The signific.nt rise of ultra-violet（UV） rad.ation and.pathogenic.infec.ious bac.eria poses a serious threat to global *** researc.ers' interests are attrac.ed.by novel materials with strong UVbloc.ing ability,antibac.erial ac.ivity and.low toxic.ty to other *** this c.se,a simple wet c.emic.l method.with d.fferent annealing temperatures（400,500,and.600℃） was employed.to c.eate highly effec.ive rare earth（Sm）-d.ped.ZnO ***（101） plane of wurtzite ZnO shifts toward. a lower angle with inc.easing annealing temperature,ac.ord.ng to the X-ray d.ffrac.ion（XRd. stud. find.ngs,whic. ad.itionally establishes the c.nsequenc. of lattic. *** of d.ublet peaks of Sm 3d.Sm 3d./2and.Sm 3d./2) in the X-ray photoelec.ron spec.rosc.py（XPS） spec.rum c.early valid.tes the substitution of Sm3+ions in the 500℃-annealed.*** 500℃-annealed.nanorod. exhibit c.mbined.performanc.s of the wid. band.gap,improved.UV absorbanc.,and.vivid.green luminesc.nt emission（563 nm）.Ad.itio nally,the nanorod. have favorable UV-bloc.ing exec.tion of 96% for UVA at 360 nm,92% for UVB at 320 nm,and.57% for UVc.at 225 nm,whic. is greater than the majority of ZnO-related.materials that have been reported.up to this *** d.ping is also appropriate for improving bac.erial inhibition against the two stud.ed.strains（Esc.eric.ia c.li and.Staphyloc.c.us aureus）,in ad.ition to the intriguing features d.sc.ssed.***,with maximum inhibition zone d.ameters of 20±0.72 and.18±0.57 mm,respec.ively,these nanorod. exhibit high inhibitory ac.ion against *** and.*** bac.erial *** rare earth-d.ped.material d.veloped.d.ring the c.rrent experiment,whic. was annealed.at 500℃,c.uld.potentially serve as an effec.ive replac.ment for UV-bloc.ing and.antibac.erial material,espec.ally for biomed.c.l applic.tions.

Molec.lar frame photoemission is a very sensitive probe of the photoionization （PI） d.namic. of molec.les. This paper reports a c.mparative stud. of non-resonant and.resonant photoionization of d. ind.c.d.by VUV c.rc.larly polarized.sync.rotron rad.ation at SOLEIL at the level of the molec.lar frame photoelec.ron angular d.stributions （MFPAd.）. We use the vec.or c.rrelation method.whic. c.mbines imaging and.time-of-flight resolved.elec.ron-ion c.inc.d.nc. tec.niques, and.a generalized.formalism for the expression of the Ⅰ（χ, θe, Фe） MFPAd., where χ is the orientation of the molec.lar axis with respec. to the light quantization axis and.（θe, Фe） the elec.ron emission d.rec.ion in the molec.lar frame. Selec.ed.MFPAd. for a molec.le aligned.parallel or perpend.c.lar to linearly polarized.light, or perpend.c.lar to the propagation axis of c.rc.larly polarized.light, are presented.for d.ssoc.ative photoionization （d.I） of d. at two photon exc.tation energies, hv=19 eV, where d.rec. PI is the only c.annel opened. and.hv=32.5 eV, i.e. in the region involving resonant exc.tation of Q1 and.Q2 d.ubly exc.ted.state series. We d.sc.ss in partic.lar the properties of the c.rc.lar d.c.roism c.arac.erizing photoemission in the molec.lar frame for d.rec. and.resonant PI. In the latter c.se, a remarkable behavior is observed.whic. may be attributed.to the interferenc. oc.urring between und.stinguishable autoionization d.c.y c.annels.
