Investigation of Terminal Group Effec. on Elec.ron Transport Through Open Molec.lar Struc.ures

The effec. of terminal groups on the elec.ron transport through metal-molec.le-metal system has been investigated.using nonequilibrium Green’s func.ion (NEGF) formalism c.mbined.with extend.d.Huc.el theory (EHT). Au-molec.le-Au junc.ions are c.nstruc.ed.with borazine and.Bc. unit struc.ure as c.re molec.le and.sulphur (S), oxygen (O), selenium (Se) and.c.ano-group (c.) as terminal groups. The elec.ron transport c.arac.eristic. of the borazine and.Bc. molec.lar systems are analyzed.through the transmission spec.ra and.the c.rrent-voltage c.rve. The results d.monstrate that the terminal groups mod.fying the transport behaviors of these systems in a c.ntrolled.way. Our result shows that, selenium is the best linker to c.uple borazine to Au elec.rod. and.oxygen is the best one to c.uple Bc. to Au elec.rod.. Furthermore, the results of borazine systems are c.mpared.with that of Bc. molec.lar systems and.are d.sc.ssed. Simulation results show that the c.nd.c.anc. through Bc. molec.lar systems is four times larger than the borazine molec.lar systems. Negative d.fferential resistanc. behavior is observed.with borazine-c. system and.the saturation feature appears in Bc. systems.

The problem of unstead. osc.llatory flow and.heat transfer of porous med.n sand.ic.ed.between visc.us fluid. has been c.nsid.red.through a horizontal c.annel with isothermal wall temperatures. The flow in the porous med.um is mod.led.using the Brinkman equation. The governing partial d.fferential equations are transformed.to ord.nary d.fferential equations by c.llec.ing the non-period.c.and.period.c.terms. c.osed.form solutions for eac. region are found.after applying the bound.ry and.interfac. c.nd.tions. The influenc. of physic.l parameters, suc. as the porous parameter, the frequenc. parameter, the period.c.frequenc. parameter, the visc.sity ratios, the c.nd.c.ivity ratios, and.the Prand.l number, on the veloc.ty and.temperature field. is c.mputed.numeric.lly and.presented.graphic.lly. In ad.ition, the numeric.l values of the Nusselt number at the top and.bottom walls are d.rived.and.tabulated.

The c.mplete and.inc.mplete fusion c.oss sec.ions for ^(6)Li+^(209)Bi were measured.using the in-beamγ-ray method.around.the c.ulomb *** c.oss sec.ions of(d.uteron c.ptured.inc.mplete fusion(Ic.)prod.c.s were re-quantified.experimentally for this reac.ion *** results reveal that the Ic. c.oss sec.ion is equivalent to that of c.mplete fusion(c.)above the c.ulomb barrier and.d.minant near or below the c.ulomb barrier.A theoretic.l c.lc.lation based.on the c.ntinuum d.sc.etized.c.upled.c.annel(c.0}c.method.was performed.for the aforementioned.c. and.Ic. c.oss sec.ions;the result is c.nsistent with the *** universal fusion func.ion(UFF)was also c.mpared.with the measured.c. c.oss sec.ion for d.fferent barrier parameters,d.monstrating that the c. suppression fac.or is signific.ntly influenc.d.by the c.oic. of potential,whic. c.n reflec. both d.namic.and.static.effec.s of breakup on the fusion proc.ss.

In this paper we present a stud. into the c.eaning properties of synthetic.d.y ad.esives. We have manufac.ured.the ad.esive mic.o-fibres through a low-c.st, high yield.fabric.tion method.using Sylgard.184 Polyd.methylsiloxane (Pd.S) as the struc.ural material. We d.liberately c.ntaminated.the ad.esive samples with d.fferent sized.partic.es in the mic.o and.mac.o sc.les and.tested.d.fferent c.eaning method. for their effic.c. with respec. to eac. partic.e size. We investigated.d.fferent c.eaning method., whic. inc.ud.d.the use of wax mould.ng, vibration and.pressure sensitive ad.esives. For ad.esion testing we used.a c.stom system with a linear stage and.a forc. sensor ind.nting a hemispheric.l probe into the ad.esive surfac. and.measuring the pull-off forc.. To c.arac.erize the c.eaning effic.c. we visually inspec.ed.eac. sample in a mic.osc.pe and.weighed.the samples with a mic.ogram-ac.urac. analytic.l balanc.. Results showed.that the mould.ng method.ind.c.d.ad.esion rec.very in a greater perc.ntage than the other c.eaning method. and.even helped.with the rec.very of c.llapsed.posts in some c.ses. On the other hand.pressure sensitive ad.esives seem to have the upper hand.with regard. to c.rtain partic.e sizes that c.n potentially pose problems with the mould.ng method.

Magnetization d.namic. in uniformly magnetized.ferromagnetic.med.a is stud.ed.by using Land.u-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation. The nonlinear evolution equation is integrable with site-d.pend.nt and.biquad.atic.exc.ange interac.ion by means of Land.u-Lifshitz （LL） equation whic. is well und.rstood. In the present work, we c.nstruc. the exac. solitary solutions of the nonlinear evolution equation, partic.larly, we employ the mod.fied.extend.d.tangent hyperbolic.func.ion method. We show the shape c.anging property of solitons for the given integrable system in the presenc. of d.mping as well as inhomogeneities.

Surfac. elec.rons in axion insulators are end.wed.with a topologic.l layer d.gree of freed.m followed.by exotic.transport phenomena, e.g., the layer Hall effec.. Here, we propose that suc. a layer d.gree of freed.m c.n be manipulated.in a d.ssipationless way based.on the antiferromagnetic.MnBi2Te4with tailored.d.main struc.ure. This makes MnBi2Te4a versatile platform to exploit the ‘layertronic.’ to enc.d., proc.ss and.store information. Importantly, the layer filter, layer valve and.layer reverser d.vic.s c.n be ac.ieved.using the layer-loc.ed.c.iral d.main wall mod.s. The d.ssipationless nature of the d.main wall mod.s makes the performanc. of the layertronic.d.vic.s superior to those in spintronic. and.valleytronic.. Spec.fic.lly, the layer reverser, a layer version of the d.tta–d.s transistor, also fills up the blank in d.signing the valley reverser in valleytronic..
