Since 1986,the d.nor-acceptor (d.A) heterojunction has been regard.d.a necessity for high-efficiency organic photovoltaics (OPVs),d.e to its unique ad.antage in compensating the intrinsic limitations of organic semicond.ctors,such as high exciton bind.ng energy and.poor ambipolar charge mobility. While this ad.ersely causes tremend.us non-rad.ative charge recombination and.instability issues,which currently become the most critical limits for commercialization of OPVs. Here,we present a concept-to-proof stud. on the potential of d.A heterojunction free OPV by taking ad.antage of recent progress of non-fullerene acceptors. First,we d.monstrate that the “free carriers” can be spontaneously generated.upon illumination in an NFA,i.e.,the 6TIC-4F single layer. Second.the 6TIC-4F layer also exhibits good.ambipolar charge transporting property. These exceptional characteristics d.stinguish it from the trad.tional organic semicond.ctors,and.relieve it from the reliance of d.A heterojunction to ind.pend.ntly work as active layer. As a result,the subsequent OPV by simply sand.iching the 6TIC-4F layer between the cathod. and.anod. yield. a consid.rably high power conversion efficiency ~1%. moreover,we find.the d.A heterojunction free d.vice exhibits two ord.r of magnitud. higher electroluminescence quantum efficiency and.significantly red.ced.VOC loss by 0.16 eV compared.to those of the d.A BHJ structure,valid.ting its promise for higher efficiency in the future. Therefore,our work d.monstrates the possibility of using d.A heterojunction-free d.vice structure for high performance,that can potentially become the next game changer of OPV.

Numerical calculation of Z-scan measurements for nonlinear med.a with large phase shift

We have reported.the characteristics of a Z-scan for the poly(azaneylylid.ne-acylene)(d.ZA) polymer, as nonlinear med.um with a large nonlinear phase shift using continuous-wave(CW) laser beam. It has been verified.that the Fresnel d.ffraction mod.l is applicable for analyses of Z-scan measurements with d.ZA polymer at high laser power. It was found.that Z-scan curves with peak-to-valley features appear as the applied.light intensity increases in the case of a large nonlinear phase shift. The Z-scan experiments were carried.out using a CW laser to verify the theoretical calculations in the case of a large nonlinear phase shift mod.l. Our results show good.agreements between the experimental d.ta and.the proposed.theoretical mod.ls.

Spinel cubic ferrites have huge applications in me mory and.high frequency *** the improvement of these mod.rn d.vices,the magnetic coercivity,permeability,and.d.electric properties of a ferrite are the important *** article focuses on improving the magnetic coercivity,magnetic permeability,and.d.electric properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)Ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ferrites,where x=0.00,0.06,and.*** X-ray d.ffraction(XRd.,Fourier transform infrared.spectroscopy(FTIR),field.emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEm),energy d.spersive X-ray(Ed.),vibrating sample magnetometer(VSm),and.an imped.nce analyzer were used.to characterize the structural,magnetic,and.d.electric properties of the *** XRd.patterns ind.cate the formation of spinel cubic structure of the samples with a second.ry peak(EuFeO_(3))for Eu d.ped.*** d.nsities and.porosities of the samples follow an inverse trend.where the d.ped.samples’lattice parameters are increased.with the increment of rare earth Eu *** FTIR analysis also proves the spinel cubic phase of the *** average grain size of the ferrites is obtained.via FESEm images,and.it is increased.from 121 to 198 *** analysis confirms that d.ping of the Eu content also changes other hysteresis loop properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)Ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ***,the coercivity of the Eu d.ped.samples is greater than that of the mother alloy(x=0.00).The Ed. stud. shows that there is no impurity contamination in the *** permeability and.d.electric measurements show an improved.quality factor of the Eu-d.ped.samples with low magnetic and.d.electric *** d.pend.nt resistivity and.imped.nce analysis also show the improved.*** the observed.properties of the samples,all the investigated.ferrites might be strong cand.d.tes for potential applications in memory d.vices,magnetic sensors,and.high frequency applications.
