.(zero-d.m.nsional, 0d. 0d.nature. m.cro-photolum.nescence m.asurem.nts show the existence of sharp and.strongly circularly polarized.(up to 40%) em.ssion lines which can be related.to the presence of m. in the heterostructure. This result opens the possibility of prod.cing photon sources with the typical spin control of the d.luted.m.gnetic sem.cond.ctors using the low-cost silicon technology.
