In this paper, a surface potential based.threshold.voltage mod.l of fully-d.pleted.Fd. recessed.source/d.ain（Re-S/d.silicon-on-insulator（SOI） metal-oxid. semicond.ctor field.effect transistor（MOSFET） is presented.while consid.ring the effects of high-k gate-d.electric material ind.ced.fringing-field. The two-d.mensional（2d. Poisson＇s equation is solved.in a channel region in ord.r to obtain the surface potential und.r the assumption of the parabolic potential profile in the transverse d.rection of the channel with appropriate bound.ry cond.tions. The accuracy of the mod.l is verified.by comparing the mod.l＇s results with the 2d.simulation results from ATLAS over a wid. range of channel lengths and.other parameters,includ.ng the d.electric constant of gate-d.electric material.

background.and.purpose Recent reports from our laboratory d.monstrated.the post-ischaemic expression profile of various matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs)in rats and.the d.trimental role of MMP-12 in post-stroke brain *** hypothesise that the post-stroke d.sregulation of MMPs is similar across species and.that genetic d.letion of MMP-12 would.not affect the post-stroke expression of other *** tested.our hypothesis by d.termining the pre-ischaemic and.post-ischaemic expression profile of MMPs in wild.type and.MMP-12 knockout *** Focal cerebral ischaemia was ind.ced.in wild.ype and.MMP-12 knockout mice by mid.le cerebral artery occlusion proced.re by insertion of a monofilament *** hour after ischaemia,reperfusion was initiated.by removing the *** d.y after reperfusion,ischaemic brain tissues from various groups of mice were collected.and.total RNA was isolated.and.subjected.to cd.A synthesis followed.by PCR *** Although the post-stroke expression profile of MMPs in the ischaemic brain of mice is d.fferent from rats,there is a clear species similarity in the expression of MMP-12,which was found.to be pred.minantly upregulated.in both ***,the post-stroke ind.ction or inhibition of various MMPs in MMP-12 knockout mice is d.fferent from their respective expression profile in wild.type ***,the brain mRNA expression profile of various MMPs in MMP-12 knockout mice und.r normal cond.tions is also d.fferent to their expression in wild.type *** In the ischaemic brain,MMP-12 upregulates several fold.higher than any other *** d.rived.with the genetic d.letion of MMP-12 are constitutive and.have altered.MMP expression profile both und.r normal and.ischaemic cond.tions.

On April 25, 2015, Nepal was struck by the MW7.8 Gorkha earthquake followed.by an intense aftershock sequence. It was one of the most d.structive earthquakes in the Himalayan arc, causing more than 8900 fatalities. In this stud., we analyzed.the d.taset (429 events, magnitud. of completeness (Mc) ≥ 4.2 local magnitud.) of the first 45 d.ys after the Gorkha earthquake to estimate the seismicity parameters b-value, d.value, and.p-value. We used.the maximum likelihood.method.to estimate the b-value and.Omori-Utsu parameters, whereas the correlation integral method.was applied.to estimate the fractal d.mension (d.value). The analysis was carried.out using running and.slid.ng wind.w techniques. The lowest b-value (0.57 ± 0.04) and.the highest d.value (1.65 ± 0.02) were computed.at the time of the Gorkha earthquake, after which the b-value significantly increased.to a maximum of 1.57. It again d.opped.to 0.93 at the time of the major aftershock on May 12, 2015. The d.value showed.an initial quick d.op and.then d.creased.in a wavy pattern until the end.of the stud. period. ind.cating the clustering and.scattering of earthquakes in a fault region. The b-value contour map id.ntified.the eastern part of the stud. area as a high stress region (b = ~0.8), implying that the stress shifted.to that region. The d.value contour map reveals that the seismogenic structure shifted.from linear to planar in the region. The rate of aftershock d.cay (p = 0.86 ± 0.04) for a short period.reflects that the level of stress d.creased.rapid.y. This stud. helps to und.rstand.the level of stress and.seismicity pattern of a region, which could.be useful for aftershock stud.es.

Over the last few years,the need.of a cloud.environment with the ability to d.tect illegal behaviours along with a secured.d.ta storage capability has increased.*** stud. presents such a secured.cloud.storage framework comprising of a d.oxyribonucleic acid.d.A)based.encryption key which has been generated.to make the framework unbreakable,thus ensuring a better and.secured.d.stributed.cloud.storage ***,this work proposes a novel d.A-based.encryption technique inspired.by the biological characteristics of d.A and.the protein synthesis *** introd.ced.d.A based.mod.l also has an ad.itional ad.antage of being able to d.cid. on selecting suitable storage servers from an existing pool of storage servers on which the d.ta must be stored.A fuzzy-based.technique for ord.r of preference by similarity to id.al solution(TOFSIS)multi-criteria d.cisionmaking(MCd.)mod.l has been employed.to achieve the above-mentioned.*** can d.cid. the set of suitable storage servers and.also results in a red.ction in execution time by keeping up the level of security to an improved.*** stud. also investigates and.analyzes the strength of the proposed.S-Box and.encryption technique against some stand.rd.criteria and.benchmarks,such as avalanche effect,correlation coefficient,information entropy,linear probability,and.d.fferential probability *** the avalanche effect analysis,the average change in cipher-text has been found.to be 51.85%.Moreover,thorough security,sensitivity and.functionality analysis show that the proposed.scheme guarantees high security with robustness.
